  1. That would have been ok if they flirted first, but here they want to get in your pants straight away skipping all the flirting and sense.
  2. POE1 was a mix of personal story that you had to resolve, tangled with bigger plot connected to local region troubles. Nothing epic, sort of like BG1, a low level pnp campaign. In POE2 Watchers are apparently the only people who can talk to the gods. If you refuse Berath she just tells you she'll find another Watcher to talk to Eothas. So you're chosen to be sort of a mediator between the gods. More epic, but nothing is resolved by you personally. While I like these types of more realistically toned down stories more than ridiculous epics of "The Chosen One" with superpowers, POE2's main plot sure is disappointing.
  3. But it is op though, sure, speed runner used invisibility to cheese out of fights, but if you play normally you can stay untouchable during fights and deal massive damage multiple times with backstab and assassinate.
  4. Well, POE1 sure felt longer, but I still shudder thinking about how much time was wasted waiting in loading screens there, ugh.
  5. Yes, people even make jokes that main plot feels like a prologue for the actual plot that never came.
  6. Too much unfinished business in POE2 ending, too many unexplored lands. So they better make another one.
  7. Cake is a lie, you know? Anyway, I've checked and yea, Eder has +5 Max Health boon. That's fine I guess, I didn't do it for the Dyrwood anyway, but for Pallegina to be pardoned by the ducs ending. It even imported properly, surprisingly, and she had an extra talk about it.
  8. Edér is supposed to have a HP bonus if you pick that. At least, that is what I read. Lol, that's it?
  9. Ugh, not 3D backgrounds - they will look waay uglier than hand made 2D. Modders are a tiny minority anyway, most of the players just want to play the vanilla and be awed by good graphics. White that Wends sounds very boring - dismal permafrost wasteland. I'm not against it being one of the destinations, but not for the whole game. I remember there was this cool quest in BG1 - party got teleported to the south pole into anti-magic prison with no obvious way to escape.
  10. Rogues are pretty fun to play in POE, especially in POE2.
  11. I chose Galawain to strengthen the souls of Dyrwood but didn't see any acknowledgement or boon either. I've heard there was supposed to be a Dyrwoodan trading expedition or something in the game, never encountered it.
  12. Wood elf. It all started with the portrait that I found way back in POE1 and a background story I made for it: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/99146-share-pictures-of-your-watcher/?p=2020300
  13. All I want is the the same rtwp isometric RPG, with the same protagonist and Living Lands as the next destination.
  14. Just grab Pallegina and somebody with high religion, go to one of those shrines littered across Deadfire (on Neketaka island, for example), identify the shrine and pray several times - it greatly pisses Pallegina off, so you'll get -2 quickly with her.
  15. I'm a female, so nobody shoving anything new into my head. But I guess it's pointless to disagree with LGBT's world view, all arguments end with me being conveniently accused a homophobe.
  16. Groan worthy, "honey" But I'm glad at least somebody is satisfied with how companions are written here.
  17. More about Aloth's conflicting dispositions: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/97310-companions-and-romance/?p=2020431 No matter whether he's being anti-Leaden Key or pro-Leaden Key he always has both Autonomy (freedom) and Stewardship (authoritarianism), which is not logical.
  18. That's why it's so weird to hear this "Engwithans created the Wheel" retcon in POE2, it conflicts with established POE1 lore.
  19. I see this tired old argument is very popular with you guys . I'll humor you once more - sexual relationships are relateable to the real world and people can't help by draw parallels and conclude that a dense congregation of LGBTs in a small group is not normal (and don't go with "LGBT circles attract" theory again, it's still not normal for a lot of people). Nobody can relate truly magical and fantastical stuff you mention to anything in the real world, so it doesn't break anybody's suspense of disbelief when we play or read fantasy, because we just accept it as imagined fiction. But you can't simply make people erase the real world parallels from their minds, so don't act so baffled when they won't treat "everyone is LGBT in this world" as acceptable imaginary fantasy. And, btw, it's not a norm even in the game, at least in some regions - when Xoti talks to the Watcher about Maia you can ask her why does she want her if in Readceras it's a norm only to form couples that provide offspring. And, in any case, it's sad that you're defending this lazy writing, because devs didn't make it just to please LGBTs, they did it because they were lazy to write companions more nuanced in their preferences.
  20. Maia brought it up in the very first automatic dialogue with me which happened within an hour since I recruited her. So yea, Xoti, Tekehu, Maia - that's most of the romanceable companions that try to get in our pants right off the bat.
  21. Principi achievement is bugged and mentioned in the known issues.
  22. Well, this in itself looks like a bug - shouldn't he have different dispositions for pro- and anti- Leaden key?
  23. My main is Myrra, a repenting dissident spy and assassin from Aedyr, who ran away to Dyrwood from the wrath of her contractors after failing to do a task too nefarious for her guts. She left that life behind her, but not her roguish tricks and attitude, she now tries to do good by people to ease her conscience:
  24. Yea, I've finished them in 30+ hours as well doing everything. The main plot took a very tiny part of that, most of the time I was exploring and doing side quests.
