  4. Ah I see, yeah I thought they were still 5% like they were in PoE 1, anyway just think these +% aoe gears not worth it unless u cannot find +INT ones.
  5. When is this changed? I know in Deadfire INT doesn't increase radius of AOE, but real AOE size, so this change is to make INT more consistent with the PoE 1 version. Good they buff INT, but also means ring of oversee that +10% AOE only equals to +1 INT, same as Aloth's leather armor, which equals to 1.5 INT I think Obs forget to change these +% AOE gears to make them match +INT ones... Also Monk with Duality of Mortal Presence provides pretty decent AOE bonus now. Good for any caster hybrid builds!
  6. Well, knockdown has been nerfed as an effect and it is little more then an interrupt now. There are some weapons which trigger it. Ball and Chain and Rust's Poignard come to mind. The latter even has a special, 10 second, version. In general those effects are quite rare. On the other hand, there are weapons with aoe effects (blunderbuss mortars, Whispers of the Endless Paths greatsword, Wahai Poraga pollaxe, rods with modal), which can deliver special attacks, such as monk's Stunning Blow, Rogue's Blinding and Crippling Strike, Fighter's Knockdown (not on ranged), various DoTs, to multiple enemies. These are not quite rare, ball and chain is 100% to knockdown on crit, and since PoE2 boss doesn’t have very high deflection, it was very easy to knockdown chain them in last patch since no boss immune to knockdown, not sure if it still works now because it seems ball and chain has a fortitude check on knockdown? Still available to rangers anyway because their high acc. Hmm, looks like Ball and Chain does 100 percent knockdown on upgrade indeed. Does this mean a Flail build is ideal for a CC melee tank build? What other really high CC chance weapons are there? Ball and Chain could be very high chance, assuming I can get crit percent high (and I assume I can do that, unless the crit chance mechanic has changed much since PoE 1). Probably Magistrate's Cudgel if you are a cipher/ranger or figher/ranger, it has sweet +10 accuracy and chance to stun on crit. I'm not sure about the chance of stun, probably 30% or 50%, still a good combo with ball&chain. Another choice is single hand ball&chain or use a gun in offhand, thus way u either have higher acc to land CC or faster and don't waste chance to attack with offhand weapon.

  9. In the game's "attacks" gamedatabundle find the ability with the animation you want to change, and copy the whole thing. Paste it in your .gamedatabundle where the X is above. Back in the attacks.gamedatabundle find the ability that matches how you want the animation to look, and copy the attackvariation ID. Paste that over the attackvariation ID in your .gamedatabundle. Load the game up and try using the ability. All being well it'll have the new animation. Cannot create .gamedatabundle, or u mean attacks.gamedatabundle?

  12. Nah I just think they are fine comparing with vanilla druid. I think subclass is a subclass, it provides u another option beside the original class, it is NOT a prestige class in dnd.
  13. I don't think WotEP's aoe attack will trigger Swift Flurry and Heartbeat Drumming, at least in version 1.x i tested it and it doens't trigger extra hits.

  15. We have so many greatswords but none of them are mentioned here But yeah I admit they are pretty bad and boring comparing with these new gears we have now.

That not about infinity resource, but more about defenses/regeneration/armor stacking, for example I checked all boss pen and on PotD they have in 17 - 18.5 interval, which mean if you can stack 21 armor you will be invincibly (why invincible ? because -75% Damage mean -300% real damage, is you make double inversion), and .... ONLY PALADIN has +3 PASSIVE armor, that why you need only equip heavy armor, pick small monk shield and start step by step destroy game content Paladin also has ~12 - 15 passive bonus to all defenses High armor doesn't means you are immortal.

Important things need to be repeated 3 times Imo old trickster is fine as a subclass, but many players complain it's so bad that they overtuned it. Now there is no reason take vanilla rogue because who cares the 10% damage difference? You get so many awesome spell-like abilities blah, bad design imo. Same as Biting Whip VS Draining Whip, it's 10% flat damage bonus trade with significant focus growth. Anyone who has some game knowledge will know which to pick, I think Obs has a very weird attitude toward damage bonus, on one hand they make some ability purely bad, like fighter weapon specialization and weapon master, which makes me think they overvalue damage bonus. But, on other hand, they give streetfighter +50% damage bonus when bloodied or flank. Do they know how many weapon master that worth? The bonus worths 10 Weapon master or 5 Weapon specialization... Street fighter is the only one I feel is super overtuned. Trickster has lots of spells, but they have a cost and some aren't that great, like Confusion. Well when 'have a cost' becomes a drawback? Every ability/spell has a cost, and these trickster illusion abilities have quite low cost imo. And yes Confusion is bad, but u also get these very good ones, like mirror image, wall of many color, u are not forced to use confusion. I don't see why these are a reason they are not powerful. Trickster >> vanilla rogue with very minor trade, -10% sneak attack damage bonus.
  18. I did a lot of tests and found next pattern, 1. I can kill any bosses/fights except BoW dragon with my Priest/Monk build, but to kill that boss I need at least 2 scrolls, because it has 5500HP and I simple can't do so much damage, on other side I can use 2 additional scrolls and kill him without problems 2. I can switch on Paladin/(Streetfighter, Chanter) build and clear all fights even without consumables, only food and no-rest bonuses, for example I done run with Paladin/Chanter with all God Challenges (even with Magran)... 3. If I pick second character game become to cakewalk So the question is ? If it stupid to use 2 scrolls in BoW fight or play entire game with dumb build or just pick 2 characters and never use consumables, rest and other bonuses ? That why I hate POE 2, TSC - Obsidian introduce this mod as official challenge, but to do you need to pick dumb class (which completely remove challenge from the game), I like their TSC in PoE 1 and even complete it with Barbarian and Wizard but now it just feel weird Yeah pure meatshield for boss is bad, I like the PoE 1 dragons where they have very high defense, but not so much hp. In Winter of Beast, it forces u to pick these classes with infinite resource, otherwise u will need to use consumables or can only auto attack.

  20. Duality of Mortal Presence is treated as an active ability, thus based on DF rules, bonus from active ability doesn't stack.
  21. Dunno, I think there are 3 kind of abilities(or maybe more I'm not sure). First is weapon abilities, you need to performance it with weapon or fist, the second type is spells, which will be affected by Barb mage slayer. Third one is spell-like ability, like Sacred Immolation, which is neither a weapon ability non a spell... So any +% bonus to spell gears don't affect these. Maybe the ghostblade of Engoliero triggers on type 1 and 3?
