This would be AMAZING ~~~~~ A ~LOT~ of my Dandelions and Husky Weeds were "Harvest Once" and they never grew back ..... ever ...... I'm on Game Day 610 and slowly running out of Weeds that still grow back ... ~Y E S ~ or just let me mark a container with the item that goes in it .. and have the icon for that item show on the container ... We can already do this. .... You probably mean the cone webs the Weavers leave around ... We should be able to Harvest those .... I Can NOT Agree With This MORE .... There are several uses for Acorn Shells .... and very very few uses for Acorn Tops ... I usually just destroy all the Tops ... they have no functional use ... On the rare case that I need Tops .. I just go harvest them right then ... cause I can ALWAYS use more Shells, and it's a good excuse to go get some.

Playing on PC When I'm Transferring items from a container to my personal inventory ... I can not place anything in the last empty slot anything that goes in the last slot vanishes forever side note ~ I've found the trashcan ! .... but can we make the trashcan a separate slot?

so .. Roofing already has a Stem foundation outline ... keep the Stems... and add some feathers the hard quill-tip up so that water runs out and down ... plenty of Woven Fiber to hold it all together ... Straight Feathered Roof Piece 1 Stem 3 Feathers 2-3 Woven Fiber Corner Angle Feathered Roof Piece (the original one) 1 Stem 2 Feathers 2 Woven Fiber Pitched Corner Feathered Roof Piece 2 Stem 3 Feathers 4 Woven Fiber similar for the upside down piece I think it'd look absolutely awesome .... Feathers are fantastic at shedding water .. and MUCH more durable and lasting than clover ... again .. like many of my posts .... giving us more construction options Thanks Again Love Your Faces ~Gnith~ #NoTaming

THIS is why I want a Population Slider for each bug type .... I want to be able to tell the game: I'm happy with THIS amount of (Gnats/Ants/Larvae) ..... I don't need 40K MORE

I've seen the Bomabadiers sit there and do nothing but shoot acid at me .... at first I thought that was ALL they did .... I finally managed to kill my first one by getting him stuck on a rock and throwing pebbets at him till he died ... took well over an hour

This is definitely something I can support, and also touched on myself ... Tho I was mostly talking about the bug population levels ... but it all ties together as Customizable World Options

Ladybugs randomly wander THE ENTIRE YARD .... took me 2 days - actual days, not game days - to find one ... get out there and Hunt !

mostly I play Solo, but multiplayer is a LOT of silly fun ... also ... I'm building a village .. and 4 people is a dinnerparty ... not a village ... but 8 players opens a world of possibilities .... PvP (for the people who haven't figured out you can already do it) all sorts of Team fun ... 90% of which will be player created ... no matter what Obsidian does .... LOL I've already seen people streaming Timed Live Building Challenges with just 2 players ... which is a lot more entertaining when they're NOT in Creative You could have BURG.L quests for Group hunting challenges, competitive hunting challenges, races.. (reach the mark in a certain timeframe - or beat another players time) a lot of that you could do with only 4 people ...but 8 greatly expands your options any more than 8 feels crowded with the size of yard we have ...

~ ALL ~ OF ~ THIS ~ I don't play ARK ... cause I think it's dumb If this becomes Tiny Ark in the Backyard .... Either there will be an option to turn off taming ... or I'll quickly get bored with a game suddenly turned boring, and leave ... If the Difficulty Curve of the game goes from the Terror of your first spider encounter ... to ... Riding a Wolf Spider while screaming ~ I OWN THE WORLD ~ ... in 2 easy steps ... That's not fun .... or a game I'll continue playing. As it is right now ... I love it ... I LOVE IT I don't need it to get more difficult, it has a good balance right now. I will enjoy and love more content, new areas, and will continue loving more content and new areas for as long as Obsidian continues releasing such. But ~ The Day that Grounded becomes "Yet Another" cutesy pet game, where you just make your pets go do everything for you ... That ... is The Day that I walk out the door. Obsidian, I love what you are doing! .. Please keep doing it. Just PLEASE don't turn this into a Taming Game. Grounded is a Beautiful Gem, Rare and Fragile. It needs polishing ... not cutting. ~Gnith~ Love Your Faces #NoTaming

