I wouldn't call Dreamfall an adventure game but more an interactive movie - how many puzzles are there in the game? I can remember only one. Gameplay is completely reduced to minigames, clunky combat & stealth sections. The story is like a Robert Jordan novel: multiple plot branches are started, but in the end nothing is resolved and it's doubtful whether all threads will ever get tied together again. It is a very good story for discussion & speculation, though. It's very doubtful whether a continuation of Dreamfall will ever appear, with FunCom focusing completely on their new MMO "Secret World"... if things go as smoothly with this MMO as "Ages of Conan" things might get really bleak...

Not by a long shot. But it's worth playing alone to meet some old TLJ characters again & wander around in Arcadia a bit. Apart from that, the game's pretty terrible.

People used to use Bible passages from the same Leviticius to condone slavery, now they use it to condemn homosexuality which is as old as humanity itself (what do you think our Cro Magnon ancestors did when they were away from home for weeks/months to hunt sabre tooth tigers?). With the bad AI, you can simply hide somewhere and wait til the bad guys with guns get close enough. Or lob some grenades.

Make sure StarForce did actually update the drivers. In Vista, UAC will sometimes prevent it from updating when one doesn't use right-click and "run as administrator". Also make sure the right patch for your game version is installed. I recently had a similar issue with Securom complaining that the right disk wasn't inserted simply because I had installed a UK version patch while I needed a US version.

Is Vista 32bit or 64bit? Is any "virtual drive" software installed?

What room are you referring to? The dormitory or training room with Sith Master? These doors should open the normal way. As you go up the room, a Selkath should run through the door, opening it, IIRC.

Imho Bethesda already went surprisingly far with making it possible to enslave one of the kids of Wittwe Wampwight - and the only nice & cute kid to boot. Killing NPCs just because one finds them 'irritating' is a bit out there, imo. Deal with them just like one deals with irritating people in real life.

I am on Vista myself and can only access all my save games (I have a lot with many characters) in-game. But I believe all saves are handled by the .SAV file under the Saves folder under Program Files\LucasArts (default).

I believe it's a lone Rodian in Ahto City West (part of city where hotel & Republic embassy is). He's standing close to the water.

It's strange, I have no qualms about my RPG characters killing adult NPCs in cold blood for absolutely nothing, but I would never be able to do the same with children, even if it is just a game. Are there, BTW, killable children in GTA IV? I don't remember any in GTA III.
