  1. I mostly stick to Root Beer and Mountain Dew. When I drink alcohol my choices tend to be Strongbow, or Southern Comfort with Ginger Ale, but I rarely drink. Don't like alcohol so I only drink to get drunk and have few opportunities.
  2. That article is surprisingly neutral coming from Polygon. That episode sounds like a whole lot of slander. The only physical assaults in this whole debacle have been against GamerGate supporters.
  3. The Book of Life. Disney/Pixar, the gauntlet has been dropped. Best animated film I've seen in years.
  4. The SyFy (Though it was SciFi at the time) miniseries was good, besides the casting of Paul. I think I only ever saw the theatrical of the movie.
  5. A lot of people figured they just copied the Interstellar trailer because they were trying to give off an exploration vibe. My opinion is the same as before, bad cast, and the filmmakers don't "get" Fantastic Four. Especially after the director said his inspiration for the style was David Cronenberg. Only opinion that changed was I dont think Miles Teller was bad casting anymore, he actually looks pretty good.
  6. I read an article on how the term "limited series" is confusing to a lot of audiences. So going into shows like Galavant and Gracepoint people though they were one shot mini series. Especially when described as "limited series event". So people get all confused when a limited series ends on a cliffhanger. But limited series means less than a full season of episodes. Which is fristrating because Galacant only would have worked as a single season, and trying to get two out of it just left people frustrated.
  7. Man in the High Castle. Never read the book, but the Alternate History Weekly Update was hyping it up for a while. I hope it goes to series, its right up my alley.
  8. I haven't seen them, but the pilot references them a little bit, so I'm interested in checking them out.
  9. Its a spinoff of the tv movies, same character as the leader of a team
  10. Started watching The Librarians. Like a mix of Dr Who and Warehouse 13. Not bad.
  11. I don't get how making fun of idiots on tumblr is transphobic.
  12. The Georgina Young one was much more effective criticism. The first one just came off like all the bad anti gg articles. I would think a harassment support network would be something someone who is harassed goes to, rather than something that would reach out to the harassed, so his points fell flat to me.
  13. She sent a goodbye note to KIA, saying she had prepared for this eventuality and that she suspects someone was paid to do it and it wasn't just some **** anti-gger.
  14. So Lizzy went dark because after she got doxxed someone threatened her kids.
  15. I haven't given Origin any payment info yet thankfully. Everything I have on Origin was from Humble Bundle, On the House, or physical copies with activation codes.
  16. Look at it like a tv series. It got 5 seasons, that's not bad a bad run, oh well, move on.
  17. The last couple episodes were the best so far, the song the handmaiden and chef shared was pretty awesome.
  18. My first reaction to ZQ's page was "hey, maybe the GG Harassment Patrol can help out" but I figured she would reject that out of hand. Which would be a shame because it could be a pretty big step towards reconciliation.
  19. I thought Gamergate largely left the Escapist alone because they weren't being ****. How is a ton of people getting sacked by "one of the good guys" a victory for Gamergate?
  20. Sadly, I'm incredibly broke and have a giant backlog (SteamLeft says 2700 hours, not counting console games and non-steam games), so I'll have to pass on this. Still haven't finished Dragonfall(by finished, I mean got passed the first battle). Will definitely wishlist it and grab it when my backlog is less. Glad its blasted passed its goal though. Looks like it will definitely get all its stretch goals. Good, because the Matrix was the worst part of the first one.
  21. Jodorowsky's Dune. Documentary about the extensive pre-production and eventual rejection of Alejandro Jodorowsky's adaption of Dune, and its lasting effect on Hollywood. I really enjoyed it. Not quite as good as Empire of Dreams, but still a good watch. Jodorowski's passion is evident and its amazing to think that without him collecting his "spiritual warriors" we never would have gotten Alien.
  22. Its crazy that Internet Hobo is a viable career choice now
  23. I've mostly been here and on KiA, so I haven't actually seen much when it comes to GG crazies. Everyone here and there seems to be pretty sensible.
  24. His ending to Dune had Paul die but his conciousness inhabits everyone on Arrakis, awakening the planet which turns into some sort of messiah planet traveling the cosmos awakening other planets.
  25. Was watching Jodorowsky's Dune (which was excellent) and then this happened...
