This made me really sad and a bit angry. Sanguine Armor was the one item in the game that allowed me to build an (off-)tank for something outside of the "min might/dex, max deflection and HP" meta that currently rules the tanking game. Currently, the most efficient tank is nothing outside of a engagement field placement, that for all other purposes might as well not even be there. The Sanguine armor on the other hand, allowed me to build an at least somewhat usefull (off-)tank with a decent might and either Tidefall or The Rose of Salthollow, which could hold his own (somewhat) and be usefull in the fight (somewhat) outside of being a static engagement field placement. It allowed me to do something slightly more creative, not to mention immersive. A tank that hits like a leaf in a calm wind, and is awesome at his job while doing so, reminds me way to much about mmo's and breaks immersion for me. I have not seen a single person complaining about Sanguine armor being OP or needing a nerf. It's certainly popular, but that because you've actually managed to give us a good unique item that we enjoy using. Why on earth would you remove it? I see absolutely no reason whatsoever for this change. I also don't see who would actually use it now. If you want to slap Frenzy on something, then it should be a light or medium armor. I am deeply dissapointed. I agree. Well, just don't install patch like I won't . Nobody force us to do this Really? I don't see how I can choose not to. In Steam the only update options are "Always keep this game up to date" "Only update when I launch it" or "High Priority - update first" That is. GUIDE: HOW NOT TO PATCH YOUR Pillars of Eternity AND PLAY WITHOUT PATCH (For Steam): You start Steam- you change updates to "Only Update when I launch it", then you start Steam- it wont patch since you didn't start game. You click on "Steam", choose "Go Offline Mode" and from now on your Steam will start in Offline mod- which means no updates and no patches. If you want to play other game with Steam on, just start steam, go Online and it still won't patch PoE since you have "Only Update when I launch it" . Simple. It is my game so I will decide if I want to patch it or not. Almost sounds like you don't like the ironman change, and you want to finish the game in ironman(by scumming ofc) before you patch it.

No idea, I've sacrificed only GM so far. Got a decent talent from it, no idea what you get for sacrifcing any other companion though. A full list would help if anyone knows -
As you mention, there are plenty of Superb unique weapons over the course of the game so that your damage dealers will be covered without the need for enchantment. Those weapons will be better than anything you could enchant by yourself from scratch, and are likely best for DPS purposes anyway. E.g.: Superb two-hander - Blade of the Endless Paths; Superb one-hander - Edge of Reason; Superb ranged - Aedrin's Wrecker, The Rain of Godagh Field; Superb dual wield - Vierina's Leaves, Drawn in Spring; etc. BUT: There is no Superb Blunderbuss. So if you've got a Cipher, then enchanting him a Superb Lead Spitter could be the way to go. Other good candidates for Superb are Spell-striking weapons. But there are very few of them, and they require focused builds to be used for maximum efficiency (e.g. Azureuth + Bleak Fang dual-wielding Barbarian). This is something that definitely comes down to who's in your party and what weapons you like to use. I like running a mid-liner DPS character with Tall Grass (best specials on a reach weapon), for example, so that's usually a higher priority for me. There also aren't any Superb Pistols, Arquebuses, Wands, Sabers, Great Swords, Pikes, War Hammers, Stilettos, or Flails. This is to say nothing of the weapon types for which the only Superb weapons are unimpressive apart from that quality (a list that would be shorter if the Speed property were actually functioning). Now despite all that, Lead Splitter might still be the best candidate for using your two Sky Dragon Eyes, but it's far from a foregone conclusion. There is a superb (unique) great sword in Cail's cave actually.

Priest starts with 10 less accuracy compared to Fighters/Monks/Rogues/Rangers. This talent merely brings the priest's base accuracy up to that of other frontliners, for two weapons only, each covered by a different Weapon Focus. It's pretty good for a caster who wants to melee, but abysmal compared to an actual melee damager. fighters dont have spells, so the total damage is still superior.

My main was a moon godlike priestess in my first playthrough, and she had the most total damage, the highest single target damage etc. She crit often, and had pretty good overall dps, especially late game with the unique staff you can find in noonfrost. (radiance being op before the first patch helped as well) Just max out your might (which helps with healing as well), and you will deal really do damage with your pillar-spells. You can buff yourself to crit often and improve your accuracy as well. More importantly, abuse your priest talents which add a bonus of +10 accuracy to specific weapons depending on your god choice, +10 accuracy is great and no other class provides such a bonus via talents/abilities.

You can always help the guy instead.

You can simply insert the shard into an altar in front of the ice-portal thing. -
I thought that was a universal truth for all games. Head gear is always f'ugly. Hoods and turbans look pretty good if you can match the colours

Well back when i was doing the quest going out to kill the bear seemed easier so i did that, not because i really CARE. But it's the lioness if i have to pick a side after giving it some thought.
-
I favor lioness, because she has the right to hold on to her position/advantage. Bear can attack her nest if he is as mighty as its followers claim, or try to lure her out instead of waiting around.

You are a hell of a player then dude, most of my IRL friends actually found that hard was really hard. Even I don't think I'd be able to Ironman PotD without a lot of cheese. Eh you will never know before you try, it gets really easy after the early game because you start to outlevel everything just like in other difficulty settings. You can simply skip harder encounters if you are worried, and get a min-maxed tank unlike me.

You don't even need the perception check, simply getting the log-book is enough.
