I thought you meant the game engine. I was all, what happened. Should be meteoritic fall, I think, if that's even a word.

What you did today
Same here, never failed before, until last week when the Service Engine Soon light lit up, the same month registration is due. It's like they plan it this way. Had to replace an oxygen sensor to pass. $350 plus the price of the test. Now I'm extra super duper pumped my brother gifted me a copy of Inquisition. Heck yeah, bro.

The Official Romance Thread
It's true, Ferrari had an objectively dismal season this year. Or is that comparatively ... I can't be sure, my subjectivity is clouded with tearful disappointment in the Scuderia. Next year will just be worse, thanks to Klaus Von Dummkopf signing on.

What you did today
I about lost it watching this yesterday during the game. Thanks, and happy birthday to you, too.

NFL 2014 Season
Can't they make it an option, like the SAP button, toggling the superimposed first-down line for duffers who miss the drama of not knowing immediately. Am I too old now, get off my lawn.

Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Announced
Yeah, I don't know why it feels brutal. Each character has the best found weapons, armor, and spells equipped and memorized: paladin, fighter, monk, thief, cleric, and wild mage. On the other hand, I never use pre-fight protection buffs, spells or potions. I'm on the second level of the Severed Hand tower where Shadow Goblins, Shadow Ogres, and other mobs swarm like crazy. Just doesn't seem as fun as I remember having to Rest after every encounter. I had to settle for two Raise Dead spells after the final battle with Yxunomei in Dragon's Eye.

Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Announced
Core, just the regular D&D Hardcore. No modifiers to XP or damage. I don't understand why the dungeon is so clean now, since mobs of elite enemies are wiping the floor with my 6th/7th-level characters. I'm in the Dragon's Eye dungeon, working the fifth level ... the Yuan-ti High Archer and his six buddies are laser-guided missile-launching death machines. The masochistic elements ... if you don't disarm the poison trap outside his lair, since your whole party made it this far without antidotes, death is swift and laughs at your lack of preparedness.

Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Announced
I was wrong, it's not a hard game, it's an insanity burrito wrapped in isometric masochism. Dark Souls stole the idea for Prepare to Die from Icewind Dale.

Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Announced
Trolls, gangs of trolls, slumming the dungeons with spellcasters guaranteed to Hold your Person. Almost no loot and absolutely zero fire/acid items in this level. Next one down, two dozen cold wights, a temple guardian, and a pot-shooting bastard skeleton jump your party at the doorstep and made minced meat of six characters. This game is hard.

I'd buy it. At least, thank god, they didn't call the N7 armor N10 or N11.

Wasteland 2
I wish my download speed would kumbaya this big ass update a little faster. LOST characters, great idea. Do the obscure ones, Paulo and Nikki, Girl-In-Blue-Striped-Shirt, Arzt, Tom, Minkowski, Keamy for sure am I still talking it's because I enjoyed the show. Obtuseness is a real word, I checked.

PoE cosmology
ManifestedISO replied to Dark_Ansem's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Dragonlance was so full of tropes that the sum of its parts became unique. Also, best character sets and pantheon anywhere.

Movies you've seen recently
Hoo yeah, new character reveal and literal eating of bollocks in twenty-five extra minutes of extended Desolation of Smaug. The story makes a great deal more sense. Plus Peter and Philippa do a commentary track and we get two new Appendices, Parts 9 and 10. No work tomorrow, all Hobbit, all day.

Build Thread
It's here now, and it's worse. The new one, I mean. Tried an Asus, it has a weird yellow halo around the sides and top of the screen, like improper backlighting or something. Can't tell if it is a defect or just poor quality. Probably both. If you want a good display, don't shop below a certain price threshold, I guess, even on sale. That threshold seems to be about <$200.
