  1. https://llp.joomla.com/about Some interesting tidbits here on left libertarianism and the false dichotomies going around.
  2. You may be right from a historical standpoint, but the problem here is that there's a lot of political capital in American right wing circles that depressed collage kids/ hipster libertarian artsy types are Marxists. Therein lies the problem. Orthodox Marxists in Europe from before the Red Revolution were actually closer to being Anarcho-capitalists then what's commonly attributed to Marxist-Leninism. You could make an argument that orthodox Marxism originally envisioned is now irrelevant and left-leaning people should move on, but as long as ignorance of the matter remains politically energized it will be impossible to develop meaningful change in society.
  3. Not really a fan of Bethesda games. I liked Morrowind but it was very obvious since Oblivion that there games are catered to braindead western idiots.
  4. One of my favorite songs EVER.
  5. I'd rather have "Marxist" infiltration than bootlicking authority lover infiltration. Honestly though, if I had known that anything Karl Marx related was a well painted target and riddled with falsehoods, misconceptions, and unhinged psychotic attacks from the right and center, I probably would have been more careful in my ideology participation. These so called "anti-Marxists" are nuts.
  6. I have not played too many games where mods make a significant difference.
  7. Reason number #1425 why I didn't bother to try to grab one from the getgo.
  8. Resident Evil and perhaps Heroes of Might and Magic.
  9. ^Titans! Yeah 27" 1440p 144-165hz is perfect for me. It's more about smoothness than precision for me but yeah a lot of hardcore fps/sports games players seem to do dig super overly high refresh rates. I consider myself somewhere in the middle, but with all this 8k business going around I'm starting to feel tinier by the day.
  10. For 4k you're gonna ideally want 32". Anything less is a waste imo. Every resolution has its "sweet spot".
  11. Oh my goodness he's worse than I thought, never even heard about this. Bye bye and good riddance. Also says a lot about his remaining fans.
  12. Snake does have fine taste in handguns that's for sure. I own the Beretta (modified updated version) and if I were to own a .45 I'd think we have a 'solid' candidate. Haven't played any 'Metal Gear' game since Metal Gear Solid, replayed it several times at launch and never played it again. Doubt I'd pick it up on GOG though, kinda wish they'd release the Resident Evil's with higher res and framerate. I'd gladly pay the $6 or whatever rather than jungle hunting the right files to fix the image quality.
  13. The thing with AMD here is that they have both their GPU's and CPU's inside both major consoles and will make a ton of money off that alone, so there's really no reason to expect anything grandiose from them in the PC GPU market. I'm expecting decently priced med-high grade cards here for the midrange gamer and that's well within the context of AMD's history.
  14. MCA has literally no talent though so I don't know where this theses that he's some kind of creative genius took root. Sure, people have cult followings but this one is bizarre and unprecedented.
  15. More like he speaks 4Chan so he's safe, as there's no shortage of Western weaboos and translators.
  16. You guys are clowns. Without a doubt, Avowed.
  17. The 3080 will suit my 1440p needs and then some. Actually, the biggest issue here isn't the card, it's the fact that some gaming engines currently on the market still suck at utilizing high refresh rates, the Unreal Engine comes to mind here.
  18. Didn't Hitler also warn against the "Tyranny of the masses"? You're reasoning seems a bit elitist sometimes. Almost reactionary in nature.
  19. It's definitely a goal to get rid of the electoral college. It's an outdated elitist system.
  20. Very very boring American stuff not much people would be interested in but I'm a boring American so I thought it was pretty good.
  21. Ennio Morricone is unstoppable.
  22. Nothing too fancy really. Stop imperialism, institute medicare 4 all, and institute the Green New Deal and force more workers control over production, especially on large corporations. Small and medium sized businesses would be left alone. It's well within the context of "leftism" in the U.S. when you account for the New Deal of the 30's and the social revolution of the 60's. A combination of both. Defund the police, encourage firearm safety and training for citizens as a substitute. Slash military budget by at least 50%, more focus on national guard. Let's get radical and libertarian baby.
  23. I think the point here is that there's a significant portion of the American population (along with foreign supporters of reactionary/alt-right movements) that considers Clinton and co "far left", which is both highly erroneous and dangerous and will probably lead to Civil War if a genuine left wing movement actually manifests itself.
  24. I consider Bernie left-liberal, whilst I'd consider myself left-libertarian. I guess you could call that "Socialism with American values" if you wanted to. Put simply, left-liberals seem to want to adopt the Euro model, whilst I reckon we have our own way of doing things over here.
  25. What? "Liberalism in the 90's and 00's" was all about neoliberalism, corporate expansionism, Wall Street and money, as Bill Clinton put the final nail in coffin as the Democratic Party being the "New Deal" Party. (The New Deal was the American version of "left" in the 20th century, as the Republican Party's pro-industry, anti-slavery, pro-tariff, laissez faire economics was considered "left" in America in the 19th century). Look, America has always been an ass backwards country in regards to new developments. As the Communists were writing the Communist Manifesto in the 1840's, criticizing modern industrial capitalism in Europe, America was in the process of "finally" integrating it with the Republican Party. Point being, it's kind of hard to define what "left" means in the U.S. because we're already backwards enough as it is and there is literally no political movement that could be considered "left" because even Bernie Sanders was operating in the confines of Democratic Party orthodoxy which is not left at all.
