I was wondering a similar thing. Will a Paladin NPC AI be smart enough to know when to heal or activate auras? Most likely, those type of functions will require some micro.

Im a remorseless save and reload machine. Heres another crazy one I do. If even one party member dies during combat I will reload and replay the battle just because I want every party member to survive every encounter. You don't earn XP face down on the dungeon floor. No doubt saving should be restricted to once every 24 hours real time to save me from myself.

That's awesome and I support your ability to play the game the way you want to. All of that has been in your direct control for all IE games. If only we all had the same opinion of enjoyable as you do we wouldn't have to create disincentives.

I like the attention to detail. I trust, since this will be read, that spelling among the different areas inhabitants will be the same? For example, I cant say I would have noticed that "bæl" vs. "BAY-ul" are both describing Bael River.

How will we even know how the words are supposed to be pronounced? Unless they are verbalized in-game wont it be as always, the players will come up with whatever sounds right in their heads.

From what I currently understand of PE, the one and only way to replenish Health and remove "disabilities" is via resting. In the PE universe that makes resting king of all other mechanics and cant possibly be removed without a complete revamp of PE lore. By having Health and ability replenishment and spell replenishment tied to this lone mechanic they have really painted themselves into a corner.

I wouldn't mind equipment sets either. Something like a set that gets more powerful the more of it you find.

Im a big fan of class restricted equipment. Theres no good/evil in PE so perhaps it would just be called the Avenger?

I stand corrected. So Accuracy can be presumed to be the equivalent of "+ to hit" and Defense would be equivalent to armor class? The Accuracy increase I suppose I can hand wave and say sure, you should be more accurate as you level up (gain skill in battle) but how to explain having better defense due to level up? Is my plate armor better now that Im level 10 as opposed to level 9? Do you have any other links showing details to this system?

I think its already planned to be in the game. Iirc, one of the devs said that enemies can perform a coup de gras on any unconscious party members so perhaps we can do the same? Im not sure of this though. Also, as you probably already know, there is only a 5% of missing anyway regardless of level differences so you probably wont get frustrated by that.

I know you said high profile games, but do you think the recent trend of Kickstarter games being released DRM free on GoG will change this?
