New Real Time With Pause Dungeons & Dragons RPG - SWORD COAST LEGENDS
Looks like a must buy for me. Name sucks though.

Garfield and Stone's chemistry was the best thing about the ASM movies. And I agree with you on Green Goblin. Harry's character arc was terrible. His dad lived to a ripe old age with his goblin disease. No need to freak out about dying with years of his research into staying alive. Its a shame Marvel doesn't have the full rights back. If I were doing it I would have him out himself during Civil War, and presumably die at the end of his first MCU movie. Then do a Miles Morales Spider-Man netflix series, which leads up into the revelation that Pete wasn't dead for the next movie.

It spawned one of my favorite music videos though

Brainstorming: Obsidian + Next IP
I could go for a Steampunk Pirate RPG. Sky pirates with airships and such.

All the negative reviews were scaring me because this is one of my most anticipated of the year. I've loved pretty much every Wachowski film.

Loop between S and T
Is there any way to turn it off? Edit: Fount it. Thanks.

Loop between S and T
I couldn't find anything about this. In all the text since the first version of the beta there is a little loop between the letter s and letter t Since it hasn't been fixed since the first version of the beta, is it supposed to be like that? Because its quite distracting. Every instance of "st" has it.

Obsidians Help Room
Obsidian also doesn't regularly interact with the forum community, which is kinda sad since that was what originally kept me going to the Black Isle forums. They weren't just devs, they were part of the community. So getting a response from them over here isn't likely.

Journalism and sexism in the games industry
Well state-funded media tends to be even more unreliable and unfair when it comes to reporting news. So if you know of a better way to fund news production than by selling it, do tell. CBC was good until they tried competing with the major networks. More and more reliance on ads, less and less reliable reporting because they needed to up their ratings. Add funding cuts and you have even more reliance on selling sensationalist BS.

I still want my new world fantasy colonial management RPG. Combine open-world exploration with competing colonial interests with rival powers, and natives with magic.

What's on the idiot box... Part 3
Arrow was pretty good for the first half of season 1, good for 2nd half, then awesome for season 2 and has mostly kept up the pace.

Which of these Star Wars games are any good?
The lowest the 3 games at the $12 level have gotten during steam sales and such is like $7, so getting all 3 plus the rest is a steal. Empire at War I thought was really fun, especially the space battles.

Anyone else starting to think Sarkeesian is just an actor McIntosh pays to be the face of his idiocy?

What's on the idiot box... Part 3
For a moment I was worried that was the new Ironman. In Arrow he's pretty much Iron Man. Rich guy, builds a battle suit to fight crime. Personality wise he's kind of a less dickish Tony Stark too.

Brandon Routh as the Atom on Arrow. Doesn't look too shabby for a TV show costume.

The Great Game Giveaway: Tuesday Edition
I've been curious about the Spiderweb games, but the graphics always end up turning me off. Look like something I would have been all over in 1995. On another note, got a couple requests for games from accounts created the day of the request with 0 posts. Do others generally give stuff to these people or do you generally hold off for more established members?

Or you'll get the really great Ms. Marvel character and series. Cheaper paper (and thus worse production values) is probably not going to help anything (unless you're talking reprints only which...probably still isn't going to help). The problem with comics can't be solved without a different distribution model to go along with ensuring they still fill a disposable entertainment niche. Which is why there's so many digital pushes for comics. They need to get them back in newsstands, at a cheap enough price point that parents are like "ok sure" when their kids bring them up to them in line. 5 dollars an issue is silly. when they were 10-25 cents in the 70s that's like a 2000% increase in price.

Journalism and sexism in the games industry
As a comic fan, I've noticed a sort of self-hatred growing among some who seem to be ashamed of being nerds(particularly white male nerds). Funny thing is that their cries for "diversity" rarely result in new characters being created and instead result in gimmicks like Falcon being Captain America for 9-18 months. And I'd say a #comicsgate needs to happen over the pricetag and cheap paper some comics are printed on. Goddamn are those things expensive. I was discussing with a friend how marvel and dc need to start releasing a kids line on newsprint for a buck an issue, if they want more fans.

The Weird, Random, and Interesting things that Fit Nowhere Else Thread..
I think the biggest thing that needs to come in to play when discussing religion is respect. Athiests aren't somehow flawed or "don't understand gods love" or whatnot just because they dont believe, and religious people arent morons because they have faith. One of the best discussions I experienced online was a baptist answering questions from athiests. When both sides can respect the other you can get great discussions.
