There were no actual gods according POE1 lore that's why Engwithans created the artificial ones. And Engwithans created the Wheel along with reincarnation cycle according to POE2 retcon. So it is not known how the ef nobody died out before the Engwitnans, how it worked before the Wheel. So Eothas hopes that kith (animancers) will be able to create/fix the machine he's broken.

I think progression route that makes the most sense is this: -Fort Maje (all quests) -Deadlight (side quest) -Neketaka (main quest) -Hasongo (all quests) -Ashen Maw (main quest) After Ashen Maw next quest suggests gathering alliances and resources for the arduous journey so it starts to make sense to go out exploring and doing all side quests.

No, it is not known what was before Engwithans but it was clearly said in the game that the whole Wheel, not just In-Between, will be broken and souls won't go anywhere after the Beyond. And sooner or later Eora will die out because souls won't return to inhabit the bodies. It's a dumb ass mortal trial Eothas gives kith at the end - to fix the Wheel or to solve this problem another way, or die along with the gods.

I've made a bug report of all the bugs people have encountered with the relationship system: https://forums.obsid...ionship-system/ Feel free to add anything you think is a bug related to Xoti, Pallegina or other companions.

So, devs, are you gonna fix or at least acknowledge any of the numerous bugs that plague the relationship system right now? Here are the highlights I've collected from the forum: -Tekehu and Maia start their sexual advances dialogue with the Watcher way too soon, like literally almost right of the bat; -companions can initiate an automatic dialogue with the Watcher when they're outside the party. More details here; -Xoti throws a tantrum about how she hates Pallegina right after you recruit Pallegina into the party for the first time; -Aloth has conflicting dispositions (Autonomy & Stewardship) and it is very hard or nigh impossible to raise his approval to 2. More details here; -Xoti's approval, on the other hand, won't go below 0. More details here; -companions approval/disapproval of the Watcher seem to stop after some time spent in the party; -Xoti and Tekehu's endings slides are bugged because they show an extra slide implying the Watcher was their lover who then dumped them, even though the Watcher simply rebuked them during their sexual advances dialogue; -all companions have numerous instances of dialogue prompt icon showing up with no actual new dialogue; -can't trigger dialogue banter between Maia and Xoti after BoW release.

Nice, I've tried it and it works. I doubt devs will fix anything in ****ed up relationship system any time soon, so this exploit is as good as it gets to fix him. Certainly cleaner than using a mod or console command. And yea, I've seen the drunken crewmember event, but only when I aimed for mutiny achievement. It seems that if you keep the crew in bad morale bad events start to happen all the time.

Well, two-handers were definitely doing the biggest numbers in the beta, and some rogue's abilities only use primary attack. So if the guy wants to min/max and one shot enemies... Personally, I just can't picture rogues backstabbing people with big two-handed swords, so for me it's either single-handed or dual-wielding. As for Serafen I let his friend go and didn't snitch on him.

Need Help with Aloth !
Aramintai replied to E.RedMark's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
No, you should go look for island called Ori o Koiki, it's in the northwest. There he'll find what he's looking for. -
Way to min/max . What difficulty are you planning with these? I wouldn't drop INT so far if I were you - all of those lasting abilities, like invisibility ones will be very short. Also, if you're playing assassin you should watch your CON and get some CON raising items asap, and later Tough ability, because you'll receive extra 15% damage penalty. When I played on Classic I went with this: Might 16 Con 8 Dex 15 Per 16 Int 13 Resolve 10 As for weapons, if you're a min/maxer and not playing for fun you should go with two-handed swords, but they're slow so look for gear that reduces recovery time.

Fulvano's Voyage?
Aramintai replied to Tanred's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
All those islands are in the game. What are you complaining for? -
I don't know about reviews but I didn't particularly like POE2's main story because it was actually really short and because So for an RPG to have only one rather disappointing ending, all the unimportant side fluff aside, is really shameful in nowadays high RPG standards. Also, it didn't help that the ending was really confusing and basically retconed POE1 established lore without any coherent explanation. I made a post in spoilers section about it: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/98322-ending-spoilers-the-ending-is-really-confusing/

Well, I dunno about Concelhaut's skull, maybe you should have said something to him before killing him to get a skull? When I fought Nemnok his amulet fell off in battle and then when I talked to him I said something about him being too cute to be killed and it allowed me to take him as a pet. As for grimoires I seem to recall a southwestern island called Amira something and a crazy npc attacking me because she thought I'm there to steal a grimoire of storms(?), don't recall the exact name. Maybe that's the fourth one?

That's BS on his part, because it definitely seems that he singles out Watcher's jokes as being bad. Anyway there's barely anything he likes and even then it's a slow slog. Hmm, I've never got Aloth's having negative reaction at Watcher's jokes. Maybe its depends on what situation you are making jokes about or context of the jokes? I wish I knew, maybe if somebody tested how his rep changes with each joke through that Nexus mod we'd get more info as to what the ef is wrong with him.

It's not in Arkemyr's Manor. It's in a quest after you burgle it. Just wait for Arkemyr's return, you'll get an invitation. I completed game 100% and did all quests including killing Concelhaut as boss. Like I said, I didn't get him as pet loot. I didn't either get all four grimoires required for Nemnok's lost grimoires quest(since not all bosses dropped them what they were supposed to drop) so I instead just fought him <_< Just to note that I have it right, I had to load save after I completed one of bounty quests and on second time I defeated the bounty I didn't get unique flail I got first time around. I also noticed that bounties sometimes drop heads and sometimes not even if game always assumes you give head to turn in the bounty for money. In other words, yes, game has bug related to loot drops from corpses Did you loot him thoroughly? Did you check your inventory for his skull? Maybe you accidenatly sold it? I don't even know what lost grimoires you're talking about but I simply fought Nemnok and then got him as a pet through dialogue. Some loot is random. It's not a bug, it's just like it was in POE1. And some ships you raid don't have bounties on their heads.
