It's bad enough that he writers the games, I don't think I can stomach his prose without gameplay. I really can't stop thinking about him as a poor's man R.R. Martin. Oh, and fantasy is way below in my reading tastes. To be fair, he's a poor man's David Eddings.

It's all manga and anime nowadays for kids. The fact that American comic industry has always been oversatured with the superhero genre hasn't helped matters at all either. Nobody but die-hards give a crap about the 262th reboot of Superman or Batman anymore.

I barely bothered with any of the side-content in Arkham City, I only finished Bane's fetch quest and Zsasz's inane phone booth hunting. Only interesting sidequests may have been Azrael and Deadshot, but at that point I was already sick of the game.

Sarcastic (female) Hawke is one of the best protagonists in recent RPGs. She really made a lot of the stupid railroading palpable with her comments. A far cry from boring blocks of wood like Shepard and Geralt of Melnibon

If you metagame and craft/upgrade some Mandalorian blasters (or similar) for Mira and lightsabers for Visas beforehand, it's pretty easy to tear through those mobs. T-3 also has an easy time. Atton completely sucks before he becomes a Jedi, though. Beating those Twi'lek assassin vixens is nearly impossible. Yet later he easily beats Darth Sion (although for drama's sake it's better to let him lose).
