  1. Rumor: Crysis (the first one, yeah) coming to consoles.
  2. It's either going to or gonna. Anyway, hopefully the blog will update more frequently compared to the website's frontpage.
  3. It's worth noting that Alice is getting price cuts pretty much everywhere (including a $20 price cut on Amazon, which would explain why it's selling so well now, considering it did pretty badly initially, as far as I recall). Still, staying on-topic, all the reports I've seen so far seem to indicate that Dungeon Siege III is not doing well sales-wise.
  4. I don't see the logic behind the jump from "highly stylized" to "cartoony", to be honest. From what we can gather, it just means that the game will be, no **** Sherlock, stylized. Whether the title will look like a Saturday morning cartoon, a Frank Miller's work or an impressionist painting is to anyone's guess. EDIT: Just to clarify, I don't want to sound smug. I just don't understand where the assumption came from. Is it because of World of Warcraft? The new wave of similar-looking action-RPG like Torchlight and Crimson Alliance?
  5. Icewind Dale 3? One can hope. Though it would clash with uncle Feargus' desire to dumb down character generation. By the way, they're ramping up the job offers. 2D VFX Animator: Flash Artist Intern (again?) 2D Environment Intern: 2D Environment Illustrator: Yup, they're definitely working on a 2D game.
  6. ??????????????????????????????????????????????
  7. Motherplougher.
  8. To sum up your post: Umm, you forgot something? I didn't.
  9. To sum up your post:
  10. Am seriously thinking about investing time in Stalker 2 now its dirt cheap on Amazon. Any views? Consensus is that it's the weakest of the bunch but there's still a pretty amazing modding community and Stalker games are generally p. decent, as long as you can forgive the quirks. Btw, Clear Sky is cheap pretty much everywhere.
  11. Xbox 360 "about halfway through its life cycle"
  12. Doubtful. All signs point to Mythic working on some kind of Ultima project, rumored to be a browser game and/or a remake of Ultima IV.
  13. Just to clarify, the registry entries are there because the pre-order DLC is downloaded from Steam. Don't believe me? Search for any other pre-order DLC that is distributed through Steam there, e.g. the ones from Fallout: New Vegas. So it's not actually a leak.
  14. So, nothing new on the Obs boards? Reception for KOTOR2, NWN2 (base game), MotB, and then F:NV were all pretty positive overall. Other titles release by Obsidian (including the DLC for New Vegas) were a mixed bag though, yeah.
  15. Wouldn't they be on list anyway because you download them from Steam? Or am I missing something there?
  16. Tale, you aren't a moderator you shouldn't being.. oh, wait, you are. Guess that since I'm doing round-ups on GameBanshee I can post a couple of reviews here and stay on-topic. Negative stuff: CrunchGear, scoreless. Honest Gamers, 4. Positive stuff: Softpedia, 7.5. Raiding Party, 7. Blistered Thumbs, 7. Very mixed reception overall.
  17. You really should. Personally, I can't see where the gem part of flawed gem is going by the demo, but you may have a different opinion.
  18. There's a demo you can try, you know.
  19. It's now #9 on Steam, but it's really difficult to understand how the sales went on there since it wasn't tracked for the European release.
  20. For the more enterprising/DIY people, this post from the Something Awful forums may interest you. Absolutely no idea if that works, I haven't even received my copy of the game yet.
  21. I never intended to pass judgment on the whole community but to reduce the condescending attitude to "sorophx and a few new entries" is.. well, reductionist.
  22. I may get overly defensive, but I also find it amusing you don't seem to mind the flood of overly hostile critiques like calling the game a '****ty Dragon Age knock-off'. "They did it first!" is a bad defense. You haven't really addressed my criticism, you have tried to divert attention. Especially since, I actually never said that the rudeness is justified. But yeah, personally, I'm more concerned to how the Obsidian community reacts compared to the emotional outburst of the Dungeon Siege fans.
