  1. No, I have no idea what you are refering to. But if something similar is in that game, perhaps I should come up with something else I would like to see.
  2. Generally polls are not overly useful, due to the fact the majority of them are made by people with an agenda. They often word them to reflect their own opinion over others or omit choices that should have been added.
  3. I do not understand your reference, is that from another game?
  4. To be honest, walking around in a dungeon for hours at a time is fairly boring, same walls and floor room after room, cave after cave. If a mega dungeon was included it would have to be diverse to keep it interesting and fresh.
  5. I would go with a tragic character with a dry humor, he would be a suicide who had his soul forced back into his body against his will. So now he walks around reanimated and unable to truly die or be released. Class I am not sure about, could be a bard so he is charismatic and likeable. Really what I want is a dog companion, but unfortunately it has to be a playable race/class. So long as the character is not boring, the class and race are not important!
  6. I would rather see a fully fledged expansion, more content for a more reasonable price. No doubt most gamers are sick with companies ripping them off with release day DLC and overpriced armour/weapon mini DLC's. Mass Effect and Bethesda's horse armour are fine examples. From what I understand the current trend for smaller DLC's is not because customers prefer it, but because they take less time to make and thus more money can be earned. I believe people have always preferred large expansion packs. I guess this sorry state it is another industry standard we can thank publishers for. Well, as this is Kickstarter project by Obsidian with no publisher interfering, I expect expansion/DLC to be done correctly with the fans desires in mind, not just their money.
  7. Agreed, narration is perfect for a game like this. But the voice actor has to be very, very well chosen, a dodgy voice would utterly ruin it.
  8. So long as it does not include short elves with long ears like Dragon Age I will be happy. Tolkien Elves and Dwarves are fine in my books.
  9. I prefer not to have guns in my fantasy games, but I would rather Obsidian decide if they should be in or not rather than submitting to any kind of fan pressure. After all, they are the ones that are making the world, so they know if it is suitable or not.
  10. I love composers such as Jeremy Soule, Inon Zur, Sam Hulick and Creative Assembly's Jeff Van Dyck. But one of the best video game soundtracks I have ever heard was for the mediocre game Demon stone, it just drives the story along so well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEx9U6QIMJY&feature=relmfu Get Rob Mills Obsidian!
  11. Obsidian only, for once I want to see a game made by them that they have full creative control over. Also, Bioware of all developers? They can go to hell for all I care, they destroyed Dragon Age and Mass Effect.
  12. I can not wait!
  13. I was never interested in Bards Tale, so when it was remade I ignored it. Wasteland is another kettle of fish however. If people solely based the quality of a developers next product on the last regardless of the franchise, noone would have bought Mass Effect because Dragon Age 2 was a complete disaster. The fact ME3 outsold the previous two games is proof enough that it is not the case.
  14. I loved Dablo and Diablo II was great fun, but for some reason Diablo III just does not seem to appeal to me. I have looked at the videos and the graphics and gameplay looks nice, but their are no characters that seem interesting this time round, I missed the Diablo II Paladin and Diablo I Sorcerer.
  15. Your main argument seems to be that if anyone does not agree with your view of the world is stupid. We all understand your point of view, most of us disagree and I doubt you will change any of our minds. The people that put down the money did it because it is one of the few, if not last chance we can get an old school hardcore rpg made. If you like to tell people they are stupid for taking risks, then grab a sign and stand outside a casino all day.
  16. The majority have been waiting over twenty years already, I think we can wait another one or two. Edit - You are right, it is our money, thanks for your permission.
  17. By definition it is not even DLC, Capcom should be ashamed with that blatant disregard for their consumers rights. I do not buy Capcom games, but if I did, this would convince me to take my money elsewhere.
  18. Now the long torturous wait begins.
  19. Almost at the 3 million mark, mod tools will be a very welcome addition.
  20. Correct. Edit - They remade Thundercats? How dare they!
  21. You are right, the gameplay was improved, the combat is fluid and very enjoyable, well balanced on insanity. But it is not the combat I have a problem with.
  22. Crysis never really appealed to me, the whole franchise seemed to rely on the `ground breaking
  23. I would not say it totally made up for it, they are less interactive. I think they need to find a middle ground, with more dynamic and lively ME3 location movement and background chat yet retain the ME1 depth of character conversations and influence. (Like with Ash and aliens or Garrus with C-Sec) Ash grew on me, she may not be your cup of tea, in my case it was Liara that did nothing for me. Only thing I found that most people have in common is a fondness Mordin and Garrus, they were very well writen. I am not overly optimistic about this ending dlc, the whole fiasco put a bad taste in my mouth. I am not even sure I will even re-install when it comes out. ME1 has never left my hard drive since release, which says a lot about the sequels.
  24. So on top of The Lords of Midnight I have another I would like to see re-imagined. The Sacred Armour of Antiriad, it was a great post-apocalyptic platform game, was one of the first I remember coming with a comic.
