Actually he's using logic..

Plus I think a cleric is absolutely essential given the new death system.. If I hadn't had a Wizard and a Favoured Soul in my party I probably would've had a much harder time completing the game. If not to say it would've been somewhat impossible. edit: a you were faster than me there.. I have to agree, both the Sorcerer and the Favoured Soul makes the game easier.

Playing SoZ with an all evil party. Water Genasi Warlock with a Fiendish heritage, Yuan-Ti Druid, Gray Dwarf Fighter and Asimaar Sorcerer.

to make it sound cool? -
haha nice.. I do remember him talking about feeding him and I had the captain with me, who strongly objected to it. Plus I was a good guy.. Did the fact that you fed them to One of Many have any impact on their story? (obviously, but it never hurts to ask)
-
Wait you can have him join you? and feed him? .. wow.. I tried to fight him, but he steamrolled me, so I just left him alone after my some dialouge.
-
Yeah the mercenary is the Ranger.. You met two more than me, but that still mean there's one more since there's 11 in total. Thanks for the tip on the cold iron. I'm gonna replay as an evil party this weekend, so I'll be trying some of those different cohorts then.

Maybe I misunderstood it, but still 20 years in a prison is a really long time.. his life will effectively be over, not to mention that he won't exactly have the smoothest of rides in there, as other criminals have quite a picking order and these guys are at the absolut bottom. The guards probably won't help him out either, so it's gonna be living hell for him. 20 years of constant fear of what other extremely bad men will do to you. I know he's a scumbag, but that my friend, is not getting off easy. -
I made a thread for SoZ spoilers - here - So we can keep this one spoiler free.

Having played and finished it, I can say it's in a playing condition now.. But waiting a few months wouldn't hurt, since there are some annoying bugs. Example: I couldn't get the alarm stones to work (small stones that enable you to sleep inside when enemies are around), which meant that the last few fights my wizard was pretty worthless because he had used all his spells.

I saw that earlier this year at a film festival.. I was blown away! Seriously, I've rarely seen a more haunting and beautiful film. Me and my friends were speechless for quite awhile afterwards. It derserves it's ranking amongst the top 250 on IMDB.

Sorry for the spoilers here.. for those interested but too afraid to look, it's only about a companion you can find.

I liked him better in

It's almost like playing BG2 again, where it felt like 90% of the game was sidequests and wierd companions (in a good way).
-
In puppet mode, they would attack until I changed the order in my game. You can adjust alot of their behaviour under their profiles - I though they behaved well enough after I set some parameters up. Of course they tend to stand around doing nothing every once in a while, which is annoying. But a quick "attack nearest enemy" would solve that.

I like the fact that the game is still somewhat challenging even if you get overkill equipment. I still need to be somewhat tactical with encounters otherwise they will overwhelm me. Also it's nice to be dropped in a world that doesn't seem to be tailored to you and your abilities. In the OC campaign I always felt like I could take on anyone at anytime because I could win every time - that's not the case here, there are some places that I simply can't go because I'm too weak and have to run away screaming Cthulu style.

I've noticed how popular it's become in Denmark in the last year or so. Actually I'm quite happy with mine, besides my girlfriend has commanded that I keep the beard, so I'm kinda stuck with it no matter what.
-
I thought the level up was a bit fast as well, but I was getting my bottom handed to me at most enocunters, so I really appriciate the fact that I level up rather quickly - after level lvl 10 it got alot slower though, because you need to do alot of other things that doesn't net you as much xp.
-
Did it last november.. still have it.

Most helmets won't appear on your companions, I don't know why.
-
yes and no - it has some major problems. Combat is a hybrid between BG, Diablo and SPECIAL, taking the worst from all engines. The story is somewhat lacking, but the setting is brilliant imo. I don't know, it's both really good and really abysimal at the same time - it depends on how forgiving you are, I had a lot of fun with it, playing co-op with a friend. But I never finished it, it was simply too hard (both to play and forgive) at times.

No, the new crafting system should take the entire partys skills into account. So you should be able to spread your crafting out over several characters without having to make a single "crafting guy". You made sure you're in the appropiate area (with workbenches)? Check to make sure you have all the requirements and ingredients? What message do you get when you try to craft something? Can't remember exactly, I think it was that I didn't have the appropriate feat. But my "crafting guy" does. It's obviously just me that missed something though, so I'll check it out next time I'm near a workbench. (could be that I didn't have the right casting level come to think of it - there's so many things to keep track of. )
-
Okay - quick question, is it only the leader (first character created) who can use recipes and craft wonderous items/enchant etc? because I had one of my other companies pick the feats thinking they could craft as well - but I can't seem to make it work.
