  1. By that very definition, you can go whatabout crazy. US invading the Middle East, Blackwaters actions and so on. My favourite is a video from an US attack helicopter painting civilians from a couple of clicks away. The ****er is trying to deal with the CCP, **** him, the least I can do is meme about them. Atleast we didn't try and encourage the Allies to negotiate peace with the Nazis.
  2. Ofcourse he would, he's French, surrendering is all those ****ers are good for
  3. I used to play every weekend, almost every day when at vacation, but just before the pandemic I got burned out with 5e and the others weren't interested in changing to anything else. During the pandemic they went even further down the 5e rabbit hole and played online, something that doesn't suit me. I really dislike having maps and figurines and whatnot, I just want the gamemaster, dice, notepads and character sheets. I tried getting into playing it online for a while but it feels like ****, and I've not had an idea for a character in ages, so I haven't played for a year or something. We did try to start a Rogue Trader campaign back in July last year, but it fell off quickly and they went back to 5e online, so I stopped playing. Then with the OGL hubbub I deleted my roll20 and beyond accounts. They're getting back to the tabletop but they're playing ****ing Vampire which I dislike even more than 5e, I suggested letting me play a Princess: The Hopeful character, knowing full well that the GM say no, but he actually gave it consideration. Seems they miss me I've played way to many systems to count, but my favourites are 2d20 (Conan and Mutant Chronicles) & Fantasy Flights Warhammer 40k games (Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader and so on).
  4. I think that'd fly over most of their heads though, I mean... they don't think having neo-nazis in the government is that much of a problem...
  5. Watched some Gate - Thus the JSDF Fought There. I find it quite enjoyable so far, makes me think about Tried watching some of madoka, but it's really not floating my boat, even though the premise is good
  6. Unsurprisingly, I've not met many people at work and such that seem to mind. Most common logical error being "I've got nothing to hide". Most people also don't have a basic comprehension that putting backdoors into encryption makes encryption practically irrelevant. Oh well.
  7. That would fit very well into the EU/Swedish plan to mass surveil everything, like "Chat Control 2.0"
  8. True, but it could be from cameras inside the containment, atleast that is how I interpreted it.
  9. Right, forgot to add in the link. It's a mobile payment system, with about 80% of people in Sweden using it. The banks here are doing their damndest to stop using cash at all, so they can rake in even more profits in the end. I'm vehemently against it though and do my best to use cash as much as possible.
  10. I very much doubt many of the companies selling those are above board either, forcing banks to keep handling cash is more satisfying. My deepest wish is that programs such as Swish be banned. On the plus side, I got to act as a bank around here when someone ddos'd the card readers for foodstores. For some reason though, I'm still viewed as a nutter
  11. I never had a trust in banks to begin with, but it took a turn for the worse towards hatred when a childhood friend of mine started studying to become a banker. 2008 didn't help make it any better either. I was cranky as all hell when my employer refused to pay me in cash instead of a bank transfer. Bastards.
  12. Yeah, all of the losses are focused around people born in 1979 or later, so it hits us that haven't had a chance to work up a whole lot of pension funds yet.
  13. Forgot about this gem actually; My company pension plan was managed by Alecta whom sold off all their shares in Swedish Handelsbanken (That they'd had for 71 years) to buy more shares in american niche banks, most prominently Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank. "Only" 20 billion SEK lost
  14. To be fair, if I were to leave Sweden, Canada is likely where I'd go. Got relatives in Vancouver. I just need to win a fem mil on the lottery first so I can rent an apartment for a couple of days
  15. The hardon our politicians have for yankee politics and policies here is embarrassing as ****.
  16. I didn't want to be as pessimistic as to say that we're already there.
  17. Well, yeah, that'd quite likely come way before that I reckon.
  18. Eh, not so much the country as the jobs or lack thereof that I have had, I'm trying to stay positive that the pension age is just 70 though, it'll likely be 75. Then again... the way people keep voting for the right wing politicians, and the way they've already dismantled our social security nets, my mother that can barely walk or even lift a coffee cup was expected to reeducate herself into something like a psychologist at age 62, I dare not even think where we'd be at in 35-40 years.
  19. Damn, the most nostalgia I feel right now is being able to carry a 21" CRT from one end of Gothenburg to the other without breaking a sweat, I miss being fit I still have my two Voodoo 2 cards lying about somewhere, and a TNT2 aswell.
  20. As things stand at the moment, I'm going to get a 200€ pension when I'm 70. "Thankfully" the government steps in and guarantees atleast 900€, not that that actually is enough to cover anything nowadays. My private pension is going to be a shotgun I think.
  21. I might aswell, Ayakashi Triangle is on another pause until june or something like that, and I'm running out of entertainment
  22. Found a magical girl anime I can get behind; Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka. A shame there isn't more of it, I really like the premise. Blood and gore, PTSD and such lovely things.
