Biden says he will veto any bill that provides national healthcare coverage. This could be his ultimate demise because this for-profit health system we have now is absolutely not equipped to deal with the pandemic, as has been illustrated repeatedly throughout the year. If the pandemic rolls on throughout his term with no kind of nation-wide solution than he is cooked. The only reason why Trump lost the election is because of his abysmal response to the pandemic. Yes, it's scary to think that's the only reason he lost, but it's probably true and Biden is hardly upping the ante.

What Are You Playing Now: The meaning of life
ComradeYellow replied to Gorth's topic in Computer and Console
Yeah it goes from a Werewolf hunting simulator to some really advanced neo-Lovecraftian plot that's quite interesting if you take the time to try to piece it together (though don't try too hard, or you'll go mad, as was Miyazaki's intention). The Chalice dungeons are the meat of the game, once you starting learning them it's where you find all the best loot. -

Still on Death Stranding, I'm at the part where you have to connect all the areas around Mountain Knot City, I was wondering why road construction was becoming far more costly, just connecting more areas into the network vastly decreases needed resources. Not sure how close I am to the end but I've definitely been snail pacing this and being thorough, as is my modus operandi, getting side tracked on something very particular I think seems like an awesome idea but altogether not really advancing the story much. I'm at the point where I just let BT pull me in so I can combat the Super BT's and get all those delicious Chiral Christals and it seems like it kinda clears out the area when I do it plus I have a 2 extra utility belts equipped with plenty of bloodbags so it's not even hard to fight them anymore. Plot is kinda dull but it is a well crafted world. -
I know, it may come off as a shock to a western elitist, but these countries are actually quite politically united and are putting forth big plans for the century. This is all while the U.S. is divided like a knife slicing open a torso. Or the 1861 Anaconda Plan. Also, for the board Republicans, I really can't see Trump pulling it off at this point, but even if the SC gives it to him, what do you think the rioters and protesters will do at that point? They will be augmented with newfound rage and really start f'ing stuff up. Not that I care either way, but swindling and bullying your way to a victory will have repercussions.

That's like saying I want to attend a bonfire because it has vastly amounts more of kindling than actual long roasting sustainable wood that will slow burn for many years. Radeon may have the kindling, but it's quite lacking in long term features that will keep the fire hot. Better off shopping around for the slow burner with the most spark.

I'm glad you like me, but Russia and China are the only two states in existence demonstrating internal stability and actually have national plans on going forward into the 21st century, including environmental and planetary sustainability measures. Nothing like this is occuring in the west as the population remains divided and is tearing itself apart in the U.S. especially. Until we address these contradictions, I simply cannot be staunchly anti-Eastern, especially when they actually establish clear goals, and aren't surrounded by inbred rednecks with an IQ of 80.

I'm hoping they release a card that hits that magic 2000Mhz boost clock. The only thing that comes close here is that $1999usd 3090 Kingpin I posted earlier (for comparative purposes, Founders Edition 3090 is 1725Mhz, the Kingpin is 1920!). If they release a 3080 Ti and EVGA puts out a 2000Mhz version my choice is clear. Boost clock superiority will be my guiding decision.
-
Yeah they appear to be in a bit of a dilemma here considering the performance boost between a 3080 and a 3090 isn't all that great in gaming and when you consider the cost it's like wtf? Will check the benchmarks upon release and go from there. I'm hoping they'll just focus on sub-4k performance and re-advertise the 3090 as a workstation card and not a gaming card but that could be a forlorn hope.

Well yeah it tends to happen when society becomes polarized. People tend to gravitate towards others who are more or less on the same page. It's just there's people out there who dislike both Trump and libtards alike and have no political home in the U.S. at the moment. I simply do not subscribe to either major party and believe we need a 3rd party to cement the (un)Holy Trinity.

And you realize most of these entities work very closely in proximity with the government, right? Intelligence agencies have been all over social platforms and working with their controllers for many years.

Not sure if sarcasm, but when the powers to be appear to be censoring and silencing dissenting opinions, it's irony and hypocrisy personified. I mean come on you can't have all these impoverished and demoralized Americans starting any kind of progressive movement or anything.
-
I'm reading a Bloomberg article about how Westerners defeated the evil censorship inducing commies and established a free world and everything was perfect until Trump came along and threatened this perfect "free" world order. What's funny here is that I have been shadowbanned from Twitter and hard banned from other sources controlled by liberals even Xbox Live has deleted some of my content because it's quite out of line with "freedom and democracy opinion". Define irony here, you literally cannot make this stuff up. Lot's of parallels here between the USSR collapse and now what's left of Liberal World Order.

3080TI is priced to compete with the Radeon 6900X so $999 USD. Definitely the best choice for a 120+ fps 1440p gamer.

I got a hunch the Radeon 7xxx cards will be the real killers, I think these 6xxx cards are more of a transitional phase than anything.

And after testing it's....not much different than what I had, temperature wise anyway. Perhaps it works better on Ryzen CPU's but right now I would say nothing beats a good aio cooler (or better, all out water cooling if you want to get really ambitious). There are tons of variables though I'm gonna have to tinker with (did I even install it correctly?) but right this second I would say don't bother, it's very loud and doesn't look like a significant difference. EDIT: Upon checking 3rd party reviews, yes, this thing definitely works best on multiple die Ryzen CPU's and not so much Intel's smaller more refined one die and I did have a NH-15 air cooler (which is the cream of the crop for Intel air coolers) so this explains a lot. Whelp, I now have the 2 best air coolers for both CPU brands so I guess that broadens my horizons a bit....

IceGiant Prosiphon Elite has arrived! It's quite slimmer than the prototype version seen on the videos but it sports 4 fans, 2 intake, 2 exhaust. Will report performance and compare it with my current beefy air cooler.

Moscow Parade (1945) - YouTube -
Crime City Nights - Cyberpunk / Dark Synthwave - YouTube Beautiful. Perhaps the retrograde theme of Cyberpunk could develop into a psychotically niche fanbase after all, regardless of the inflated hype surrounding it. It's one of those win-win scenarios. The game is overhyped and bound to let down quite a few people but at the same time it's bound to pick up quite a few followers and fanatics post-release. I think we're living in the age of greatness-in-irony.

If you like games that progress at a snails pace just for the sake of being HARDCORE DAWG than yes there's some interesting character mechanics to be had. To me, games like this sound great on paper and bore me to tears when put into practice. -
The commander in chief is a civilian, there's nothing constitutional about the President and mandatory military service. It's like saying that all district attorneys should have to be cops before they become lawyers.

Why? Whyyyy?.... Why are you still here (on these forums that is)?
ComradeYellow replied to Gorth's topic in Way Off-Topic
The Outer Worlds brought me here, and I've pretty much enjoyed Obsidian games since KOTOR 2 (for the most part) so I figured hey why not. The thing is though not much people attend internet forums anymore, most people are on social media so the result is that you have a bunch of old timers stuck in the old days attending such places. Like nobody uses GOG (it's has a sliver market share) yet it's quite popular with a lot of old timers for instance, like a cult thing. -
What's the status of a second $1,200 stimulus check? (msn.com) I'd say the grimy callous private sector in and of itself is enough of a "disincentive" factor for returning to work. Seriously, why aren't these a-holes a minority party at this point?

And sold out instantly! Good grief...
