Superclocking a 5800X shouldn't guzzle too much power, considering it has significantly less cores than the other two and the whole 7nm thing is a great insurance policy. Intel 10xxx would be a different story... I'm honestly getting stoked for this.

If I ever decide to switch mice (not a priority), I'll probably go with The Corsair Ironclaw, because I think I prefer palm mice rather than fingertip mice.

This Razer Deathadder I have is too small for me, and looks quite a bit smaller than the one you got recommended to you, which is weird considering I did zero research on the matter.

^Yup I can hit a stable 2900Mhz on my current board. If I go all out and go with the new Crosshair VIII Dark Hero I reckon I get pretty high. Not that's it's super important or anything, it's like going all out on a super fast hard drive, good for bragging rights but all-in-all not a big deal. GPU and CPU Cores/Clock speeds/architecture are the big ones.

I went with GamerMax because it was the only brand I could find that sported 1050 watts and upgraded to 32 gigabytes of RAM (Viper 4 series 3200Mhz). I've literally never had a problem with PSU's or Ram (GPU's, CPU's, and Motherboards are the only things that have given me issues in the past) so the only thing I'm second guessing is that maybe I should have waited for good DD4 4000's to land to go with Zen 3.

Yeah I don't think anyone outside the Democratic Party diehards takes these "Investigations" seriously. Russians have been designing advanced new weapons systems since the early 2000's. Apparently a drunk off power U.S. political class didn't seem to protest and gave them the "whatever" in response when they implied they would. I don't think they're so nonchalant now. I like competition so hey, have at it. The U.S. political elites could use a good rattling.

I have one Noctua fan as the rear intake fan (I have my rig setup so the 3 stock fans serve as exhaust in the front) and it sounds like a vacuum cleaner when you run it full speed. Kinda comical but yeah they're pretty good overall. Once my IceGiant ProSiphon Elite arrives I may replace the stock fans with a couple more Noctua's if I don't like the stock speeds.

That's the thing though, the number of games that effectively utilize 6 cores currently, is relatively small. And yes, it's confirmed that the 5900X and the 5950X will use 2 CCD's as opposed to the 5800X single CCD, so you get 8 very high quality cores concentrated efficiently and if you get a good chip should leave plenty of room for overclocking. I reckon a high end gamer could get a solid 4 years out of it.

Hmmm I reckon the 5800X could in fact be the secret gaming champion. This about it, it has 8 cores and 16 threads all in one CCX with ease of access to the cache, where's the 5900X has 12 cores and 24 threads in two 6+6 CCX, making overclocking more risky and more of a pain with lower and more unpredictable yields and would require binning (which is risky and doesn't always produce the results you want), whilst the 5800X you just simply crank it up the clock speed on a single CCX and call it good. I'll seriously consider it if I see that the 5800X can hit the max 4.7Ghz or close to it.

90A power stage on a regular ATX? Sold! Also, 1050w is fine, overclocking is generally overkill anyway. I was thinking I would hit around 950 absolute max and give it 100 for breathing room but if that's not powerful enough I'll simply tone it down a notch.

Contemplating the ASUS X570 Crosshair VIII Hero or the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master, already pre-ordered the Ice Giant Pro Elite to cool. Also need a new power supply, 1050 watts should suffice, a superclocked 5900X or 5950X (I'm gonna go with whichever can get realistically hit the higher clock speeds) coupled with a power guzzling 3080 simply gonna be too much for a mere 750, despite Ryzen's impressive thermals. I got some work cut out for me that's for sure, and that's after breaking the bank.
