  1. at the very least I'd like to see some mounts parked in a stable and some cattle here and there even if i can't purchase or use them... Domestication of animals is a crucial point of development for advancement of a civilization...its essentially why the native American cultures never advanced beyond a certain point depiste inhabiting the western hemisphere for over 10,000 years+
  2. how people got Orcs from Amaua i'll never know... Orcs typically always live in mountainous regions, Amaua are said to live on islands and coastal regions. ~Know your lore beyooooooootch!~ /90'sSnoopDogg
  3. I'd like to see them implemented in at least an overland map or fast travel capacity... It's a stretch of the imagination that an advanced civilization in the high medieval period goes around on foot all the time and hasn't domesticated any animals with which to ride upon. and what about mounted goblins and stuff like that? shlts real cash man.
  4. i like the fact that gunpowder seems to be associated with the goddess of fire and asskicking and that her priests made a bomb called the Hammer of God... I gots no worries my childrens!
  5. I like how people make a huge deal about black powder being in this when Irenicus had cloning technology and was apparently a master geneticist...
  6. you get an celebratory pelvic thrust for posting this friend-o!
  7. there's this bridge I know about...it's perfect for jumping off of...
  8. didn't they say in one of the videos that people had actually taken up residence in the endless halls?
  9. I am going to be soooooo butt devastated if we don't hit 3.5 mil... guys, it's an extra city *sniff*...maybe if we make it to 3.4 they'll give is a medium city as a consolation?
  10. if they were to implement a stronghold it should be class specific rather than just a castle in the middle of nowhere...otherwise just let me take over a specific faction and use their stronghold (and minions) as my own.
  11. I think we need 2 more companions to make it an even ten! That would add to the replay value of this baby quite a bit (party interactions, npc sidequests, rivalries and strategic elements when building your group)...besides, I think there should be a companion per class or at least close to it. (no Cipher companion needed...I'll be filling that role kukuku) That and deeper, richer content as well as more of it. (more quests, lore, non-main-quest related areas, mini dungeons, or perhaps a planar adventure-the skies the limit really) It's a new IP with none of the old restrictions.
  12. to me functional = protecting vital areas, not looking like some fool who armors his torso yet leaves his legs in nothing more than pantyhose and slippers. I've never been one for heavy armor as I think its ridiculous and impractical for adventuring... seriously, swamps and mountains anyone? To me a simple hard leather jerkin with ring or chainmail layering + forearm and shin guards + a good sword lends itself to mobility, endurance and speed and is far superior to some fool who wears full plate but runs out of breath 30 seconds into battle leaving him vulnerable to anyone with a decent can opener. I'm reminded of the Bronn vs that Knight guy packing full plate and kite shield in season 1 of Game of Thrones...he died with honor alright.
  13. whatever the developers deem best...though i will say this: "I WANT TO CARRY ON WITH MY PROTAGONIST (be it his soul or his actual "now" persona) AND NOT JUST HAVE HIM GO *poof* AND VANISH! BG1 did this so well by limiting our power progression to reasonable levels so that when BG2 came around you still weren't Mr. Big D1ck badass.
  14. as much as others want "realism" in their fantasy...i want actual fantasy. If clothing and armor is elaborate...let it be due to a good reason, be it cultural, scientific or magical. this is a new, non-publisher controlled I.P. I want obsidian to go BALLS DEEP and as radical as they see fit with everything in this world.
  15. a technomancer could be like a trap and crude mechanical invention master...kinda like Jan Jansen with his flasher master bruiser.
  16. what makes the mages truly powerful is not the time-stop, the Wish, spell mantle or the absolute immunity spells...no my amigos, it is the spell sequencers and chain contingencies. 2nd edition mages were GODS because of these simple tricks.
  17. Source: http://www.kickstart...sidian/comments *begrudgingly puts away torch and pitchfork*
  18. you're not delusional...it just feels unnatural to believe in gaming companies these days. But it is beautiful to believe.
  19. the downside to catering to the species known as "Oldius Fagius Codexius" is that they are oft afraid to try new things... fear not brethren, Facebook will not devour you unless you are weak and easily distracted by angry birds and the like.
  20. have no fears friend-o, Feargusaurus and his merry band of Obsidiraptors will not tease us in a cruel BioWarian like manner... the expansion will likely be something like Tales of the sword coast which will only serve to add to the richness of the world. as for "cliffhannger endings"...a world were souls are confirmed to exist as is reincarnation really doesn't require much in the way of agonizing cliffhangers. Truth be told you could play the same soul reborn in a different age as part of a story line... BG1 ended without a huge cliffhanger, the story with Sarevok was resolved but it naturally led into BG2. just relax and open your wallet...
  21. an rpg without rogues...? >confirmed as a button mashing DudeBro.
  22. glorious expansion packs like in the days of yore... am I caught in a beautiful dream only to wake up and find myself in a button mashing nightmare?
  23. 'murica's 'bout freedom sir...democracy's 'bout the right ta choose how ya wanna live yer laife! So you go-on an take yer socialisms on outta here!
