  1. Why bother. One can play all old PS games on emulator anyway.
  2. I hated the city myself, after that it becomes much better.
  3. Played and finished Dead Island with the Koori character. Liked it better than I perhaps should have. Pretty decent game, had no idea it was developed by Poles either.
  4. 90% sure there's an Atton clone in SWTOR.
  5. I believe Boone's beret gives an extra +5% too. Essentially I had 100% critical chance with the Ratslayer and 50% with Lucky.
  6. When did Double Bear hire Prosper?
  7. Finesse gives you +5% critical chance which is equivalent with +5 luck. So with 10 luck you have 15% base critical chance. Plus 10 luck means you can easily break the bank in every casino.

You didn't post the very best Stratovarius songs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNOHIxD0j_Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzvY77AmLtw Pity everything they released since then is utter crud (same goes for their copycats Sonata Arctica)
  11. I'm not bothering with huge multi book series anymore. Malazan is the only one I'm currently involved in, and it will be the last. At least Erikson churned out the books rather quickly, too. Writers like Bakker & Abercrombie too do not go beyond trilogies followed by standalone novels, which is rather perfect.

  13. Right. But when is out for PC?

  15. Where's the "Shepard waking up in asylum/It was all a dream" ending?
  16. Now that I think of it, I believe Cook actually wrote the books during his shifts while working at General Motors. That explains a lot in the writing style as well. He also was a Vietnam war veteran IIRC which explains the language, "soldiers acting like soldiers".
  17. Saw Prometheus a while back too. Not sure what all the fuzz was about, then again the hype was nearly non-existant in this vale of tears anyways. I don't even recall seeing any posters for the movie, unlike Battlefield which was total crud.
  18. Read the Black Company. Cook tells in one paragraph what take Jordan, Martin and their ilk 300 pages. The narrator is the camp doctor who basically quickly writes notes in his journals between marches and battles. Goes downhill in the series after that with different narrators but still pretty good compared to the fantasy crap that's on the bestsellers list nowadays.
  19. Not worth reinstalling Origin again for. Thank God for Youtube.
  20. Finished Assassin's Creed. Interesting game with cool setting and protagonist, marred with repetitive gameplay and annoying cutscenes. "Assassins" is also a misnomer since only 3 of the contracts can actually by completed with stealth. Most of the time you're forced into hacking through groups of guards. And, oh yeah, the story started out pretty well but took a nosedive after the eighth or ninth contract. Ubisoft's Prince of Persia game that came out in the same year, is much better than this. Overall, 6.5/10
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LMR6W5Q82k Had no idea this was out. Doesn't look too bad for a Spider-Man game. Also, Reapers. Bonus points for hilarious DXHR rip-off intro.
