  1. I liked the fourth one, it had a good combination of psychological thriller and noir. Also I agree with what you said about the first one, it is still one of the best horror movies I've seen. Very unique.
  2. She said yes! More details when I get home tomorrow! We all expect to be invited to the wedding. Even oby? Who else can do the toast?
  3. Aren't you getting a little old for this Emo crap? Just remember that you aren't living in India or Africa and count your blessings, ya privileged **** At least if I was in Africa or India I'd have somebody who could help me out with this **** instead of just saying "I've got my own problems, have fun with yours, you privileged ****!" Ehh, no you wouldn't. Just think if people in privileged countries are selfish asses who rather let the entire world suffer before they accept a lower standard of living, just how selfish would be the ones that live with real necessity. Short story is, everyone's by themselves and you are just brooding. The sooner you get over it the sooner you can do something about it and if there is nothing to do about it then there is no sense in brooding.

  5. ...a many splendored thing it's the April rose that only grows in the early spring...
  6. I'll see your pic and raise you these
  7. You should had yelled a few "Oh no, You didn't! " into the courtroom
  8. More short haired women, really short haired
  9. It's pretty clear from the OP that this thread's actually "this obscure company should make my ideal dream FPS, let me tell you all about it." I see no reason why not to derail this thread, after all when has a thread stayed on point? With the one about pictures of pretty girls being the exception.
  10. In the interest of giving them the benefit of doubt, i'm going to say that they may have worked on some low key games which ended up being scrapped which is why no one heard about them. It is a fairly common thing actually.
  11. Fixed it.
  12. Let me be the first to invite you to the Patrick Stewart look alike club.
  13. You are probably finding the narrative confusing. I read a few times on there forums that people didn't know what was the purpose or reason for character x. Let us know if there anything that didn't make sense with the story Yes, how come when you become a boss in the triad you're still the towel boy for everyone else? That was the turning point for me, when the opportunity was perfect to introduce another mechanic(maybe some form of management) or at least open sidequests related to it. Instead they ask you to do a few fetch quest and hang out with some people who you only see once and then they disappear forever. Kind of like the girlfriends, I always thought that Wei was so bad in bed that he couldn't keep a girlfriend and that its why I beat the porkbuns guy. He was belittling my manhood.
  14. I'm not sure that the story was a high point either, seems like it starts to lose focus midway through. Plus a lot of the characters are presented and then never used again, wonder where they go?
  15. Grammar:"The Thread"
  16. They both starred on Breaking Bad?
  17. They're the true believers, there is no doubt in their minds that their religion is fact and their ideology overpowers even their sense of self preservation. The reason why you can't argue with men like that is that there is no room for doubt in their minds.
  18. You may want to add more figures of speech or something to make the story interesting without resorting to over description. Unless you've been reading A song of Fire & Ice in which I forgive you for describing everything in detail as you probably can't help yourself.
  19. hmm no not ecactly they did actuly manage to make intruieq in games like dragon age origen If you're referring to the brief moments when you're dealing with the trial of Loghain, that was too short to be of any relevance. I don't think there are that many game that deal with political intrigue, much less that do it well. It just seems like a subject which requires the entire story to be melded around it. Really? I thought the entire backstory of Loghain etc. was one of the better parts of the game especially when you add Anora to the mix. Oh well, no biggie. Playing a dwarven noble gives you an entire backstory with a lot of political intrigue. In fact, it puts the entire Orzammar situation in an entire new light. Maybe I'm not wording myself right, I am not critizing DA:O or saying that they didn't do intrigue well. It is just that it was small pockets in between what the bulk of the game is building an army. Even the Witcher 2 who at the core of its story had political intrigue didn't deal directly with it but rather put the protagonist doing what they do best which is hunting monsters. So far I haven't seen a game in which implements political intrigue as a core mechanic vital to the progress of the story.
  20. You could always do what this guy did:

  22. By which you mean sex, incest and orgies?
  23. Excerpt from the Wikipedia page on pit bulls: "A study questioned the bull dog reputation as a dangerous breed. An electronic search of newspaper articles by Raghavan found that pit bull terriers were responsible for 1 (4%) of 28 dog-bite-related fatalities reported in Canada from 1990–2007. The study also noted that: A higher proportion of sled dogs and, possibly, mixed-breed dogs in Canada than in the United States caused fatalities, as did multiple dogs rather than single dogs. Free-roaming dog packs, reported only from rural communities, caused most on-reserve fatalities. The total number of fatal dog attacks from the 17-year period is equal to about 1 fatal attack per year, while the Clifton Report, a study that includes the 1990–2007 period in the Canadian Veterinary Journal Study, shows an average of 6 fatalities attributed to pit bulls alone annually in the U.S. and Canada. The Clifton Report notes that one limitation is that even experts may disagree as to the breed of a particular dog. In a project called the "Calgary Model," legislation addressing bad owners instead of breeds has been the focus. After implementation, which included fining the owner $350–$1,500 in dog bite cases, there was a 25-year low in the incidence of such cases. Several studies determined that pit bull owners, and owners of other "vicious" or "high risk" breeds (most commonly identified as Akita, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler, and Wolf-mix), are more likely to have criminal convictions and are more likely to display antisocial behaviors. A 2006 study compared owners of "high risk" dogs to owners of "low risk" dogs. "High risk" dogs included “vicious” dogs by breed (e.g., pit bulls) or “vicious” actions (e.g., any dog that had bitten, attacked, or killed a person or other animal). The study determined that "high risk" dog owners had nearly 10 times as many criminal convictions than did "low risk" dog owners.[47] A 2009 study[48] and a followup 2012 study generally supported these findings."
