CHOOCHOOCHOO!

Yeah, I bought my car for 21000SEK in 2016, and I've found similar ones in worse quality go for more than the double I gave. I suspect local laws would govern what counts as a totaled vehicle. If it's the same as here, it's in the owners hands, even if it's just a ball of scrapmetal. Passing inspection might be an issue though

Yep, but not necessarily sanctioned though. I know that spotify lets you download their tracks to your computer, but I don't think there is any player outside of spotify that handles them, I haven't looked it up. I didn't follow it at the time, but there was some lawsuit several years ago from the children of a person that had died. He'd spent alot of money buying music digitally, and the kids wanted their inheritance. I don't know how that went though.

Thankfully no CCTV around there Finally done with my car, managed to fab up some 30mm spacers for the rear springs to raise the back end a little since it used to look like it was leaning backwards a bit all the time. Now it's definetly leaning forwards instead. Like, alot I can actually feel it when sitting in it. Granted, I didn't want to make it 30mm spacers, I wanted 20, but the only scrap metal I could get hold of was 15mm thick so I had to make do!

I doubt a wand would've caught the toy, but I think a proper walk-through metal detector could've worked.

I went to the garage and changed to my summer tyres. On the way back to drop off my father, we suddenly heard a weird scraping sound, turned out one of the bands that keeps the petroltank in place had rusted through and was dragging on the ground. Not too bad, not a hard job to fix, not to expensive. Continued the last 500 metres until we were at my fathers place. Jacked the car up and suddenly heard a clanging noise, both looked at each other with a WTF expression, bent down and looked underneath the car. The left rear spring was lying on the ground instead of sitting in it's place. ****. Rusted through and broken in both ends.

Heh, hands down, the worst car I've had the displeasure of riding in was my friends Peugeot 206CC, that he used to carpool me and two other coworkers with. 40km every day in that frigging shoebox and he insisted on running cab down during summer. I've never feared so much for my life in a car ever, I felt safer when mapping my dads engine doing 250km/h in an old 740, no cage. Had we flipped everything above my shoulders would be gone. Sounds like a lovely place
