  1. A very sensible suggestion. Less weapons are affected that way, otherwise you'd risk creating new imbalances. This suggestion is also historically accurate as well. The Sabre came into its own as a cavalry weapon because the curved blade works well with the draw cut, whereas the battle ax was typically used with the shield (see Battle of Hastings).
  2. Thank you for creating this game. I found it an enjoyable experience, with some interesting plot twists and turns. Play-wise, it had a lot of nice features; I particularly liked the rest system, the Marshal's bounty approach to combat-only quests, fast and slow modes, area looting, crafting, and the dual damage track. The epilogue summary was a nice touch. The characters all made enjoyable company, albeit less banterous than I would have liked, and the main villain was well thought out.
  3. That ('f') is hilarious! Thanks for the laugh.
  4. Perhaps there's an easter egg or two hidden among the backer NPC vignettes?
  5. Yep it wrapped up for me at level 11, but then I wasn't doing a completionist play-through. (It is a nice touch that they remind you of what you left unfinished.)
  6. Yes, I was expecting something interesting to happen when I enabled the forges. It's nice to know they do something, even if I only found out by reading comments from other players.
  7. Yep. It went away for a long while then came back on a couple of characters.
  8. Yep, it becomes a definite nuisance if you lay it down close to your front line.
  9. Putin? Is that you, bro? Nice of you to visit.
  10. My ranged rogue PC has the highest cumulative damage total in the party, and I'm not even laying traps. He's been a lot of fun to play, so I'm unclear why the class needs to be improved.
  11. As long as we don't have to sit through Weekend at Bernie's....
  12. I'm wondering why there aren't any cod pieces? It seems like a huge lapse in attention to detail. My rogue character feels almost naked walking around without his warm leather cod piece of +4 might.
  13. Too bad you can't let your pets roam free in Brighthollow. They'd bring some life to the place.
  14. For me, the hobble ability of Wall of Force can be quite useful in a large battle when you want to temporarily hold up reserves and keep them from flanking your party. Laying down a Wall of Flame on top of a Wall of Force is just nasty.
  15. I'm with the above opinions: the current suite of classes seems fine. I don't even think they need to add multi-classing. More diversity of skills, talents, backgrounds, and perhaps a new race would be good though.
  16. Tsk. This is what happens when there's no XP for combat: people start killing for clothes. When will they ever learn?
  17. Bummer. Are you able to try the close door/open door trick from that side?
  18. Following the failure of the first Space-X booster recovery operation, the recovery barge has received a new name: You can't say they don't have a sense of humor.
  19. Scientists develop algorithm that can auto-ban internet trolls. Hmm, I wonder how many of our regulars would get auto-banned by this?
  20. Until somebody comes up with a better method, I think that's probably the best approach. After all, what's the alternative? You would need to leave a lot of junk in your stash until you get an opportunity to sell it. But what does that add to the game? Nothing really. It would just be another time-wasting mechanic.
  21. I haven't seen it be a significant issue, but they could always do trap lore XP for selected difficulty ranges.
  22. I would like that warning note about having edited your message to at least be optional.
  23. Pets in the game literally are a "collectable" item.
