  1. I find them both ludicrous and tragic at the same time. Poking fun at them amuses me greatly. Cosplayers and Bioware, together, creating a huge swirling maelstrom of emo lameness. Even my intense enuii at the early 21st Century is lightened by their folly. Your point? I appreciate your honesty, all I can say is how would you feel if there were people on a forum that you were active on that were insulting or dismissive towards something that you enjoyed? You probably wouldn't care because you are comfortable with what you enjoy and its irrelevant to you what some virtual faceless person on a forum thinks. But this type of criticism can be hurtful and create unnecessary acrimony as not everyone is as confident in there views and hobbies as you are. Let's not mince words: everyone gets upset at the internet sometimes.
  2. It took our Art Director 24 hours to download the beta. Whut.
  3. Yeah, please, let's keep all the BSN BS to the BSN. There is nothing wrong with liking the Dragon Age series or Dragon Age 2 in particular. Let's not bring in the attitude that doing so makes you less intelligent.
  4. Holy jesus... That was all actually in-engine, too. Jesus. "Please, Peter, make a movement." But I also noticed how they said this: "You will be fighting for your wife." I think we can confirm that you can ask for sandwiches in this game.
  5. Go to any con. But especially SDCC on the night of Preview Night. So many orcs in Ralph's.
  6. Considering that seems to be a large part of their fanbase (based on romances, 200 page lectures on ME3 endings, BioWare forums etc.), that doesn't seem like a bad business-strategy, really... Friggin' talimancers... One girl got upset that my male mage romanced Fenris.
  7. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1460250988/darkest-dungeon-by-red-hook-studios A 2D rogue-like where your characters personalities matter as much as their stats! The Jester has seen one too many party members die in combat, and is prone to nihilistic rants, stressing the other party members! Do you send him carousing in town to blow off some steam? The Man-at-Arms has begun relying on the bottle as much as his battleaxe. His inebriated fury is a welcome damage boost for the party, but he has grown increasingly unpredictable and erratic. Do you bench him in town, or simply lash more liquor to his pack? At camp, the Plague Doctor's methods unnerve the Highwayman, and he refuses her treatments. Maybe you should rethink the idea of combining them in the same party again. A critical hit from a skeleton sends the Vestal reeling, and instills in her a crippling fear of the Undead. She can fight well enough against other foes, but if you expect her to keep her head through the Crypts, you'll first need to send her to the Abbey to do some serious prayer and contemplation. The reward tiers are actually pretty good, too!
  8. I can never download the beta. It's far too large.
  9. That and it let Hanks stretch his acting chops by playing an action character. It was still very much a Hanks role, but with pew pew.
  10. The Lego Movie was insanity. The perfect love letter to creativity, and one hell of a meta-commentary on movie messages if you look hard enough.
  11. They've made it pretty clear that Eternity will follow the same protagonist if not have some sort of save import feature altogether. With the level 12 cap thing.
  12. According to the leaked Acheev list, I will be farting on everyone.
  13. Nothing, unless you listen to the Bioware fans who got outraged when Dragon Age 2 was called Dragon Age 2 instead of Dragon Age: Trapped in the Box. #3 jab at Bioware/its hardcore fans. I'm on a roll today. Even if it was called Dragon Age: Exodus, it would have caused outrage. It ought to have been called Dragon Age: Yeah, We Should've Thought About It Some More. It's not like they had a choice in the matter. They were given a completely asinine release date.
  14. **** I'm sorry dude. Didn't mean to dig at anyone with autism. It's fine, but a few things here: 1) You never know who is reading. 2) What if Stun is actually disabled in some form? You're using language in a very hostile manner, and what's more, you're increasing in it.

  16. Stun. If it's a game and it's through the medium of video, it's a video game. Saying visual novels are not video games is not only a gigantic blanket statement, it is fundamentally wrong. I used the word game in every instance, it was clear I was talking about games specifically. If that went over your head, you should become acquainted with the function of nouns.I see. So then, you should have no problems whatsoever citing me one Game.... one Role Playing Game in the history of computer gaming, that had Role Playing and NOTHING ELSE. Oh Boy! A Likes contest!! What are you, 12? Stun, are you mentally ill? No sane person is this pedantic. Hey. Kaine, as someone with autism, I'm asking you to keep it down, okay?
  17. Interesting choice of words! You've moved the goal posts. LOL I see you're no longer arguing that to be an RPG, it need only have Role playing and nothing else. Now you're readily admitting that it also needs to be a game. Well, that's true, isn't. Because if it had role playing, and nothing else, it'd just be a graphic novel... a visual Choose-Your-Own-Adventure. And those aren't games. You mean all this time I thought I was making a video game and I was just making a fancy CYOA?
  18. Yeah. The new KS design is aesthetically wonderful but functionally horrible.
