  1. Can I get a rabid super chipmunk companion named Anklebite?
  2. Why can't Might be the same Physical Strength? Why can't the power of the magic in this world be based on your physique? It's a different world with different rules. Adapt to it. Deal with it as it is.
  3. One possibility would be to create a highly detailed 3D map in NWN2, then use some type of software interface to scan it into a 2D image for an isometric game like ToEE or BG2. Perhaps this will become possible with Xoreos?
  4. ^^ Alas that's all too close to the truth, and so not really that funny.
  5. There is a cursed weapon in PoE. Do you mean the Dissapointer or the Unlabored Blade? Both are "kinda" cursed but not really--the effect is temporary and limited to that weapon only. I assumed they were talking about The Grey Sleeper where you cant unequipp it. Yup. I'd have mentioned it, but thought it could be a spoiler to say so. I wouldn't call the Grey Sleeper cursed, because while it can't be removed it has no negative effects and that's *really* important to the idea of a "cursed" item to me. Really, PIllars only does half-baked "cursed" items--stuff that has negative penalties to the items effects, sometimes that can be overcome, or simply the "can't be removed" deal but with no negative effects associated with it. There are not any cursed items in the sense of items that bestow negative effects on the characters and cannot be removed until they are uncursed, which is really the definition of "cursed item" that I feel most people go on when they hear the term. There are many ways to build a cursed item, and they don't necessarily involve negative penalties. One just needs to open ones mind to the possibilities.
  6. That would be nice. A bit like the old D&D rangers - Drizzt and stuff. But I can't think of any plausible talents around dual wielding at the moment (besides two weapon style of course). Maybe more cool Full Attacks would be nice. In PoE things like Wounding Shot (or Strike) are Primary Attacks only - which is lame. Wall of blades -- the character creates a whirling wall of blades that have a chance to strike anything along the path of movement. The effect also provides a bonus to deflection against disengagement attacks. However, it requires longer than normal to recover.
  7. Barbarian-ranger, maybe? I would like to see some unique cross-class abilities.
  8. Detect magic -- spell or ability, usable outside of combat including for inventory management.

  10. Today the White House quietly announced that the EPA will be officially renamed the Environmental Pollution Agency. Further details to follow.
  11. Perhaps your old pal Azzuro will show up offering to sell you some of your old gear that he scavenged from the ruins?
  12. Yeah, that's the freaky aspect of the whole Mass Effect series. I suppose it's much like Star Trek in that respect. At least the Star Wars films and games did a better job of portraying truly alien aliens, even if they are mostly acting like humans.
  13. If you believe the rumors about romance in PoE2, they're just joshing you...
  14. A collector of cursed items; selling her a cursed item will bring you a better price than in a normal store.
  15. I'd like to see a scruffy-looking individual selling a very rare banned curse. Speaking sotto voce he says, "Psst... hey buddy. I've got something here you'll want to see...!" It could be, say, a particularly grotesque spell of flesh rending, or some other such gory abomination. The price for the curse spell is exorbitant, and the PC will be asked to buy it sight unseen. Being witnessed casting the spell in a civilized place may mean you'll get an unexpected visit from the magi inquisition.
  16. A hyperlinked lore glossary we can access during conversations...
  17. My ophidiophobic co-worker was pretty freaked out about that one.
