What games are using the Eberron Setting?
Atreides replied to SteveThaiBinh's topic in Computer and Console
Sounds fun. Btw since when did Eldar become a mod? -
Lol, great site. No idea how to save a pic off flash so I had to print screen + crop. I know there's a better way.

I've never had any training so I don't know how. I blame my predicament on an environment that discourages males to express their feelings and that says that such things are a sign of weakness. However, thanks to the Food Network and Iron Chef it's cool to be a foodie so this is an area where I try to express myself (and the ladies) artistically. I need a hug.

I think the double upgrades and crystals that you can stuff into 2xsingle is significant. Usually you'll have crystals that can bump your stats and that's always nice.

It's probably for the better.

Does magic become better if you're drunk?

Are you talking about food or hardware? Hardware: Saucepan/deep pot with lid, Knife, chopping board, some fridge/microwave tupperware stuff (storage + temp holding for cooking), stuff to eat from. Nonstick frying pan is a useful addition. I have a microwave rice cooker. Food: Rice, salt/pepper, I use soy sauce, olive oil. Tomatoes/carrots last a long time (I've been eating 3-4 carrots/day for dinner). Once in awhile I have sliced cucumber in Korean pepper paste for quick salad/veg. Spaghetti's good too - lasts and the sauce can be quickly microwaved. I usually have a tin of baked beans as emergency in case I have nothing else to eat. In my experience, cereal's better than tinned soup (bad experiences) for filling up. Btw, remember to sharpen your knife often. I love using sharp knives.

You guys just crack me up.

Those electrode wires sticking out of the head look nasty. I'm afraid to think what would happen if someone gave them a strong yank.

Personally I'm more about bounce and tapping stuff with counter. I managed to keep a green stompy/green deck at bay with my blue, heh The spirits flame deck looks really powerful by my standards anyway. The creatures just keep coming back from the graveyard with soulshift and they interact well with the arcane pumping/splicing with red burn.
-
I find perverted love in frustrating players with blue. However recently I'm being seduced with red's burn. However, I don't like playing really negative decks like Millstone etc which are just too unfun. Nowadays when I look at creatures (esp blue) I'm get too worried if they're 1 toughness and even two because of red and black's board clearing damage. @Eldar: PM'd you.

Now it's about the foils. Those devious people at Wizards keep finding ways to suck you in

I think locking a serial spammer up in a cell without internet access might be more painful. I think I would get early withdrawal symptoms - not that I'm a spammer mind you.

The thing about Magic that most attracts me is the creativity you have at constructing your decks, the ones you encounter and the flavour of it. Sometimes you can get jaded and think about it in just winning, numbers etc but when you step back and look at it - it's quite something when your black death/decay zombie deck dukes it out with say a green life gaining deck etc. The art helps too As such, no customised decks are really the same from player to player and that's what makes it more appealing to me than say chess or other standardised games. The main drawback I see is obviously the cost and familiarising yourself with the cards that keep coming out - especially if you've been out of the loop for awhile as I have. At some stage, you may start looking at the game from a more experienced point of view - say realising the importance of consistancy, mana/power progression, chances of getting the cards you want etc over including everything that looks cool into your 90+ card monster deck. That's when it kicks into a new level of interest. Including probability theory might not seem as absurd, but there are probably too many variables to keep track off beyond simple events without going insane. Looking back at high school where I had the most fun - it's about the people you play the game with. Preferably they'll share the same focus as you do - whether it's to play just for fun or more serious players. I've mentioned previously that I'm in it mostly for the creativity and fun tricks so finding people who are into say constructing theme decks or budget decks might suit me better. Actually most of my experience with magic is theoretical deck building because I lack the resources to actually make them realities :"> I find it quite fun to look at the cards, think of interesting/fun interactions and build ideas around them. Can't say I've tried too many of them out. Most of the time I just see what kind of feedback I get from friends.

Hope you enjoyed you trip

Lol, the art always draws people in. @Eldar: Thanks! Check your inventory for what's valuable.
-
Me! *Raises hand* I'd suggest getting them checked out against what's valuable to traders. Since you're a good player you'll have an idea what's valuable - check out sites and see what people are trading and at how much. Unless you have some really really good stuff like Moxes or Power 9's (I think that's what they're called), Black Lotus' etc individual cards rarely go up beyond USD25 I think. Don't quote me on this - this is just what I glanced at some info. Plus, cards may actually deteriorate in value with time if they phase into the old block. Maybe not significantly but the possibility is there.
