First Beyond Good And Evil 2 gameplay footage
The stealthy reporter seems to have turned into Lara Croft or the girl from Mirror's Edge overnight. That video doesn't seem to take place in Hillys either. I really wonder what the story will be, considering the way the game ended with that huge cliffhanger.

Fallout 3 DLC Broken Steel out Today!
Getting to level 30 requires nothing less than a World of Warcraft-like grindfest. I started Broken steel at level 20, did everything (at least I think I did) and finished at level 24.

Good Shields and Bad Shields
Echani shields require a lower skill to make, so I prefer those.

the cruelest thing you did in kotor?
On Tatooine it's fun to scare those Gamorrean ambushers away, then return to the hunting lodge to kill them.

Greatest Lightsaber Duelist?
Tulak Hord is the greatest duelist ever.

Good Armor vs. Bad Armor (or Jedi Robes)
I wonder, has anyone already found for instance Nomi's robe, Sylvar's robe and the others without cheating? Is it even possible? Thon's robe is really great since it allows Force Jump.. but I'm abhorred at the thought of using console commands.

That's great, I didn't know. Thanks.

Good Blasters vs. Bad Blasters (including Piatol, Rifle, and Repeaters)
Micro-pulse blaster is the best... but I've only found those once. I usually always find dual Mandalorian heavy blasters and put them in Mira's capable hands. As for blaster rifles: Cherrik, without a doubt.

Velvet Assassin comes out this week.
What about Bioshock, Stalker or Mafia in terms of atmosphere? Call of Cthulhu fell apart less than half way through and then it had you kill an elder god with a goddamn cannon. Also, enough with the hate on 'big' gaming sites. Yes, they have biased and bad reviews, but don't turn this into some kind cry fest for "poor foreign developers". It's great that you like the game, but there are a lot of people out there that genuinely dislike it, some of who write reviews. Haven't played Bioshock, Stalker or Mafia, sorry. As for the hate, there is none. I was just stating an observation.

Obsidian making Fallout: New Vegas
This may seem like a silly suggestion, but I'd like to be able to walk across the wasteland for long periods of time without being harassed by a random enemy. It's not realistic that there are so many animals scurrying around when there's no vegetation to speak of. How do these enemies stay alive, by eating sand?

Velvet Assassin comes out this week.
The IGN reviewer must've had a really bad day when he wrote that review... I purchased the game yesterday and I'm liking it a lot. The atmosphere in this game is simply brilliant... it perfectly captures the grimness of WWII. I daresay it's the most atmospheric game I've played since Call of Cthulhu. I can't recall any 'small' foreign developers receiving a review rating over 7.5 on the 'big' gaming sites... The Witcher doesn't really count considering their affiliation with BioWare.

Let's Play Threads
No, it was a person who did only the main quest as a Khajiit, I believe. It used to be on the Bethesda boards wiht pics, but I can't find it over there anymore.

One thing I didn't know about Yuthura until very recently is that you can actually meet her again at Dantooine if you return her to the light side. I usually take Korriban third or last planet so I always missed that..

Fallout 3 DLC Broken Steel out Today!
This seems to be true for Shivering Isles at least. The Isles' geography is almost exactly like Vvardenfell, and its regional environments - Mania & Dementia - are analoguous to respectively the Ascadian Isles & Bitter Coast of Morrowind. If Bethesda's games were merely a 'paint job' of previous games as you're claiming, though, TES V would already be out...

Let's Play Threads
There used to be a Let's Play on Oblivion where somebody went through the game without killing anything, and that was hilarious to read. Seemed to have disappeared though, unfortunately.

Obsidian making Fallout: New Vegas
The punching minigame was equally trivial, but strangely satisfying. And at least you could get an amazing reward in the end.

Obsidian making Fallout: New Vegas
Well, Morrowind did have some really goofy stuff too - 4 or 5 random quests involving naked Nords, the corpse of "Indie" in a tomb, and the infamous "Eltonbrand" sword. As for Bethesda respecting the ES, a lot of long-time ES fans on the Bethesda boards are as virulent about Oblivion as the FO1/2 fans about FO3 after Bethesda completely overhauled Morrowind's system and butchered the lore (Cyrodiil endless jungle? ha!). To make matters even worse, now there's talk about an ES fantasy book set in Cyrodiil after Oblivion involving a flying city creating undead. It's actually amusing browsing through some of the loremasters' reactions. As for FO3, if Bethesda really made it as a sort of 'testing board' to see what players like and don't like about it, then that can only be a good thing for the sequel. THey might even learn a thing or two-(hundred) with Obsidian's F:NV.

Fallout 3 DLC Broken Steel out Today!
Party Girl seems a good perk since my characters constantly swill booze. Makes the addiction totally redundant, though.

Good Armor vs. Bad Armor (or Jedi Robes)
I never even considered giving her armor. Could be interesting, though, making her a gun-wielder instead of saber attacker.

Red Eclipse quest wont advance
I replayed Nar Shaddaa yesterday and went to Refugee Sector first where I wiped out the Serrocco & Exchange and as soon as I left the sector the Red Eclipse triggered (upon arrival I had told Quello to buzz off). Visquis triggered rather quickly after doing some stuff in the Docks district. So indeed, corrupted save may be the case here... What is definitely critical to the advance of the main mission, though, is talking to the Hutt about Goto.

Mass Effect
Right. Like Jade Empire. Oh, wait, no huge organization of elite warriors or ancient race. BG2? I don't recall a huge organization of elite warriors and I wouldn't call Irenicus an 'ancient race.' NWN, it has the ancient race, but no HOEW. Sorry for the late post, but as for JE I'd say the Lotus Assassins could apply as a huge organization of elite warriors.

A game should be made based on this person

Good Armor vs. Bad Armor (or Jedi Robes)
Can Visas wear armor? Never tried it on her. I always use the Sith Combat Suit for Mira because it allows a +7 dex modifier and I always use her as a dual-wielding gun slinger, and well the Handmaiden looks good in pretty much everything.
