Why I am not not surprised that Volo prefers a dwarf's hairy chest to boobs?

Witcher fans confirmed for no less delusional than Bioware fans. I don't generally see too many Witcher fan, but during my short stay at the BSN I saw romance threads for every possible character, after a character's reveal the inevitable question of "are they romanceable?", custom signatures supporting romances, as well as the usual LGTB related thread. I don't think that Witcher fan's can fill shoes that big. Plus how many Witcher fans are there? 10?

By this point you probably have heard, played enough BW games that you can have a reasonable expectation of what it will be. If you think that BW are crap then why do you waste your time with them?

Is a BW game, if you stare at a wall long enough you'll get sex scene.

Hmm, this got me thinking...is it be better to include several variables(like one save, limited resting, etc,) and allow players to create their own "Ironman" modes than to create a certain set of conditions and label it "Ironman"? I believe it is. It is convenient to allow players to create their own Ironman or self nerf in order to make up for the game's mechanics which in a True Ironman would prevent the player from progressing. The advantage is that when the developers create an Ironman mode they have taken into consideration all of the game's working and are better suited to the task. They're probably the ones that know if its possible to complete the game in Ironman mode.

I disagree. The emphasis of South Park has maybe shifted from random toilet humor and elementary schoolers' weird adventures to parodying and present events and (pop) culture. The toilet humor and sometimes Earthbound'ish adventuring is still there, but it's kind of become a method through which Trey Parker expresses his cynicism. I'd call The Last of the Meheecans one of my favorite episodes, and that's season 15 Sometimes the new formula fails to yield anything funny, its because social commentary restricts you to the subject which is why I prefer the old formula as it felt more fluid. Plus, a lot of times they focus on a single linear story with no subplots (something that they used to do) so I guess that they deliberately constrain themselves to their formula? IDK, I still like the show though.

Before you start your program try doing some research on it, look for anecdotal of students that have been through the program, and college reviews online. Game Design programs have been popping around colleges and most of them are a scam. Unless you're willing to go the extra mile and be basically a self taught student or you're just doing it for the degree, then it's not worth it. Have you decided on a specialization yet? It is something that you want to do early so you put the most work towards it and develop your portfolio around it. Other than that; good luck, this is a tough field and you're going to need it.

Expressing gratitude improves one's own happiness?
Orogun01 replied to alanschu's topic in Way Off-Topic
There's actually a link in the video description to the study. Apparently the University of Pennsylvania is a hive of pseudoscience that somehow worms its way into reputable scientific journals. http://www.ppc.sas.upenn.edu/articleseligman.pdf That said, one study alone cannot be considered concrete confirmation of a hypothesis. Correlation is not causation, as so many laymen fail to understand. I feel like i'm understood, that makes me happy I was actually a little taken aback when I saw their channel I thought they were more activist of happiness than actual scientist, but that's just my opinion. -
Maybe he has PR training?

I'm really grateful for all that pseudosience, now I know that all those times I felt so happy that I needed to thank someone for what they did to make it so were cause by expressing gratitude. -
Not really, I realized a long time ago that my body hates me.

My thoughts: **** that! Thanks to globalization I'm now competing against a bunch of art farms in China that because they are run under slave labor can afford lower costs, outsourcing eliminates low level and mid management jobs which in turn ruins the local economy. Unless you develop a global standards for working environments it is an awful idea.

You are comparing a physical disability with mental trauma, I don't think that you can quantify pain but at the very least apples to apples and whatnot. After all, you can't see rape in your profile pictures.

Whatever you do please don't tell her your view on the feminist movement and women's representation in gaming. That definitely won't win you any points Considering that she is Jewish and I have made Holocausts jokes in front of her just to piss her off, I doubt anything I say will shock her anymore.

On an unrelated note one of my mother's childhood nicknames for me was Scarface...cause I had a lot of scars on my face not cause I was a gangster.

I hope you're not talking about the crappy American remake with Tom Cruise. There are some issues with VR, particularly how it gets depicted on fiction. Namely from having such an extensive knowledge of the brain's working that allows to create software that interacts with machines, and the fact that the processors need to exceed the speed of thought processes. We are still very far away from true VR. The Occulus Rift will change the industry in that a lot of the tricks that developers use for games will be rendered obsolete due to depth perception. You may want to read about the Singularity and transhumanism, the Singularity is a term that was coined by Isaac Asimov for the moment when human consciousness is uploaded into a machine.

Skyped with a girl for 3 hours today trying to get her started on learning Zbrush, apparently since I'm married to my work the only thing I can hope for are threeways.

Japanese Brazilians have an interesting history, there was a big immigration wave around 1900. A lot of Japanese in Peru as well. Yep, as well as the Chinese migrations of the 1920's. Basically the big depression caused a lot Asians to pack up for greener pastures. I know they have Little Japan in Brazil which is the district where they settled and it closely resembles the actual Japan styles. Anyways, carry on.
