I don't have Dota2 either but I don't want to be a free game hog. If you have one left over after everything washes out, I would be interested. I don't have any of the previous Dota's either so if they are required you can eliminate me.

Modern wars
I thought it was pretty funny that it was a test fired from a static plane suspended 2 feet off the ground. I wonder what they were testing, that things still explode?

Inventory management
That's a good question. I also wonder how it will affect diplomacy based characters. I guess not at all since it specifically states "combat penalties". Maybe just some flat negative modifier to their Diplomacy skill?

Not to worry, of course there's already a built in penalty. Im not sure how/what "overflow" works in a two bag system but:

Inventory management
A patient player can do this in any IE game as well (barring areas you can't return to). I don't think our economy should be balanced around the expectation that players are impatient. It might be interesting if the weight of your stash effected your overland movement rate, which in turn modified the likelihood of an encounter with bandits, robbers, or hungry beasts. Large loads might also attract the interest of tax collectors, who would want a cut of the loot, or the toll gates of lords who are looking to equip their own militia. Hold up. Unlimited inventory sprang forth to stomp out the scourge of degeneratively walking back and forth to collect loot. Now we have to add more penalties to the mechanic because people will be carrying everything not nailed down?

Sounds like a ligament.- What you did today
I learned how to drive a manual transmission on the way home from buying my first car ever, a 1979 Trans Am. Had am impromptu party break out at my house on Sunday. Was pulling into my driveway when I noticed one of my neighbors standing outside his garage. Invited him over for a beer and the next thing I know were BBQ-ing and polishing off a bottle of tequila among four people. The night ended with his wife literally face down on my dining room table. Good times.- What are you playing now?
Been playing Van Helsing and am level 15 now. Got my secret lair which is its own little mini game and its fun in its upgrading / trap building. Went for a pure range dps build following through to the Scattershot ability but the range is so low Im thinking of respec into the poison and fire tree. Built my character under the "online" section so if anyone want to MP, let me know.- What are you playing now?
- Inventory management
So theres really only two inventory bags and they are both shared, right? One Stash and one Pack. That does make it cleaner than clicking through each party members individual bags. I hope the Pack is suitably large to account for supplying 6 people.- What you did today

Let's all just not address opinions that aren't already our own. That seems ultra-constructive in a discussion. But, hey... to each his own. What? Your opinion seemed to mirror mine so there was no point in addressing it. I too feel the player should be able to play without limitation. I really dont want to have to dissect this conversation 25 times so if thats not what you meant then please restate. A tl;dr version would be appreciated.- Limiting rest areas
Absolutely. I post here from work so Ive got (almost) unlimited time to joust. You will have my attention until 5:00pm-ish or until I bore of you. If this is your opinion then Im not even addressing you.- Limiting rest areas
Rofl, talk about self fulfilling prophesy. Im not going to get drawn into your rudimentary circular argument technique. Nobody cares what Trashman thinks is fun just as nobody cares what I think is fun, its up to the individual player. One method allows that, the other does not. Ah, moving the goalposts again. Whether or not it was a cheat is irrelevant. You claim the mere existence of a capability breaks the game and I showed that is not the case. People could choose to use that function, or not, and unsurprisingly the sky didn't fall.- What should a female breastplate really look like

There is no accounting for individuals stupidity. Are you aware that BG2 + expansions literally had an "I win" button built into the game(Ctrl+Y)? That's right, you could hover your cursor over any mook or boss and instantly kill them with a keystroke. Yet somehow the game was one of the best ever produced. Weird huh?- Limiting rest areas
Which is beside the point. You're asking the player to compensate for bad design. Why should he? You might as well add a "I win" bottun and then claim it is brilliant design because it makes it easier on the players. After all, you don't have to click it. The fact that it compeltely undermines the entire purpose of the game is irrelevant to you? The purpose of gaming is to have fun, not to play the game exactly as TrashMan would play his game. One option gives everyone the power to play as they like, the other does not. All this "I win" button crapola you guys keep spouting is just background noise. You play your way, Ill play mine.- What you did today
Kinda looks like chicken pox. Glad it wasn't serious.- What you did today
