Been mucking about on a friends laptop while recovering from a leg injury playing Deadfire, loving it so far as I'm a long term fan of games like BG/IWD/Divinity/Dungeon Siege etc. Planning to pick up the Obsidian Edition for myself via GOG over the weekend and start a full POTD run ( with a split 4 faction run at the obvious point to fill out the achievements unless there's some way to copy them over from my mates machine ? ). I'll also probably be using the Unity Console Mod and More AI Conditions as the only actual Game Affecting Mods beyond the Portrait Packs, and Unity only fo
Fhav6X posted a topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire: Modding (Spoiler Warning!)This mod, as the name implies, allows you to tint godlikes. It also adds some more head options to those. https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/325 This mod is somewhat special, so you have to read the installation instructions carefully! Installation: 1. Extract the files into your "Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire" main folder (the one with the exe). For insistence, would a Godlike of Abydon be a baby made entirely out of metal? or perhaps a Godlike of Eothas would glow brightly at all times. Maybe even a Godlike of Weal, whose appearance changes everyday to a random race and gender. Perhaps not all Gods have a Godlike because their domai
I was thinking... some godlikes were intended to have stronger racial abilities, because they can't wear headgear. In a way making them stronger than other races in the early game (when there simply were no head items to be found) and weaker later (because of headgear extra stats). This feels a little bit askew, especially with all new items that came with WM1, WM2 and raising of the lvl cap. What if there were headgear items of tier 2. Twice less powerful than coifs, helmets and so on, but which can be equipped by everyone, including godlikes. For example headbands. So, what do you think?
