  1. Arrggg can't take reading through all those crap questions anymore, please tell if they answer any interesting ones.
  2. Thanks for the info, anyone else hate reddit as medium? Almost as much as I hate twitter and facebook.
  3. I wouldn't mind an extra race or two if they over the 3.5 million mark by enough. We'll see, the 3.5 million goal is first.
  4. Okay I think I have an idea of my first party now. PC Godlike Priest (multiclass cipher or chanter if possible, Amaua Rogue (think a larger Captain Jack Sparrow), Orlan Druid mc Monk if possible, Elf Paladin mc Barbarian if possible, Godlike Chanter, Godlike Cipher.
  5. I read thier discription of the Rogue and they seem to be going way beyond the traditional Rogue, like applying soul venom, and meanting varied archtypes the seem to have a economic class/profession feel to them, like Courtesan, Diplomat, and Aristrocrat.
  6. Wow didn't know Jesus,Christ was a Furry, boy did i have Christianity pegged wrong
  7. Is boob plated armour, plate armour shaped to have boobs, or plate armour made from boobs, because the latter would be creepy, but awesome in a horror novel sort of way.
  8. If we use Forton as an example, while he does use martial arts obviously he seems to dip into a larger part of monastic traditions, such as spiritual exploration via altered states of,conciousness achieved via mind altering drugs and self mortifaction. While martial arts is a given for the Monk class, monks without it would cause a backlash from those that love it, it doesn't mean they can't borrow from other types of Monks or even wider Monastic traditions like Sufis, some types of Hierodules might resemble monks more then priests. Btw the technical term for female monks is nuns.
  9. Any subraces you guys really want to see in the game? I'm especially looking forward to the Orlan, Aumaua, and Godlike subraces, but I have a few interesting ideas for the other races. One idea is a for an Elvish Jungle subrace that has a mutualistic relationship with another species, like Elven Trill, but different. A subrace of Godlike made by whatever Un/Death God that temple in the screen shot depicted. A subrace of Desert Dwarves that retain water in thier beards. An Urban subrace of Orlan with a long history of Ciphers (think the Blues subrace of Goblins). A subrace of Godlike liked by nature Gods, with different animal features. A subrace of Aumaua that plays to Selkie mythology somewhat. A subrace of Aumaua that evolved from Pirates. Blue skinned Artic Orlans. And of course the thorny issue of human subraces, a contraversial discussion amoung DnD next fans as well. Any ideas on how to handle that? I do have one idea for a swamp subrace human (alternately it could be Elven), that largely subsist on a species that causes thier skin to glow in the dark, kind of how the diet of the Pink Flamingo is the cause of thier pink feathers. Only they've been feeding on this source of food so long the effect is permant, even without it. They'd use the glowing in a more advanced means of communication like fire flies. Of course another way to handle human subraces, is to count humans with inhuman blood as subraces, like Half Elves, Half Orcs, Half Orlans, Damphirs, and so on.
  10. I think you meant 3 million reached, 3 million breached sounds dirty
  11. As far as I can tell the Tomes are like enchanted text books on formula to manipulate the anatomy of ones Soul. Really I figure that the enchantments on them are to help with the magic formulas which are too hard for even the Wizard to solve without the help of the enchantment. Its kind of like math that so complex that a mathmatician needs a computers help to solve them. As dupicate spells problem, your old reliable will likely be an atwill spell you don't need a Tome for. You'll probably also have one or two prefered Tomes and the others will be situational and if you really need to you can switch Tomes in combat so I don't think you need a copy of a Spell in every Tome. I mean you can fire off an at will spell while switching so if you really need that spell its always avialable (as long as you still have the spell level uses).
  12. They could take ideas from how D&D next 5e plans to do multiclassing. When picking your first class things are more front loaded, when taking a level in any other class the progression is different, less front loaded. Basically treating multiclassing like a Prestige Class/es. Personally I kind of want to be either Priest or Chanter multiclassed with Cipher.
  13. I have the perfect location for the stronghold. The Castle above the endless paths Megadungeon, various quests within the Dungeon can have benifits to the Keep aboves, you can tie to the two together! Out of curiousity does Stronghold replace the player house or is it in addition to it?
  14. Orlans sound more like a people with a history of being victimized and desided to fight back, but maybe innocent people got hurt and,the Orlan take the blame instead of the bullies that tormented them. The Orlan probably weren't always like they.
  15. If it continues everyone benifits, we get more stuff and people who had the misfortune of not being able to particapate get a second chance as do those who wish to upgrade. We need to think of the needs of the many, instead of the ego of a few, especially since it benifits them.
  16. Leotards would be stupid... female loincloths is the way to go! Wet T-Shirts thats the way to go.
  17. I disagree I want quest markers, I like knowing where I'm going and where to find find it, and I like minimaps. Nothing is more frustrating then wondering in cicles lost or searching forever to find an in game. Still one of the nows modes for hard core gamers I believe will likely do that, the one that removes tool tips.
  18. Aumaua sounds interesting. A Maritime culture, bipedial/humaniod and bigger then humans. Prefers coastal areas and islands. We have the sixth race. What they look like beyond that I don't know. I keep picturing Squid face from pirates of the caribbean movies only bigger.
  19. I hope in the next update they reveal the 6th race and more about the other races and the Monk, Druid, and Ranger.
  20. You read my mind, its like a balding version of him, but I changed my mind, I don't think he's one of the Godlike.
  21. And the hairy ears.... I'm having trouble picturing that looking decent. Or something like furry ears that you might see on... Catgirls/boys. Neither of which seem terribly appealing. I doubt they'd come up with something that looked awful and terribly out of place in the setting though, so I'm guessing they simply have a lot more imagination than I. I certainly look forward to finally seeing what this, the other mysterious race and the Godlike races look like. Honestly, I'm cringing every time "furry" is mentioned in the context of PE. Please, Obsidian. Don't endeavour to attract.... THEM. Its not my bag, but don't be so judgemental, everyone entitled to thier fantasies. I don't think they'll be furries, the only unusual spot that sounds furry is the ears (I hoping the outside of the ears, I'd rather not play something resembling Grand Nagus Zek . I'm thinking of the sixth race, maybe a race made by wizard experiments, with each subrace a different, experiment. As for Godlike I thought they were multiple races too because they initially said races, but since then they've refered to them as a singular race, so I think they ment subraces, although I do expect the Godlike to be the most diverse race in respect to subraces. Ironically I think if they is a Cat like race it will be a subrace of Godlike, that is liked by a Cat Goddess, like Sharess. Although I think the monk in that picture of the companions is a Godlike. I'm dying to find out the sixth race.
