  1. Latest beta patch update fixed the achievement. Should work on release version too when it comes out.
  2. Yea, that's a confirmed bug. He shouldn't have both.
  3. Agreed, I wish there was an option to mute the narrator. It really distracted me from reading all those walls of text at my own pace. POE1 narrator was way better, btw, female narrator overacts with drama.
  4. I've seen all the endings and all the factions are big douches to the natives and each other, but Vailian Republics Company at least are up front about it. Also, they're the best bet to fix the Wheel with their animancers. Capitalism rules. Also, I choose to stick by old buddies - siding with the Vailians makes Pallegina very happy. Going alone without factions is just as bad as going with Principi - chaos rules supreme in the region, everything is bad. Rauatai Royal Company are a bunch of pro-militaristic opportunists that think they can do a hostile takeover of the region with covert assassinations and big guns. Huana are stuck in their outdated traditions and abysmal caste system up their arse to see what's going on around them, they deserve to be conquered by more progressive nations.
  5. Btw, are there any other POE1 quest talents, aside from Blood Pool or the Gift of the Machine, that transfer to POE2? Like Scale-Breaker or Flick of the Wrist? I wouldn't be surprised if some are bugged currently and don't show up.
  6. And yet, in regards to romance, every other character doesn't seem to give a rat's ass about the player's gender, race, past history, and so forth, but suddenly when it comes to Eder then it's "Oh but he can't feel that way due to something totally irrelevant". To me it just seems like they didn't want to give in to the fans even when what they were going to "give in to" made complete sense and fit in perfectly. Particularly when all through the first game he was consistently the one who picked the Watcher up when they fell, woke them from bad dreams, and (along with Aloth) shows the growing emotional attachment over time. I understand that sometimes people may “just not be that into someone” tm... but he REALLY doesn’t act like a bro who has nothing but platonic possibilities towards the Watcher. Pallegina? Definitely. Most of the other companions in fact. But Edér and Aloth certainly show an emotional attachment that *could* be construed as ‘pre-romantic’ feelings. Well, devs gave in to something though - a cringy Eder/Iselmyr fanfic turned cruel joke, of all things . Just watch one of the videos I posted above.
  7. It's also a bug that will be fixed later. It's the same as Xoti having a spat with Pallegina immediately after you recruit her, or some companions starting sexual advances dialogue with the Watcher too early - whole relationship system is bugged.
  8. The flying purple spaghetti monster? If you picture Jesus like that, sure
  9. Btw, I checked with Rekke - you can actually talk to him and he somehow already learned Aedyran. You can give him the tablet and it's just some document about a horse, nothing interesting. Also, it turns out he's a missionary who sailed to Deadfire to teach about a God (not the Gods), but seeing his home is called Yezuha I can already image what god
  10. Those made me cringe too. Then there's his conversation with Tekehu about a practical joke which involved cruelty to some poor little fish, which Eder thinks is hilarious. Are fish not animals? What the heck, Eder? Yea, he sure can be a real dumb ass. Not only is he dense, which many people point out, but also lacks empathy it seems.
  11. It's his conflicting dispositions - Autonomy and Authoritarianism. He shouldn't have both. It's an import bug as was confirmed in the latest stream.
  12. There's this tablet that you can buy in Fort Maje (?) from one of the vendors: It kinda looked like Rekke's language. Never found a use for this tablet anywhere, or how to decipher it though. But then again, I wasn't using Rekke in my party at all, maybe there is way to give it to him.
  13. Also, it seems that you can teach Rekke to speak Aedyran somehow. Maybe with the help of those cryptic tablets that you can buy...
  14. Since we're all waiting for companions bugs to be fixed may as well just listen to all their datamined banter on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpE_3Z-CImGu628WeiBRiRLajVknmksUa There are also dialogues between companions and all their endings. I'm glad I helped Aloth deal with his Awakening by sublimating that obnoxious Iselmyr character - some of Eder's jokes about him with Iselmyr are just cruel and cringy. No wonder he's uncomfortable around people, who wouldn't be with her constantly messing around.
  15. Yea, I was planning on starting a second run after the patch, but with companions still screwed I'm not sure I will. There are so many bugs they plan on fixing may as well return after a month or two.
  16. First patch will come out later this week according to latest stream.
  17. Devs answered a bunch of questions in the latest stream. Disposition system will have some fixes in the next patch (which allegedly won't come until the end of the week) and it will somewhat affect the companions, companions relationship bugs will be addressed later, Aloth having both Autonomy and Authoritarianism dispositions is indeed a bug related to save importing.
  18. Looks like disposition bugs are gonna be somewhat addressed in the next patch according to the latest stream.

  20. Nice! So she's a sidekick after all
  21. Doesn't work with Furrante either. Doesn't work. Period.
  22. It really isn't, because those locations are pretty short and many fights can be avoided.
  23. Factions are side quests. Critical path is you following Eothas, so it's
  24. I loved how long BG2 was in general and how long the critical path was. It was just right for an RPG, nothing felt as a filler. Persona 5 is so long because it's linear and practically everything there is critical path, aside from Mementos, but even those are tied to the main plot.
