Heh, not everyone is cut out for being in the military. Easily 25% of my bootcamp class washed out, and thats the Navy bootcamp. For the love of FSM, we didnt even have obstacle courses! People were breaking left, right and center just being mentally broken down and rebuilt.

Lol, we wanted to use it, there just wasnt anything in our normal dinner routine that called for basil. It was pretty low maintenance so I was happy to keep it as a houseplant. Now the tomato plants...theyre finicky (and thirsty) so I have to keep an eye on them. Im also think theres a nearby drey and Im worried the squirrels will get to them before I can.

Thats reminds me! Ive discovered four little tomato bulbs blooming on my Beefsteak tomato plants so far. w00t! My basil plant got so big, and we never harvested a single leaf, that my wife gave it to a coworker. Had to be 18" tall and started to flower on the top.
