  1. Went home a couple of hours early from work to see if me and my father could snap some photos of Venus, Jupiter, Mercury or Mars, and against what the forecast said earlier... clouds.
  2. The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration just signed a deal with Finnish SACO to supply us with new rifles for our army. https://www.fmv.se/aktuellt--press/aktuella-handelser/fmv-tecknar-avtal-om-eldhandvapen/
  3. I remember last year around this time I got an MRI for my shoulder, to see if it could be fixed surgically, getting the MRI itself wasn't any issue, but it took four months before they decided that it'd take to long to find someone to look at it, so they snailmailed it to Spain for someone to look at the images. Took a total of 6 or so months after the MRI to get the results -.-
  4. On a lil' bit different note, yesterday someone nicked our FM transmitter that we use in one of our tractors to listen to music, I can't stand listening to radio; Either you get **** music, or you get slightly less **** music and commercials. So I bought one today, and one can say that I threw away 30$ for nothing. It's so weak that unless I put my hand on the transmitter, it doesn't transmit powerfully enough to be picked up by the radio. I'm of half a mind to see if I can solder some other transmitter to it to amp up the signal.
  5. What Bartimaeus said, you really ought to double and triple check that your medicine doesn't interact with grapefruit. To my great dismay, most of mine has interactions so I've had to give it up, it's my favourite drink
  6. There's no half german gibberish here though, it's actual proper Swedish, with very poetic lyrics that are immensly suitable for the Naofumi and Raphtalias relationship.
  7. Watching In/spectre, the name intrigued me, sounded like some detective stuff with spirits, which could be fun. It hasn't been a dissapointment so far, but I'm not exactly blown away either, but I've laughed atleast twice, so there's that!
  8. I've watched Rising of the Shield Hero a couple of times, but today was the first time I actually heard this in the background; I'm immensely surprised to hear Swedish in an anime
  9. A video of said actions, hope it works https://ljsp.lwcdn.com/api/video/embed.jsp?id=14203c44-f4c5-40b5-b451-d0bf912dc6bd&pi=undefined
  10. We don't have any laws that prohibit us from burning religious books, and people tend to use that right to protest against Islam (Usually a person of Danish and Swedish citizenship that does it). There are alot of flag burnings and stuff like that, the ME was pretty angry a couple of months ago. Theres also an conspiracy going on about Swedish Social Services kidnapping/forcefully taking muslim babies and selling them to Swedish foster homes. As for China, we also gave Gui Minhai, that we're trying to get back home from being kidnapped from Thailand, and we keep airing critical TV shows about China and such. Sámi have more than a little right to be pissed at us, we continue to **** them over. But we're not good enough at sports to foster any amount of hate Funny thing, in the 70's or something like that, Norway offered Sweden a cut from their oil in exchange for stakes in Volvo. We said no. Big oof. We don't hate Norway, we jealous.
  11. It's got Monica Bellucci in it. The rest is in the title. Clive Owens and Paul Giamatti are also in there if Monica isn't convincing enough.
  12. Have you seen Shoot 'em up?
  13. Yeah, it's soooo bad at times, but then Dark Schneider casts "Ozzy Iommi Geezer" or something and I can't stop chuckling
  14. Watching "Bastard!!", and I can't decide if I hate it or dislike it, but the references are great fun
  15. You are generally right, I was just venting a little there, that kid kind of likes me because I also have long hair. He's still scared ****less of me when I speak though, but atleast he doesn't cry anymore His little sister is a bit more brave though, she hugged me the last time she met me, much to the astonishment of her parents and me. We've got a 20 year old program at work to track, assign and register arrivals/departures that is only able to run through Internet Explorer. This week has been fun and not at all chaotic for traffic managers. They developed a "cloud based variant" that barely works so they had to type everything up in emails and send to the central office and have them deal with it instead.
  16. @ShadySands Congratulations! Me and my friends spoke about this the last time we were in the sauna, one of them works as a preschool teacher and the other has kids, and has just enrolled his oldest in one. His oldest kid is very feminine, long hair, he loves his dresses and dolls. There hadn't been a single issue at the preschool until one of the parents flipped their **** as they found out a boy was looking so much like one of the girls, and at that moment they started tormenting him. Once an adult said it was wrong. Things calmed down though after the parent was given the threat of having to take their kid to another place, and was given a little speech to memorize and say infront of the kids.
  17. We've got a storm warning here, I was real sneaky though, one of the trucks 'sploded a gasket at work so it'll be out of commission 'til monday so I took half of today and tomorrow off
  18. I miss the Tarja era aswell, her style really stood out, and she was good at it. Shes also my favourite because she is one of the reasons that I listen to metal, I doubt I'd have liked it if I hadn't heard Nightwish in the beginning. I really like the music they've done with Floor aswell, her blend of singing styles is really great to my ears. I doubt you'd get much disagreement with them treating their singers badly, but mein got im himmel, Anette over Floor? That's worse than ketchup on pancakes Atleast the drama around Tarja leaving did give us "The Poet and the Pendulum", which is a great piece.
  19. And this is with telemetry turned off.
