  1. Detect magic -- spell or ability, usable outside of combat including for inventory management.
  2. There is a cursed weapon in PoE. Do you mean the Dissapointer or the Unlabored Blade? Both are "kinda" cursed but not really--the effect is temporary and limited to that weapon only. I assumed they were talking about The Grey Sleeper where you cant unequipp it. Yup. I'd have mentioned it, but thought it could be a spoiler to say so.
  3. Today the White House quietly announced that the EPA will be officially renamed the Environmental Pollution Agency. Further details to follow.
  4. Perhaps your old pal Azzuro will show up offering to sell you some of your old gear that he scavenged from the ruins?
  5. Yeah, that's the freaky aspect of the whole Mass Effect series. I suppose it's much like Star Trek in that respect. At least the Star Wars films and games did a better job of portraying truly alien aliens, even if they are mostly acting like humans.
  6. If you believe the rumors about romance in PoE2, they're just joshing you...
  7. A collector of cursed items; selling her a cursed item will bring you a better price than in a normal store.
  8. I'd like to see a scruffy-looking individual selling a very rare banned curse. Speaking sotto voce he says, "Psst... hey buddy. I've got something here you'll want to see...!" It could be, say, a particularly grotesque spell of flesh rending, or some other such gory abomination. The price for the curse spell is exorbitant, and the PC will be asked to buy it sight unseen. Being witnessed casting the spell in a civilized place may mean you'll get an unexpected visit from the magi inquisition.
  9. A hyperlinked lore glossary we can access during conversations...
  10. My ophidiophobic co-worker was pretty freaked out about that one.
  11. Main character has a wild and thoroughly enjoyable fling with a rich and gorgeous floozie (male or female) via scripted interaction, then breaks it off. Ex-lover becomes jealous and hires a cipher to give our protagonist nightmares. These continue to get progressively worse each time our hero returns to the port. Soon the former lover begins to be featured in these nightmares, swearing eternal vengeance in the form of a howling thunderstorm. Our protagonist must either beg for forgiveness and suffer some utter humiliation while serving the ex-lover's whims on a remote island, or spend an enormous sum to hire a cipher assassin who will end the attacks.
  12. I really liked having Azzuro pay visits to the Stronghold. Even though I didn't always but his item, it still made for an interesting event. Personally I'd like to see something comparable in PoE2. Perhaps the city has an exclusive magic item auction for only the most wealthy or prestigious guests? You'd have to earn your way in, and once there the available item would change each time you visit. In fact, you could put up your own items for sale.
  13. My ship's strong hold is going to be busy storing kegs of ale. I'd like a crane please so I can keep it well stocked, plus a few female companions to entertain the crew.
  14. They should run a fan contest to write a romance short story based in Eora. The winner gets their story published within the game lore, along with proper credits, &c.
  15. My guess is that we'll get scripted interactions for the ship-to-ship encounters, and the combat will only begin once the two ships are roped together. Thus it's just a normal encounter with a two ship area. We probably won't see much cannon fire, although maybe the decks will be cluttered damage. I'll bet there will only be some safe landing areas in order to channel the action into prepared areas. Otherwise you'll be warded off by sand bars, reefs, cliffs, or rocks. If they want to make it realistic, they could provide prevailing winds that vary by location. You might, for example, need to tack into the wind if you want to move in that direction; moving your ship back and forth in order to make progress. But perhaps that's too much detail? I wouldn't mind seeing some type of ship logistics, somewhat like the water rations in Wasteland 2. I.e. you have a meter running of onboard supplies. When you run out, the crew starts to take damage.
  16. I suspect the team was likely constrained by their budget, so they could only create enough art and models for a limited set of Godlikes. Perhaps we'll see more in PoE2?
  17. I am not making any argument at all, I said I would be happy with whatever they choose. That said, the health system of Eternity 2 is not a split health system. You have 1 HP pool, your hp drops you get "injuries", you get enough injuries you die. In Eternity 1 you could have injuries out the wazoo, and as long as you had 1 hp left you were still good. And yes, based on Sawyers own comments from a live stream, a lot of players did not like Eternity 1's system and found it too complicated. That is why they made this update. Presumably you mean this: There's no mention of "dislike" as the reason, only an apparent lack of understanding by a "bunch of people".