Patch 0.2.1 has been Released
Gnith replied to Shyla's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I've been building an Entire Lilliput Village in the backyard .... at this point .... "Start a new Save Game" .... is about the same as telling me ... "Go find another Game to Play" Also .... I'm still on the Original Save from the first time I loaded the game on Release Day Game Day 577 so far ... my Save Loads ... and nothing has been added that has destroyed/changed any of my buildings ... benefits of building in odd places ... -
it's 3 .... 1, 2, Many

The game needs more quests .. and more recurrent quests ... but preferably NOT just a list of static quests that you see over and over ... I'd love to see a randomized quest generator ... like Simple Example <Hunt/Collect> <X many> <Item/bug> for < X amount Science / Item Reward> then the system fills in the variables ... Reward is delivered to a Cache Basin for you to Collect obviously this is a very simple conceptualization that can easily be greatly altered in a huge variety of ways Also .. the biggest thing this would bring to the game ... Something to do for the more Goal Based players, who often find themselves lost in an Open World Game without structured Goals and things to work towards. Because those players: Killed a Spider Killed an Ant Found the Lab Built a House Finished the Current Story ..... and will never be back again ... Because they're Done ... there's nothing else for them to do The List is all To lure those players back ..... you need more so that they can

I definitely agree there NEEDS to be improvements to the enjoyment of Archery Combat ... Fighting with a bow is a completely experience, and should be treated as such. It shouldn't be just to pop a quick shot off at something to force it to charge you ... Archery is about Hunting, Stalking, being smarter than your prey. There's nothing about hitting something in the face with a Mallet that says "Being Smarter Than Your Prey". That's all about having a bigger Mallet. also .... I would really love if bugs kept their damage for a bit so that when an area becomes over populated ... I can lob in a Gas Arrow, wait till it runs out and lob another .... till the population is more in check.

Building in most games is difficult and buggy... What I've found that helps ... is having multiple "Anchor Points" Points where a building piece intersects something solid in the game world. The ground, a rock, boulder, juicebox, tree ... Oddly as difficult as those pieces are to place sometimes ... they also anchor the structure to the world. When you place a piece it's anchored to one or more pieces next to it. When you destroy a piece, anything that used the piece you destroyed as an anchor WILL deconstruct. giving these pieces multiple anchor points to unchangeable parts of the world helps to stabilize your structure, and prevent De-Construction Crashes.

Feedback: Quick Craft Items
Gnith replied to daniel.robert.campbell's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
There is an icon in the menu noting certain things that are Hot Craftable. I don't know how to do that, or if it's something intended that's not completed and implemented yet ... But this could definitely be linked to the HotBar ... So that when you toggle that bar option if the item is there ~ equip it, if not ~ craft then equip it, if broken ~ repair then equip it Also I definitely like the HOLD option for secondary response. So that if you just tap it, it will ONLY Equip (or try to), and won't Craft/Repair unless you HOLD. -
I Absolutely LOVE This !!! I get that it would be a decent bit of Dev work. ... but it would be amazing, and as you said Educational to help everyone better understand the tiny creatures living all around us. I would love to see this with a tiny crafted book item. Perhaps you have to bring Burg.L the parts and he crafts it. (I want to see Burg.L doing more things) If you lose it, Burg.L can make you a new one, updated with only the information you've registered with him in the new book. ~side note~ This would also give us a new decorative item, to place on our tables. Possibly in the future a specialized writing desk. A Field Guide makes a great deal of sense as well. We're playing characters that are teenagers. Anyone that did any sort of Scouting, you have a Field Guide. You see Field Guides in the local grocery store next to the register ... it's a common item, and a thing the Teenagers would create to help each other. Having a section of Real World information on the creatures found in the Grounded Backyard would add a significant depth and richness to the game. Wonderful Idea phyerboss ! #NoTaming

Volume of Grubs Moving Underground Is Too Loud
Gnith replied to Deadshot Colada's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
I think it's also .. the wrong sound ... what we're hearing is what you'd hear if something the size of a school bus or larger ... suddenly burst it's way up through stone and concrete .... we are NOT hearing the sound of something the size of a grub poking it's head up through soft moist earth ... it should be a light moist-wet sucking sound with a dirt and gravel friction .... it's shouldn't sound like Hulk having a tantrum in the Rock Quarry -
Eggs respawn fiexd?
Gnith replied to The Real Mapo's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I can now see the "Marker Egg" ~ that's New to me as of update 0.02 but I've still never seen a Lootable Egg -
yeah ... I built a berry catcher under the low berry at the corner of the hedge... there are now 3 feathers under the water there ... occasionally I can swim at them and kick them up ... but not always
