I guess we'll never agree on this since I see item packs as a "bad-thing-you-should-never-do-unless-the-price-is-ultra-cheap", so I'll just respectfully close it here.

Dunno, maybe it works as in DS3, and the DLC items have a monetary value of zero? Nope, it doesn't. I got the tribal pack with my copy of New Vegas and I can easily sell the items and make some money at the beginning of the game if I don't have a character geared towards melee.

It's over two dozen weapons + new ammo subtypes + mods + new combat challenges and achievements. And Bethesda is still pricing it only 6 ?/$ less than add-ons lasting from 6 to 8 hours, with all-new locations, assets, voice-acting, etc. etc. so, to be fairly honest, my judgment doesn't really change? Still, more power (and sales) to you! EDIT: And of course, since I'm a blind fanboy, I'll probably get it, I just don't like the standard price.

I'm starting to doubt that Obsidian will announce any other full-blown project this year... which is disappointing, considering I'm still skeptical on the possibility of some DLC for Dungeon Siege III that isn't some kind of free patch + a couple of abilities new enemies/maybe an arena mode to raise sales. Would be glad to be proven wrong on all accounts, though.

Damn, just a little more than a week before my exams, I'll be in full studies mode. EDIT: Also seeing weapon packs coming for New Vegas is.. disappointing. As much as I love the game, spending 4 euros to get a Bozar and some Nuka Cola trinkets seems a little too much. Will wait for the inevitable Steam sales.

I don't know, I enjoyed that fight. It's not that well designed, but it was one of the few I found challenging with Reinhart during the endgame.

But in WoW, the people suck. I really liked 'vanilla' WoW though, the later expansions just seemed to make things worse or less fun for me, for some reason. There are a few million people playing the game, so I'm sure there are a few people you might like. Of course you'd have to wade through a sea of losers to find them I have a couple groups of friends that play different MMO's and I usually stick with playing with them. Every once in awhile I'll meet someone new, but for the most part I avoid general chat and the like. Actually right now Blizz is staring down the barrel of constantly dropping subscription numbers. They dropped from 12 million to 11.1 million, and since that last data was registered Cataclysm was released in China. I'd say it shouldn't be underestimated, but not blown out of proportions either. WoW still is THE MMO.

I expect at least the voice work to be there just because it was an obviously staged video? Because frankly it looked even more like Gears of War. Then again, they're trying to sell it to a certain crowd, so it's to be expected.

DmC Gamescom footage I'm unconvinced. Looks are not so bad (except for Dante) but gameplay looks.. sluggish?
