What baby boomers did -as a generation- doesn't apply to all generations. Gen-Xers appear to be more moderate in adulthood whilst millenialls are split between very progressive and very conservative. Also: Congratulations Democrats you got **** Cheney on your side xD

3rd Party. Pronto.

Oh trust me, they were already there before Trump, they just needed him to swoop in and give them political oomph. Things will more or less go on the same as before the next four years: protests, riots, red meat vs. blue cheese, pandemic, but game and hardware development shall continue so I now is a perfect time to just kick back, turn off the news, and try to not think about what kind of storm 2024 could potentially bring.

Obama was actually a bad POTUS because his domestic agenda did diddly squat but bail out the banks, also look what he did Libya, Syria, and Lebanon. An imperialist con man to the marrow of his bone, a Blue Trump.

As stated a few posts back, the best "value" is the 5600X at $300, though it appears long time AMD fans still think it's a bit overpriced, regardless of its remarkable performance on 2020 gaming.

We have so much in common! France and the U.S. should make out. Oh wait, They're already our sex slave so I guess it's moot at this point.
-
There is no "left" media in the Western world. Just corporate white supremacist media vs. corporate destroy whitey media. I'd prefer some good left wing media that's above and beyond identity politics.

The 5800X outperforms the 5900X in quite a few gaming benchmarks albeit by a very small, almost insignificant margin. But again, that is w/o the SAM feature so who knows how 64mb of L3 cache in two ccds would effect that. I'm guessing AMD extremists should stick with either the 5950x or the 5900x and go with Radeon whilst Geforce users would probably be complimented well with the 5800X or 5600X (depending on your budget of course, you're gambling a bit buying the 5800X in hopes that 6 years from now it'll remain a stellar performer while the 5600X falls behind).
-
That's because most games don't utilize more than 6 cores. There's a great deal of future proof in the 5800X as games turtle pace towards utilizing more cores. Then again, I'm not exactly sure how Smart Access Memory would affect performance yet between a 5900X and a 5800X so it's still difficult to verify at the moment.

Clock speeds/architecture > Cores when it comes to gaming. 8 Cores is more than enough for gaming in its current state. My actual biggest gripe with Intel is its total insecurity at present, you got: Comet Lake: current, requires LGA 1200 Rocket Lake: 2021, again LGA 1200 Alder Lake: 2022, Socket 1700 Meteor Lake: 2022 or 2023, finally hits 7nm process. I mean just how many new motherboards are you going to have to buy during these short spans????
-
It probably won't beat AMD in heavily threaded applications (as usual) but it's sure retake the gaming crown. Intel fans better have a quadruple digit power supply handy at this rate. I mean spending a few extra bucks a month on power isn't a huge deal or anything but it can be psychologically exhausting and Intel is (better be) taking that into consideration.

Glad to see that ammunition and PC components are America's bread and butter, considering that they're the two hardest things to acquire at the moment.

Numbers don't mean anything. It's benchmarks that matter, if the 3080Ti can hit close to the 5900XT in 1440p at a slightly cheaper price than I am absolutely sold and is exactly what I'm looking for. If it can run 'Control' maxed out with full RTX and quality DLSS at 144 fps it's the leading performance card.

I can't help but feel a little sad over this. Not that I love Trump or anything (he's a spoiled rich **** and many of his supporters are the scum of the earth) but I can't see anything good coming from Biden either. What do working people gain from this? It just seems like we're going back to Obama's era of do-nothingness but with a friendly smile. Meanwhile, the imperial cogwheels roll on, the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. FDR would roll over in his grave. Literally the only President who really cared about the poor and the party that was his wants nothing to do with him anymore. They're more like Ronald Reagan now, which is despicable.

You have to adjust that for inflation.

Silent RUSKIE BAD generation no less. Meanwhile Russians and Chinese moving ahead with their 5 year plans whilst the U.S. is tearing itself apart. Way to go 'Murica.

Good grief and here I was anticipating a Trump re-election and then the left and disenfranchised voters could rally behind a 3rd party in 2024. Nope, things just aren't that simple, are they? This is going to be litigated for months with mass protests and all around ugliness.

Interesting...

The problem is also the cops, they kicked up a fuss here when they started the slow and awkward process of legalizing weed, saying they "weren't gonna change their ways". "We don't make the laws we only enforce them" my ass, they have an agenda.

It ruins more peoples lives keeping it illegal considering what they do to get it. I would rather have heroin cheap and readily available so people live how they want with less collateral damage.
-
There isn't, the left is fractured and Biden and Trump, to me, are basically the same person. Tweedledee and Tweedledum.
-
Oh wow what did I wake up to? If Biden wins Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada he wins by the slimmest margin possible. And yes, that does increase Trump's chances of becoming unhinged and refusing to leave office..

I'm probably gonna Chad it out and wait for the TI's and Rocket Lake to launch next spring/summer. Was contemplating going Zen 3 but it's probably not appropriate unless you're also buying a Radeon. Oh it's tempting as Hell believe to just go blazing out on AMD components (especially that 6900XT, 'tis a 1440p wet dream) but I only have a Gsync monitor and I'm quite confident next years Nvidia launch will be worth the wait.
