  1. I usually have one or two day stubble. Does that make me evil?
  2. Lol @ gooners. It's way too early to throw in the towel but Chelsea already have some significant points between them and the rest of the table. I think that's the difference at Chelsea - get the results first and then build up form will come.
  3. Wow, I didn't expect 9 pages overnight. Anyway I don't have my original avatar anymore - it was from a cover of Sandman. My current one's cropped from the following picture. Source is on the pic. It turns out better on the larger MSN avatar size.
  4. I changed my avatar of a fiery vague silhouette of a head into an anime dude with red hair. Has your perception of me changed? To show this is not purely spam, I shall propose a discussion on how visual representation forms impressions in a text-based communication form removed from face-to-face interaction. Discuss (the former).
  5. You could send it to me
  6. I think Owen will do quite well at Newcastle since he'll be playing all he can get and people will try to give him the ball more.
  7. ROFL, Liberals complaining about the conservative bias in the media. How ironic.
  8. Has the gender of the child been determined?
  9. Soviet Superman > Regular Superman
  10. Should find out where the card creator is, especially since the new format of the cards. I remember there was one on 4chan about looters. It was a black 1/1 and "attacks each turn if able" and "gain control of target artifact when comes into play" ability.
  11. You guys need the mtg card creator.
  12. ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Llyranor's Zangeif av > Eru's sig though.
  13. I love the game. IRL I play left forward and have been trying central midfield holding/distribution role. I try to be creative with passes into space and flicks/lobs/chips when I can and my pace can catch out tubby players. My biggest weakness is I can't head for nuts. I follow my team on EPL and keep updated on other leagues. Chelsea, Milan, Italy and Holland in that order. As for the US, it's highly doubtful that they'll win the WC but they should put in a solid performance like they did last time. Outside Freddy Adu I don't know if they have a creative force, but they do have the basics right and organisation. After seeing what Japan are capable of in the Confed Cup, I'm eager to see how they'll do. Under Zico their short passing is amazing - they manage to find space under the tightest pressuring with one almost perfect one-touch football. They just don't have a striker worthy of their buildup play. They'll struggle to create chances throughout the game and when they do they don't have someone to reliably get shots on target.
  14. Tigers live in balance because they don't have a choice. Predator numbers tend to follow their prey numbers. If prey's high, predators increase and when they overhunt prey numbers fall followed by a decline in predator numbers. There's no such thing as a tiger trying to live in balance. They're forced to. Humans on the other hand can try to live in semi-balance. At the very least we can be "forced to", though our "force" tollerance is higher than tigers.
  15. If the project's internally funded, interest doesn't need to be paid to another company. The money stays within the company but you still need to make sure that you're getting an acceptable return on the project and you can set it at what you think's appropriate. If the expected return's not acceptable then you shouldn't be starting the project anyway. As for the 7% - are salary/overhead costs part of the expenses in calculating the 7% or do they come from the 7%? Technically a project can have a net present value (NPV) of 0 and still be ok if your expenses have been imputed into the costs in calculating the NPV (which is how it should be done).
  16. LOL IKEA.
  17. I don't understand this. Use indicator variables damn it!
  18. In this case it's a Japanese dude behind the idea. So I guess it's Japanese encouraging Americans to screw them.
  19. The extreme can't distinguish. I suppose you could chalk up bias against religion turning people into the extermists they disliked in the first place as another reason to dislike religion.
  20. Hmm... chicken. (Visceris takes out his knife and fork) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Inappropriate interaction with chickens might increase your chances of contracting avian flu.
  21. Iirc they're worried that the avian flu might spread to other birds or heaven forbid, mutate in some flu combo thingy and get passed on as the common cold. Seems like avian flu has higher than usual mortality rates so that's disturbing. If they find some kind of vaccine no need to worry excessively I suppose.
  22. Economics will dictate most business decisions unless you have a philantropist to bankroll things. What can be said is if Planescape did have the hype machine of today or some of the better ones in its day it would have probably done better. On the other hand, Planescape did get very high scores on many review sites so that should count as significant promotion.
  23. Enjoy yourself
  24. I think it's likelier that there will be groups of countries instead of one or two acting alone. The whole thing with everyone should have one thing is dangerous.
  25. I wonder if the UN would approve its countries sending in nukes at the pariah. Even if you eventually win the war, a first volley of say a dozen nukes to close countries' metropolises will be devastating. I heard NK's not too fond of Japan.
