  1. HOLY BALLS ~YES~ I can stack MORE grass or stem in the same amount of space that a storage sits in .... Currently the ONLY reasons to use the Grass and Stem storages is for looks ... and to cut down on system load from having the items bouncing on top of each other constantly An Acorn Chest holds something close to 300 Pebbets .... but a Stem Storage holds what ... 24 Stems ?? I've probably spent easily 80% of my 730+ Game Days just running back and forth with Stems ...
  2. As someone that has experience and training fighting with a spear .... I love this .... and there is a HUGE difference in style, fighting with the tiny pointy stick they call a spear ... and fighting with a 16 ft Pike .... Give me a 12-16 ft Pike any day over the pointy stick.
  3. I could get behind killing ants to make a sled out of dead ants .... but not connecting a sled to ants .... lets try and not make another ARK ... #NoTaming
  4. It would be REALLY cool to see a huge list of irregular items that don't spawn anywhere .... You can't hunt them down, you can't farm them ... They just get randomly dropped in the yard by the insanely messy scientist that lives here. I'd make them all useful ... but maybe some really rare ones would be game changing. Something that would be completely different every play-through. Glass Shards, Silver Solder, Action figure armor or weapons, mini doll clothes, ..... all sorts of things maybe even weird tech from Ominent....
  5. .... But .... if they ever open up other yards .... or the Conv Store there might be a creek, or a drainage ditch .. that would make a raft ~ Invaluable ~
  6. Previous to this Update, I never had a problem getting in the Mint Container. After the update I do not have a problem getting in the mint container .... because Failing to do something that is IMPOSSIBLE is not really a problem, it is the expected result. After I failed to do the impossible for nearly an hour .... I moved on to other things ... Then a day or two ago I was in Multi-Player with a friend who was streaming Grounded. We failed to do the impossible also for nearly an hour, Live on Stream. However ... having multiple players at the Mint Container at the same time ..... showed us something ... From the View Point of the player Attempting to Enter the Mint Container ... It ~LOOKS~ like you're almost getting in there, and then bouncing back. From the View Point of Another Player standing by... The player attempting to enter the mint container .... is Glitching ALL OVER the Nearby Area .... They appear to be in about 10-15 places at once. Just like when you're trying to build, and the blueprint piece flashes all over the place, then settles to a location ... except it always "settles" the player backwards, and out of the container. I Hope the Devs see this, I hope it helps them fix it. Love Your Faces ~Gnith~ #NoTaming
  7. Halloween Candy maybe a Carved Pumpkin on the porch !, Christmas Lights, Plastic Easter Eggs, New Years Eve Confetti ... and Fireworks in the sky ... these are the only holidays I can think of that you would be able to see and find leftover debris and trash in the backyard in what I suspect is Northern California Tho ..... if we ever get other locations ..... having those holidays change to fit that locale would be AWESOME
  8. Yes .. this is a Fantastic Tutorial Idea .... it would be wonderful for a Tutorial step through of building a simple structure with descriptions of how the pieces were designed to connect together
  9. ANY way to get dropped things out of the water would be FREAKIN AMAZING
  10. this is a known bug in multi-player (even if you use a Multi-player save but you're the only one there) it's on the Official Bug List, they're looking into a fix for it ..
  11. I like what you've done here .... Also ... in the event we get seasons ... or any weather ... mice leather and fuzz would make excellent cold weather gear .... it might be warmer around the grill (when it's on) with a hazard of falling ash and burning charcoal (on the weekends) say once or twice every 7 game days ... I would LOVE to be able to harvest charcoal ... and make a forge for smelting the bits of destroyed Lab laying around ... or maybe other sources of metal ..... I made a Forge already .... but it doesn't do anything ... it just looks cool Bone Armor would be extremely Cool. Little candles that we could put on our tables .... the Shed might have paint ... for painting all our things also ... Ash can be mixed with water, pebblets, sand, and lime to make a decent enough concrete (New Foundation !) or there might just plain be a bag of Quik-Crete in the shed ..... a VERY common home product in the US for people who do yard sculpting projects ... (like putting in a koi pond)
  12. A Praying Mantis would be a nearly impossible opponent to defeat. It's speed and precision are unmatched. Able to snatch a flying Hummingbird from the air. We would be slow, easy prey for them. The mantis is really cool, but I think it would be more than we could handle if made even moderately accurate.
