i like ALL the IE games, the BG saga included... i even hope P:E has sequels were i can import my character and continue his story.

definitely godlike cipher...there is no other option. If by some horrible freak accident of nature the cipher class sucks, then rogue, because rogue's are the best always.

the problem is that I think the boards are being flooded with an excessive amount of BioDrones who think this game is going to be some kind of 3D wet dream were they can customize their character endlessly... wake up call people! this is an isometric top-down camera view with tiny avatars that represent your characters. The likely-hood that HUGE T1TS or FATTY McFATTY PANTS "realistic" characters will be represented in game is HIGHLY unlikely. again, these dumbasses need to go back to their Dragon Ages and Skyrims for that crap.

I don't mind turn based when it comes to big boss battles or tough fights...but when I have to kill a horde of gibberlings with my demi-god level character in a turn based scenario i'd rather just rip my own heart out and watch its last few beats before i die.

Have ANY of you people played or remember the IE games AT ALL? No physical adjustments what-so-ever (except for TOEE which let you become taller) and they were a 100 times better than the BS you see today with all these ridiculous make-up and tattoo options and height/weight adjustment BS. you want that crap? go play skyrim.

Who cares about "PC"? Now realism, on the other hand... Realism ye say good sir? a lady prancing around the countryside packing full plate will be many things...FAT would not be one of them.

it's fantasy guys...not even real life is all that serious unless you make it so. are people really so invested in this? because I've seen these types of threads all over rpg boards, particularly the BSN-a greater hive of scum and villainy I haven't yet heard of (save for 4chan) and besides, BG had fatties(male and female) in abundance...NWN even allowed you to MAKE your own fat AND ugly character. I honestly think people who focus this much on the appearance of their characters should probably play the SIMS or some kind of dating simulator (DA3 is coming out next years guys)... P:E is about story and old style, non-button mashing gameplay; can't we just be happy with that?

I'd like detailed Fallout like epilogues based upon the choices i made in the game...but I also hope they do a BG1 to BG2 character import option...I've longed to play an awesomely (not the button) epictastic game series using the same character i started out with and watching him/her grow in power over the course of time.

they'll announce it once KS hits 3.5 mill to keep momentum up! That goal has passed us by when we were at ~3,394k on kickstarter. Now we're closing in on 3.6 mil so that ship sailed a loooooong time ago. We are ~7.5k away from 3.6 mil and 91 pledges from mega dungeon level 11 on kickstarter though in the end we'll also have ~2000 pledgers added on due to paypal so we're ~591 pledgers away from dungeon level 12. they won't be counting PP 'till the very end though.

full voice acting is OBSCENELY expensive (something like 3-5 thousand dllars for a few hundred lines) and very limiting to the writers...now partial VO like in the IE games etc. is much more viable and frankly impactful. I mean, who can top David Warner as Irenicus? certainly no modern rpg villain. Now orchestral music on the other hand...THAT is a worthy aspiration.
