Hi All, following the 5.0 release I was hoping the pinned build threads would get updated for what still works in 5.0. Anyone up for helping to compile what builds work for 5.0 for each of the companions/sidekicks and the main watcher character ? Looking to run on turn based so builds that work in both or turn based only please. Any help would be appreciated ! Cheers

So, if my memory is correct, 3 to 5 years have passed sense the events of Pillars of Eternity 1 by the time Pillars of Eternity 2 begins. Question of the hour is, what has the Watcher been up to? Adventuring? Relaxing? Dealing with politics? Raising their kidnapped child (if they took it, anyway) It would be interesting if we could chose what s/he has be been doing. Maybe get some sort of small bonus similar to picking our place of origin in Pillars of Eternity 1

So, anyway who has played the entirety of Pillars of Eternity 1 knows that by the end of the game you have some pretty serious weapons and armor on hand. Especially if you played White March. The question of the hour is, what will become of some of these items? The Hammer of Abydon especially because this weapon was very important. I would hope that we either get this items back at some point, and not that 'oh they were destroyed with your strong hold' That'd be kind of a lame excuse. Throughout the game I have options to tell people how I think the watcher thing is a curse, even though I don’t choose that option, some times it is forced upon me. It breaks my immersion every time, I created a wizard and though "hey put lore to max and this guy will be obsessed with knowledge" so being a watcher sounds awesome looking into souls learning the past and I am bossed with knowledge so the risk seems worth it. Every time my character starts a rant about how he hates the curse I am like "why??????" (I just alt+tab after this happened for the 12th time). Why can’t we have an option

This began as a reply to "The Heros you will roll", I just copied and pasted everything and started this thread. The topic is "Starting Locations", but I threw in some "Speculation" (which is touching close to a "Suggestion") about the Event. The speculation, as I say "almost suggestion", is a way to allow the Player more freedom when they "roll" their characters and even narrate their own characters. I'm putting it into a quote, it starts off as a direct reply to the other thread by the way: The point of the idea is that you'd be able to start off at a location and then go from there