  13. I keep wondering about Seasons. Will they add Seasons? And what will that mean? Obviously some weather changes, but bugs hibernate, migrate, molt, change form completely sometimes. Seasons could bring some VERY strange and interesting changes to the game. Some of my Thoughts... : Different Seasons - Different Bugs Many bugs hibernate, so some bugs would be here all year around, but others wouldn't. Hibernating Bugs would retreat to a home and stay there sleeping entirely through the season, only responding to direct attacks. Some hibernating bugs bury themselves, so they would effectively just be gone during that season. Cocooning Bugs would give a great source of rare crafting items, and possibly food. The fun part is that cocooning bugs tend to change into something else. Which would give us bugs (and crafting resources) that are ONLY available during certain seasons. Weather ~ The Big Obvious Changes in weather add a great deal of that Touch of Reality, bringing a world to life and letting you Immerse in it. Cold is an obvious huge change, and would require heavy coats, or Winter Armor (which SHOULD be too hot to wear any other Season) We've recently seen the addition of Morning and Evening Fog. Most of us are probably terrified of a good heavy rain. Although if the game is set (as I suspect) in California, the rain is never heavy enough to be truly worried about. Which brings about the Location Setting. If we're looking at Coastal California, it's lush, weather is marginally similar all year around, they just DO NOT have the scope and variety of bugs that you see in Texas, or Australia. Location is going to play a HUGE part in adding Seasons and Seasonal Changes (if such ever occurs). But ..... that would only make future DLC in new locations .... much, more interesting. Anyway ... just an idea that's been floating around in my head. "If ya need me, I'll be in the back yard ..." ~Gnith~
  14. I can't see any point in Fast Travel, at all, if we only have the space of a single small backyard. If they open this up to a Whole City Block ... then maybe I can see Fast Travel. Right now you can run from one end of the playable non-construction zone area to the other end ... in approximately 2 minutes with Spider Armor and a Bee Helmet, the Explorer Perk makes you faster too. If you haven't progressed far enough in the game to even HAVE Spider Armor and/or the Bee Armor ... then finish exploring the yard. The whole point of a survival exploration game ~ IS ~ walking around and surviving the dangers. If that's too much for you ... maybe you're playin the wrong game ... This ain't a fast paced game ... we ain't "droppin" nowhere .... we're Grounded.
  15. I have this problem as well ... the Husky Weeds between the Oak and the Pond were ~ Harvest Once ~ items .... I've cut down the stump .... they've been gone well over a Game Year (I'm on Game Day 651) they've been gone so long, that I no longer remember where they were but there is nothing built close to them ... the closest construction is behind the Armed Raspberry Punch-O on the water side of the juice-box There are many other Husky Weeds and Dandelions that no longer respawn. Including several that used to respawn, and have now stopped. I suppose that I am slowly de-weeding the yard however .... as I am primarily a Builder~Player .... I kinda NEED those weeds. Thanks ~ Gnith
  16. Ahhhh .... this is why Woven Fiber is suddenly Crude Rope .... ..... what else did you sneak in there .... also ... Hell Yeah .. and Good Work .... the people with Save Game issues needed immediate help and love
  17. Yeah .... I have friends that love playing these games WITH me .... they love seeing the things that I create and hanging out with me in-game but they get REALLY bored when they run out of quests and things to do on their own often to the point that I end up being their quest-giver ... (fill this container, kill those things ... etc) but without new quests they just talk about how much fun we had .... then they go play a shooty game
  18. LOL ..... It's all good man .... I have done the SAME thing before ..... MANY TIMES
  19. That's really close to my Ultimate Wish for Grounded .... Multiple Completely different settings.... maybe Backyards from Ominent Researchers around the world. (with hopefully different regional architecture in building) and maybe a few extra totally remote locations away from any city ... but with each having it's own unique feel and challenges
  20. \o/ I FIXED IT There was an Invisible Stack of Aphid Honeydew in my Inv I noticed when I picked one up that it said I had 10 more than I could see ... so I put it on my HotBar .... and ate it down to under 10 ..... now it's all working normal !!
  21. for someone like me ..... Now .... I don't have ~ A ~ Base .... I currently have 10 Structures .... most of them Completed .... and I've never built anything with a Grass Wall ... I spend vast amounts of time carrying Stem .... and harvesting Clay .... the ability to transport more stem at once .... would SIGNIFICANTLY change how I spend my time in-game ... I would spend more time planning and constructing my buildings .... and MUCH less time .. just plain running from the Pond to the Hedge with Stems
  22. I never had a problem getting into the Mint Container .... UNTIL there was a Patch to make it "easier" Now I can't manage to get in there at all .... after a half hour .. I gave up
