RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
They got some publicity on big gaming sites and together with the Paypal they might get 1,500,000. If they set up a new Kickstarter for this though, I might cancel my pledge for Dreamfall Chapters.

Looks like something the A-Team would typically build before the final confrontation near the end of an episode.- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2014]
If the Witcher 2 had kept its predecessor's emphasis on Geralt's personal storyline maybe it wouldn't have managed to bore me to death. Yennefer was name-dropped a couple of times, but just as a side-effect of introducing the Wild Hunt as Ancient Evil.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
Trent will be busy enough with Planetscape Tournament remake and sequel, I wager.- What are you playing now?
Started playing the Amazing Spider-Man. As expected, it's much better than Arkham City. Playing with a fast and agile character is so much more satisfying than trying to steer a cement truck. And all the better if he's a wise-cracking smart-alec rather than a brooding bore. If the Black Cat turns out to be playable even for five minutes, Arkham City can be relegated to the dustbin entirely.- Movies You've Seen Recently

It gets only worse from there on. Which Dune? The movie or that mini-series? The mini-series was slightly better than the film but the film had Sting in green plastic undies, so it's kind of a toss up. The David Lynch movie, as an adaptation it made my brain scream but it wasn't the worst film I've ever seen, the visuals kept me watching at least...Sting not included Lynch did manage to capture the atmosphere of Dune universe pretty well, despite the many changes, so I found the movie pretty palatable overall. And some book parts were executed to perfection.- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2014]
And five minutes later Geralt bangs the barmaid in the abandoned mill.- What are you playing now?
I'd say you're not burned out if you're still playing Skyrim. How many times can you dive the same* dungeon for random loot without feeling burned out? It's not like the combat system is actually "fun," so what's the appeal? I shouldn't say this on a game developer's gaming board in a "what are you playing" thread, but why not read a book, or learn some fringe hobby like sailing (admittedly, if you went to Yale or live on 5th avenue in Manhattan you probably have a few Yachts already,) or survival training (not like hoarding guns, but learning to be like Les Stroud,) or practice archery in real life (if that appeals to you,) maybe even put in some overtime if employed? Sure it's "less fun" than Skyrim, but if you're really burnt out you might as well do something else that will reset the metaphorical cooldown on gaming burnout. *Yes, the geometric layout is different, but in the end, aren't they all the same, even taking into account the 4 different "tilesets"?- PS4

It's disconcerting how ugly and bland Skyrim looks without a ENB/texture/lighting mod.- What are you playing now?
IIRC it's easy as pie Altair -> defensive skills (except when he's alone against multiple Orc enemies) Styx -> offensive skills (that skill that boosts his critical chance upgraded with +50% dodge is game breaking especially combined with multi-dagger skill) I hear you, I stared getting the hang if it but still found I had split my points too evenly between attack and defense so I wasn't effective in either. This became apparent in certain fights, like against the Shaman. I was about 10 hours into the game. Also every level seemed the same from a gameplay perspective. A linear path from A to B with the same types of monsters just in different size groups...goblin, dogs or humans . I may install it again, but I doubt it I agree level design and stealth mechanics are... rudimentary, but one needs to take into account this game was developed on a shoestring budget (even compared to Game of Thrones from same developer), still setting, combat and characters ultimately were good enough to make the game worth buying on release. I really would not mind a sequel. - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2014]
