  1. I hope you realize how stupid that sounds.
  2. Monte what books did you publish?
  3. Sarex replied to Tale's topic in Way Off-Topic
From their point of view it's probably, "are the American people that stupid".
  4. As I said, it's all in how you perceive it.
  5. That's a pretty big statement there.
  6. English is not my native language and I read it as fast as my native language (because I mostly read stuff in English).
  7. That is simply not happening, 90% of the people are offering constructive criticism. There are people who like to call out Josh, but never to call him stupid (which he is obviously not), only stubborn and sometimes arrogant. The bigger problem here is your perception of the criticism and people attacking people who have something negative to say.
  8. You are missing the point.
  9. I specifically said trash fights, maybe I should have bolded it.
  10. Well if they were tough they certainly didn't play the same way as in PoE. So it's pretty much down to picking you poison. Though I personally believe that trash fights in BG2 were easier then the ones in PoE.
  11. 1 to 2 weeks from the current one, or that is their plan at least.
  12. Crafting should be like it was in BG2. Hunting down pieces and forging them in to a whole. That was great and it served as a money sink.
  13. Did they not take inspiration from MMOs to appeal to the younger audience?
  14. My condolences.
  15. I just don't see it. I know what it is supposed to do, but it just seems bad to me. I don't think it's a balancing issue either.
  16. Heh, if I knew how to do this I would have been a game designer, but here goes nothing: In order of importance -Combat pacing, trash fights should be trash fights. You should not be required to micro manage so much for them(at all for a matter of fact). It will get tiring fast. -Scrap stamina, bring back healing. -Better AI. -More contrast between characters and the background. -IWD2 inventory. -Attributes need to have much larger impact on the game. -Change the xp system to something that is more finely distributed. Preferably go back to the IE system. -Dial back the numbers on everything. Values should be in the range of the IE games (health, damage, armor, will, etc.) -More ambient sounds This is all I can think off now.
  17. Not a theory but an opinion, my proof are Josh's own post.
  18. @nipsen This is simply not such a game, your druid will have to fight. He will even kill creatures of the forest.
  19. There is something to be said for chance, there is a reason Casinos are so successful. Then at least have the decency to not lie. Say "You are all toxic ****s I can be bothered to read this ****" and be done with it.
  20. They were playing on easy... That was the issue since I came to these forums, I think it's about time he fixes that. For petes sake he sees the guy who made this forum every day...
  21. Because you need something to fill empty areas, and there needs to be pacing in a game for it to be good, ie. for there to be hard encounters you need easy encounters.
  22. That is how trash mobs should play, I don't see a problem here.
  23. But their own devs played like that and rested the same as most of us.
  24. That could have been fixed, by having the rest rng stay the same no matter if you reload. Then you would have to fight and you would still have to risk it again by trying to rest again.
