  1. Most of the character's VO work was quite good. Maneha, however, sounded like a soccer mom on a shopping expedition. Her voice just didn't seem to fit that role. She might have worked better as a Cipher or a Paladin.
  2. Nope. Health recovery potions. Thus why Luminious Adra from Deadfire is so valuable. Nope. It's part of the setting canon that health potions are very rare. Plus they've been overused (and overabused) in other games. We get to deal with it as part of the challenge.
  3. Different strokes for different folks. Injuries make combat more realistic, which I appreciate.
  4. The injury system worked fine in Drakensang. They're already in the game, so I have no problem with it.
  5. Adra healing crystals: The heal a body quickly, requiring only 8 hours rest They can only be recharged at soul fonts They won't function if you carry too many Okay, lets call them "camping supplies"...
  6. Here's an example: I was in the Actions panel, flipped to the panel and back again. "Recall" had changed to "Assign", even though Sagani is already assigned.
  7. I've had several instances of Stronghold tasks with a party member assigned, then when I view it in the interface it says "Assign" rather than "Recall". Clicking on the button causes the task to vanish. Frustration ensues... I believe I'm on the latest patch level.
  8. Perhaps a sentient weapon that has "lost its mind", so to speak, in the form of various appendages (gems?) formerly attached to the hilt. As these are recovered, more background on the weapon is gained, and possibly additional powers are unlocked.
  9. A level 16 cap seems about right for PoE. On my current playthrough I've finished most of the content (including much of WM) and most of the characters are at level 14.
  10. She says I don't love her. Says that I don't spend much time with her. And that I only care about games. But she doesn't understand that it's just fun. Sad. Game over, man. Game... over! Buy her some flowers. Listen to her blather.
  11. Okay, so a question occurred to me: during my current play-through I never recruited Pallegina as I'm doing the run with a different cast of characters. Does this mean that she will be effectively "dead" during PoE2? Or can I meet her anew with a clean dialogue that doesn't assume prior knowledge?
  12. All of your prisoners have been released from the Caed Nua gaol and they now proceed to thoroughly beat the living snot out of you. 1 injury per prisoner.
  13. The infinite storage chest is likewise a bandaid. Both are abstractions of endlessly traipsing back and forth to deal with necessities like eating, drinking, and hauling away your piles of treasure. For that purpose they work just fine.
  14. Yep, I've long wondered why stickers weren't one of the available goods. I even suggested it way back when.
  15. Besides GameBanshee, I also find RockPaperShotgun is interesting from time to time. ModDB is good for various modding projects.
  16. RPGWatch is my go-to site for cRPG news. There's some negativity, but it's nothing like the Codex toxic dump site.
  17. Previous thread: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/90440-the-funny-things-thread/ Probably not very PC, but here goes...
  18. I thought camping supplies worked well. They're an abstraction of logistical planning without all the messy details.
  19. I suppose if I still watched Game of Thrones, I'd probably understand that reference.
