Nice, I'm gonna character-create Frank Castle and Punish the Inquisition.

I appreciate turn-based maneuvers, even though it too strongly resembles wait-and-see conveyor-belt combat. -
I did it. I totally asked for the green Kickstarter power badge to activate. I thought I didn't want it visible, but, since I was there, two years ago, at Woodstock, with Green Shirt Girl, I want the world to know.

Statism - the fundamental dysfunction of our world

Far from shallow. I'm sure she would be lucky to have you. Work dynamics can be dangerously exciting, I say go for it. -
Right, exactly, imagine a developer death march through the holidays. No one wants that. I don't want to force good people to suffer. Enjoy the winter break. Come back with fresh eyes and new energy, please.

You're right, but Dags was parroting his handlers' indictment of the U.S. government. Seems weird, I know. Edit: Wait, I'm sorry, so did anything come of the Nerf babe. Is that inappropriate, nevermind. -
Free posts, like those long, salty fries let fallen beneath the Whopper with cheese in the bag on the passenger seat.

Don't get to say this often, enough, but you are as wrong as it is possible to be. -

Respect threads, is what comic nerds call 'em. -

Beyond pessimism, that's picking nits like a crazed man-bear-pig. -
Was never engaged so completely all year but within The Last of Us Remastered.

What you've been drinking lately.

Popped a chardonnay with an actual corkscrew. Twist, twist, twist, set, lift, pull. The occasion is to mark six days free of the vile brown leaf. The first since 1996. The sense of freedom eclipses everything.- 530 replies

Saw this in the new Bucky Barnes comic: "Simplicity, Patience, Compassion ... these three are your greatest treasures. Simple in actions and thoughts--you return to the source of being. Patient with both friends and enemies--you accord with the way things are. Compassionate towards yourself--you reconcile all beings in the world." Works when applied to a game delay ... am still waiting to see if it helps me reconcile how badly people drive. -
Correct. Except the table cloths are red, white, and blue.

I see you have escaped the matrix of video game journalistic statism.

Not to beat this thing, but now I see one explanation claiming the name is to avoid issues with older versions, specifically Win95 and 98, which used Win9x as file names, or some such.
-
I know, it's supposed to be called Win9. The guy even makes a joke about "one OS to rule them all," but they're going for double digits.

Aww, jeez. Hey, Obsidian, I live pretty close to Irvine, in case that's where my T-shirt add-ons originate ... let me know, I'll totally run up there and grab them ... you won't have to mail them to Sweden first or anything. I could stop by the Spectrum, get some noodles, maybe a latte.
-
It appears to be the official name, but of course we never know. This is the quote I saw yesterday at Polygon: Maybe internally the tablet version of 8 was regarded as "9". Who knows.

Dude is a modern-day Albert Bierstadt. This piece was inspired by a still from the movie, Once Upon a Time in the West, which in turn inspired Lucas originally. You can see that frame here. The artist's name is Joshua Viers, check out his page, you'll see what I mean about the Hudson River School comparisons.

Touché. Or in this case, tushy.

Bricks, what, no. A hard ass needs a soft pad, sometimes, like a reward for being so firm. I just put down for a captain's chair lounger, a recliner with ottoman so comfortable, I can't stay in it too long or I'll Rip Van Winkle.

The doctor takes them to make a cure, or something.

Would you log in as yourself to acknowledge a stalker thread? No, no you would not. Happy Birthday, anyway, if things like noticing one's initial success at bio-automation and self-awareness are important. I think it is. Imagine, any other species that marked their own birth. Maybe it was a dinosaur ... returning every year to the beach where it first broke out of the egg. What if it dropped the bone of a prey item, each time, effectively counting its own age.

Oh, for the love of ... christ, what else is actionable. If it makes you feel better, I shot one with my plasma gun and cut up another with my knife before figuring that out. Makes me feel worse, actually, since all of those scientists died horribly while I watched, standing, waiting for a prompt. At least you figured out there's a skill to save them with ... I just let 'em die. Meta game ... I don't can has it.
