I believe this is an age old law of political discourse that is perfectly applicable...during war The far right is equally guilty of "seeking harm", the problem I have with this alt-right vs. BLM/antifa thingy is that it's more of a race war than a class war. The 2 party dictatorship and those who actually wield power are laughing at this **** show and are cooking up ways to take our rights away as a consequence. The establishment wants a race war to avoid a class war. -

"Russia “probably will be the primary covert foreign influence actor and purveyor of disinformation and misinformation in the Homeland,” They just can't help themselves. Millions of poor, homeless, people with no future under the abandonment of the neo lib establishment and but everything of course is Russia's fault. -

Exactly what I said! Laissez Faire supply side economics with literally no government to speak of. Horrible on its own accord no question about that but the twist here would be that there would be a government and it would only have ONE purpose and that is to make sure workers have satisfactory living/working/medical conditions. Some people may not like the sound of it but I assure you it's miles better than neoliberalism. -

inspired by this thread I did a poll on Twitter. I didn't get many votes in conjunction with the number of followers I have but apparently Left Twitter would prefer Social Democracy over Anarcho-Capitalism with the government only being there to regulate workers conditions and nothing else. -

To me, it's like choosing between Ronald Reagan and Mussolini. That's how low we've come over the past several decades, when Reagan is still considered a great POTUS and fascism is attractive to a good portion of the audience. After reviewing American history and our achievements prior to neoliberalism, it's absurd. I would like to say we're better than that, but the same thing happened in a country called 'Germany'. 19th century Germany was a place of great philosophical technological advancements, but come the 20th century that translated into an overblown ego that led to two world wars and the rest is history. Or we doomed to be Germany 2.0 or can we turn this around? -

I don't think the U.S. should meddle in the Middle East at all, I'm not a fan of the Iranian government but I'm largely in agreement with their staunch anti-American Imperialist stance, and the Iranians I've talked with on social media have made it clear that they do not hate Americans they just hate our foreign policy. From a purely American Apple Pie standpoint, our meddling in affairs that don't concern us is Unconstitutional. -

I'd say the idea of a Muslim ban is very shameful for modern America yes. Not only is it inhumane, it reeks of Zionism and Israel (Zionists have been perpetuating Islamophobia for quite some time, and Trump has very close ties to Israel and not Russia, despite what CIA/Corporate/Deep State media will try to have you believe). -

Yes. Which is why I'm not sure why a lot of people are still boycotting the Epic Games Store because Steam was the same way until they had a significant challenger. Instead of legislating anti-monopoly laws why doesn't someone come in and challenge Apple and Microsoft? (Apple has literally blocked all EGS apps from their devices). Life always finds a way to topple monolithic power structures, I'd say w/o state intervention. Gosh I guess I am in fact turning more into an anarchist by the day! All we gotta do is legislate better conditions/wages/living standards for workers and I think we're set. -

Ideally yes but, reality turns much different than idealism when you factor in the power aspect. Facebook has 2.5+ billion accounts on its website, extremely difficult for a boardroom to manage on its own, and a significant portion of these accounts are what you would call "enemies of the U.S. status quo", so if you you attract adversaries of the U.S. government, naturally you're gonna attract the U.S. government, and big tech CEO's being greasy cowards of course are gonna be fully cooperative in nanny-ing their websites so as not to upset Uncle Sam. In reality, challenging the U.S. Government is about as Patriotic as you can get. So much for massive corporations, even Wal-Mart has stopped selling various types of ammunition to be in compliance with the state. -

Awesome! I love how the right is just shooting themselves (no pun intended!) in the foot with their own alleged principles. Again there are so many opportunities here for the left to swoop in and claim to help build a better coalition. Small government/decentralized, pro-gun, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist leftists?! Well, politics is the art of the possible. -

The problem here being that's a double edged sword. Take the Bolsheviks for instance, a good portion of Russians saw them as saviors and liberators from oppression whilst the reactionary Whites saw the Bolsheviks as their oppressors. -

The FBI was founded by a megalomanic. I'd soon get rid of it and focus more on regional solutions rather than top-down national ones. Perhaps the U.S. could use a bit more decentralization, not ashamed to admit it. -

They are working hand in hand. Massive Oil and Tech firms (to name the big two) have been working closely with the government and government agencies for quite some time. Mussolini would be proud of it because that's what fascists did, merge big corporations with the state and directed policy based off of corporate and state interests. -

...And not regretting it in the least! It has held up surprisingly well. I mean what's more satisfying than dropping a frag mine in front of a Stealth Boy Super Mutant then finishing him off with your 9mm? Playing it in 3rd person (something I haven't done before) and it's truly wild popping off shots at assailants. Playing as a High INT + PER character and perks that beef up my skills per level and gunplay so I'm focused on guns but am largely proficient in everything else. -

If Swedish women didn't want Arab men then they would have been kicked out decades ago or longer. I mean it's not like I care much but I'm really starting to think that a lot of these alt right types are just men that no woman wants so they try to rationalize that into some kind of false sense of racial superiority. -

Too late for that opinion. The Feds have pretty much neutered the Mafia to irrelevancy. Better question: Should the FBI be abolished? I don't like how my tax dollars go to giving some artificial police force all the best weapons, ammo, and training. I mean we already have too much big government military spending my tax dollars go to for pillaging and terrorizing the world, perhaps the FBI gone would be a good first step? -

I don't believe conservatives are small government anymore, I mean just look at Trump's policies. The left (that currently exists only marginally) would be wise to pick up the ball they fumbled and incorporate it into thier pro-working class ideology. -

But not worker/ lower class friendly, vast amounts of wealth transferring upward does not equate to a strong, stable economy, in fact the opposite. How Covid-19 devastated a good portion of it and left people with scraps homeless is a good indicator there. Also, these riots and protests would be significantly lowered if Trump actually created a federal jobs program safety net that provided lower class people with more opportunities. Hell, if Trump actually DID that, I may in fact be singing MAGA tunes no question, but alas, he's beholden by party orthodoxy of poor-shaming and rigged busniness hierarchies which is historically proven to be woefully ineffective from a social and structural standpoint (see 1932 and 2008 for more info). -

This is not a case of self defense. Rittenhouse stocked up on ammo, planned the trip and went there to go on the offensive with intent to kill. Self defense is when you're going about your daily routine and you're accosted by a person or persons and you correctly and appropriately defend yourself. -

@BruceVC is sounding more Trumpian by the day! "Biden is a Trojan Horse for the radical left and will destroy literally EVERYTHING about 'Muricah!" Actual radical left: Biden is a paid shill by big pharma and the insurance companies and is a neoliberal warmonger Conservative, Hell, even Bernie is questionable with his endorsement to him and his loyalty to a party that is clearly not progressive. -
