Torment: Tides of Numenera?
As someone following him on Twitter since Wasteland 2's kickstarter, I find the "us vs them" is a rather frequently occurring perspective that comes up from his twitter feed. I also don't consider it simply tongue in cheek. It's a specific tweet done to rally those that (for whatever reason) are hostile towards DLC and microtransactions, and presents it in a way that such things must be mutually exclusive to a strong single player narrative. We both know it'd be an epic field day if a Frank Gibeau made a silly tongue in cheek tweet that in some way could be perceived as a slight against Kickstarter or one of the projects that used it. What if it isn't true? Well, for all Fargo's online and offline shenanigans and publisher trash talk, he doesn't really have a lot to lose. inXile is small and can always go back to making more Choplifter games to stay afloat - they never needed publishers the way Obsidian does. Luckily Feargus has more business sense and class.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
The new Thundercats was awesome. I wouldn't mind an RPG in the setting. Looks too anime-ish for me. Like a furry version of Legend of Korra. Original Thundercats looked badass rather than the teenagers they are now. And it wasn't entirely family friendly either, Mumm'Rah's awakening used to give me nightmares (but all villains were pretty brutal).

There's a new Thundercats too, apparently. At least no one will ever ruin Alfred J Kwak.

They do not look like that in the cartoon! They went for the really cartoony in that one, this looks like they're aiming for 'realism'! You sure those aren't for the new movie? This is what I mean: I don't think it looks good, although not as bad as that game one. Upcoming Turtles movie will have Megan Fox as April. Yeah.

You mean like introducing Emma Stone's character, then seemingly dropping her and never hearing from her again after your date? :D I guess this explains why not she but Kari Wahlgren voices Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Man game. Not that I'd ever recognize her voice anyway. Throwing away money on Hollywood celebrity voice-over is always a bad idea. Eh, Bethesda?

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
Spiders weren't the ones responsible for the Game of Thrones RPG, that was entirely Cyanide. As long as Cyanide take care of the writing, I'm interested.

A problem with my choice of words. I don't generally like to cheat past censorship (can I turn it off in options?), but the word I really meant to use was "coc.ky". You do remember their (less than?) subtle jabs at Bioware during the various Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition interviews, right? Or their open distaste for publisher interference and control? Their PR and interviews have for a while had this air of "Not only will our game be better than yours, we also have far better business ethics" And I like that attitude. I see what you mean, I agree I think its really commendable that a relatively small company like CPR has been able to create a fantasy franchise that rivals, for many people, the popularity of Elder Scrolls and games like Dragon Age. Its shows what commitment and believing in a vision can achieve in the very competitive market of fantasy RPG. Yes Poland has many people! - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2014]
