Though question.. Freespace 2 is the only game that really comes to mind though. The ending would be fitting for that situation as well.

You mean this? What the hell. Nothing of this was in their site yesterday, not a single word mentioning K2. The entire story is build around K2.. The story of the first game mentioned nothing of a hidden threat or the true Sith Empire pulling the strings or even Revan leaving known space, that was all K2. So it's kinda wierd people are making a fuss about the new MMO neglecting the story in OEs sequel.

That is certainly a possiblity, as Bioware has been a little vague in the description of what happened. It was mentioned that the Emperor had used the Force to prolong his life. Which adds credence to that theory.

Still, if this was a single player game and all the different classes really were like a seperate game, telling the same story from a different angle, you would have X times the content, per added class. Which I would actually think is a cool idea. Of course it's probably gonna be standard MMO quests and story and the 3 hours it takes to gather 10 Gzoarka skulls isn't really my idea of gameplay. Not to criticize MMO quests, because I know alot of people are ok with that.

Within the now known released story for the Bioware Kotor MMO, Revan wasn't heard from for 300 years. So we can assume something bad happened to him, since the Sith Empire came back and steamrolled the Republic, something which he was trying to prevent.

Actually on Biowares website the MMO and the Bioware/LucasArt game are listed as two different games. Which I guess is why people are still holding their breath.

I depends on the context. If it's used in a manner that could be considered seriously offensive I think it's a good idea to remove it. But if it's just a passage from the Quran in no particular context, I can't see how that would be an offense. Most muslim probably don't even care and the more serious zealots should be happy that a game company is spreadin the good word.

Saw The Signal it has a definite B-quality vibe to it and once you accept that and watch in that mindset it becomes are very enjoyable independent feature film. I recommend it, but mostly due to the fact that it's a bit of an experiment in film making by the three directors behind it. Part 1 is horror, part 2 is dark comedy and part 3 is sci-fi (although you'll hardly notice).
