I remember honing poor posture skills in the mid-late eighties in front of an Apple IIGS, playing Marble Madness, a killer WWII-Pacific game called Wings of Fury, and an obscure adventure game, Dream Zone, developed by the same people who would go on to form Naughty Dog. Before that, it was all Atari, all the time, except for the green Mattel handheld football game ... beep beep .. beep .. beep beep beep In less than two weeks, I'll turn for&*%#@two. Edit: Oh, wait, and California Games, on the IIGS. I remember thinking, damn those coast hippies, playing hacky, surfing, skating, doing all this fun stuff 'cause it never snows down there, unlike up here, in the mountains, the rocky Rockies. Now look at me, a god damn coast hippie.

Wow, the map looks great ... satellite-accurate, nice art style. I'm on it. Edit: Not a huge file size, it's 685 mega mcgoos. If I can stay awake, I'll start a ga

That was a big update. Started again with all assault rifles and a tag-a-long goat. Everyone has the right skills, no one is setting off alarms or booby traps, and guns haven't jammed once! Twice as fun as three weeks ago.

I've never played a game with better-timed, more appropriately glib f-bombs from a 14-year old female. "**** those guys ..." I was like, yeah, you tell 'em, kid!

mmm, blood-orange mimosas ... sounds tasty and comforting after today's football woes. Unfortunately, I have neither champagne nor oranges, so beer it is.

Unrelated, and I don't know which one, obviously, but I think they showed Shady's building in a panorama shot from Mile-High, just now.

What you've been drinking lately.

Heh, liquid aloha. First time with Kona Brewing 'Longboard Island Lager'. Pretty clean, good, neutral flavor. The bottle itself has a groovy shape with the Hawaiian islands raised on the glass neck. Tastes like it would go great with fish ... coincidence?!- 530 replies

Not a grace period, what we need is more self-confidence, the power to Like our own posts. If you don't love yourself, no one else will, right, makes sense.

I saw the Ocean's 11 episode, the show is not at all as super cereal as it was promoted to be. Funny and wacky, at least.

Drama and games journalism, soggy leg joint edition
ManifestedISO replied to Tale's topic in Way Off-Topic
I'm hip to counter culture, but I have no idea what the hell a soggy leg joint is. -
A question for any Catholic forum members
ManifestedISO replied to Monte Carlo's topic in Way Off-Topic
Oops, yeah, I used a terrible analogy. Paintings are for sissies and the French. Let me try again. So, is future-Catholicism going to be the diesel tank engine driving the story, or the weapon load-out for individual ninja assassins. How's that, better ... -
A question for any Catholic forum members
ManifestedISO replied to Monte Carlo's topic in Way Off-Topic
Huh, the specificity of the question is interesting. If this project were a painting, is future-Catholicism the canvas, or color-work to illustrate the subject. -
No, I got on the wagon when Junior was still himself. Edit: er, now I see the emoti-wink ... jeez, I'm all Mr. Serious Pants today ... must have been the "burrito" from Jack In The Box I ate, all of.

I wish DC would stop trying so hard to ignore what makes the rival MCU so fun and interesting and memorable.

Whew, The Flash and SHIELD are engaging me at the highest level, that of the edge of my seat. Both shows this week have a slo-mo scene, each handing someone's ass to them. Grab a napkin, villain, you just got served a backward half-twist somersault head slam.

Geez, all I wanted was a t-shirt ... a fun, new team logo to celebrate five consecutive. God forbid the mule train from Pakistan must have broke down, the official online NFL shop never seems to have good designs stocked in normal sizes. I thought maybe it was just my team, but no, others don't have richard, either (yeah, that's right, I checked America's Team). Even the groovy navy flip-flops I wanted are gone in my size, too, cripes. The shirt I did get, was only available in one size, my Medium, but the listing vanished the next day, so, great, I'm probably getting somebody else's return item--too small to fit his man-boobs inside, forced in desperation to buy a smaller size, thanks to the goddamn broken-down mule train. I would just like to thank the men and women of America's armed forces for giving me the freedom to complain about this ... god bless you. Tell you what, though, the Chargers have the best team colors ever ... navy, white, gold, powder blue. Got a new window sticker, at least. Welcome to town, Kansas City ... ZAP BZZZT

Uncomfortable chairs ... that's all you people remember ... jesus, my roots were too long, the surgeon had to section each one with a grinder. And the cracking/popping noise of the extraction still wakes me up at night. He did give me some free graft material, for the jawbone, since he said I was such a model patient. Which I guess means not passing out and/or screaming. Edit: woops, yeah, come back soon and safe, Woldan.
