I watched this too. It was surprisingly not horrific. In fact, it kinda won me over around the end. I mean, even with all that origin stuff they messed up, they got the personalities of the turtles mostly right and that's really the core. I also watched The Boxtrolls which was some lovely claymation. Had a couple of great laughs, a decent story and a hilariously despicable villain. Yeah, all the Origin stuff was at the beginning, so by the end its mostly forgotten with all the cool action and turtle humour. Shredder didn't even suck as much as he looked like he would in the trailers. My 3 year old turtle fanatic was going ape over the whole thing, except he was adamant that it wasn't Splinter, because Splinter is a rat, not a pig. Sequel reportedly has Bebop and Rocksteady, so I'll probably bring him to see that when it comes out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Aside from completely screwing up their origins and connection to April, it wasn't bad at all.

Eggs Benedict and Sausage rolls for breakfast. The bennys are my trdition, the sausage rolls are the wife's. After finding the easy hollandaise recipe on youtube I take any opportunity to make it. Got a ham in the oven now. Gonna make stuffing, yams, brussel sprouts, and potatoes au gratin to go with it.

Have a Christmas of the Merry variety.

Christmas Eve tradition of The Hogfather. I really enjoy it.

So far I've grabbed Freedom Cry Standalone (Grabbed the PS3 version of Black Flag during Black Friday), Omerta Gold Edition, and Bundlestars had all the King Arthur: Roleplaying Wargame games and DLC for $5.

I like that it shows you your wishlist items with discounts on the front page, but the longer schedules for community votes and flash deals means less interest from me. I have a large backlog of good stuff and most of the stuff in my wishlist that I really want came out within the last couple months so likely won't be discounted. So I'll likely pass too.

Men being on the hook for child support for kids that aren't theirs isn't uncommon either. A friend of my parents lived with his girlfriend for 8 months, left, and was ordered to pay child support for the kid she had before they met because he had "acted in a fatherly manner" or some crap.

Maybe the situation will be different next time when the auction comes up again, since the gems won't be able to be infinitely duplicated anymore. Though if you're waiting to buy something big and popular with that 900 gems, forget it, since that is basically worth 30-40 cents Took me 3 years to build up that 30-40 cents

I think Utah and Caesar's Legion were taken from VB, but thats it. VB? Wasn't the concept for that basically recycled for NV and the DLCs?

The auction was interesting until I saw that top bids for games I was interested in was at 90000, and the most I could get was 900

More importantly I guessed who Skye and her dad was in October, so it was nice to be right (I usually am not on this kind of thing). I didn't even know who they were, so I was glad for the internet rumour mill.

Kinda, but further future, and lighter toned. Make it more about exploration and such.

SHIELD was great. Skye and her dad's identities confirmed, show has superpowers now, lots of win.

After referring to their half brother still being I the box with Lucifer, I figured that would have become a major plotline, but nothing. Not even another mention.

I'm both interested and skeptical of Krypton.

Journalism and sexism in the games industry

WTF kind of way is that of talking about another nation. I believe it's called racism to any reasonable person. Actually I believe, and I just learned this, its Ethnocentrism. -
A far future fantasy game would be neat. Elves, dwarves, magic, etc, in a Star Trek-esque world.

Wait.. I thought Kickstarter was supposed to prevent the release of partially completed games. It seems there's no evil publisher to blame anymore - what's a gamer to do? Yeah, I don't get it. It was already in early access, no need for an official completed release until its, well, completed. Double Bear made a mistake with that. I didn't even see the release promoted on Steam, so its pretty much a net loss for them I would think.

A time travel plot after using the same bit for the first one would be a huge mistake. If thats what he was insisting on, no wonder he got canned.

Saw Mockingjay part 1 last week. Slow to start but got better and ended well. Its nicely crafted

It's now become a catchall phrase meaning someone who doesn't share a SJW's point of view. In fairness, the term "social justice warrior" is itself a catchall that lumps together a spectrum of radical far-left-wingers. To be fair, my definition of SJW was the extreme Social Justice activists who would ignore facts and just scream and paint people who politely disagreed and posted facts to back up their arguments ass horrible oppressors who deserve death. As GamerGate moves on people who fit that definition seemed to become the norm on the anti-gg side rather than the fringe element that it started as.
