  1. Well, at least that's how the Engwithans saw it - but then, a cursory glance through Engwithan ruins and the Endless Paths is more than enough to suggest that the Engwithans were violent, abusive monsters with little or not regard for the value of life. And while Thaos went on about the horrors perpetrated by people who had religious views different then his, he seemed remarkably disinterested in the atrocities committed by people with the same views (read: Thaos was a psychopathic cultural imperialist, an intellectually dishonest apologist, and one of the least reliable narrators imaginable with regards to value judgments). We also know that the Engwithans were technologically backwards in a number of respects (hence why their animats were basically decked out in garbage), and were mainly ahead of their time in the study of animancy. od nua are clearly unpopular among engwithan and likely decades or centuries before gods creation unlikely be recognized as example of engwithan by thaos but fall of ukaizo are the same era
  2. still can not get rdc as strongest rival choose against rdc in dim prospect overgrowth and hunting season does anyone get rdc as their rival finishing these quest choose to support rdc in one or more of these?
  3. huana doesn't have the basic animancy to study those old engwithan machine place like poko kahara are likely explored and forgot multiple time in the past 2000 year chieftain even have the key of the door with out a place like rauatai lore college not much can be remembered or useful
  4. level cap should definitely stay at 20 but there are some problem with power level start at 1 but not increase at every odd number not sure if dlc need to add the cut trinket system there are already too much equipment slot but 8th companion are necessary at some point
  5. can not resist all the mind reading thing and maybe can not get the woedica mace

  7. militaristic are not progressive greedy capitalist like vtc are much closer
  8. never liked the idea of multiclass but subclass are very interesting hoping priest get most of the gods not enough metal related spell for abydon priest maybe some fighter skill and fod
  9. always hard to trigger companion dialogue banter between them triggered less than 15 time in entire playthrough often trigger after reload a save
  10. that was the first impression but maybe survivor are galawain seeker are weal and not sure the other one

  12. I positioned myself a bit north of her, went stealth and killed her with one volley from my team. A few people were frightened with yellow circles and I lost minor rep with Port Maje but no one went hostile. Maia even helped kill her. If you're too close to the Dawnstars camp, they will go hostile, so save before you strike. Maia kind of pissed me off. Worked as an assassin (even if she did have misgivings) and yet her parting letter to me basically said I don't care about making the world better for others. I really thought I was going to like her because I loved Kana, but she's my least favorite of them all. some of maia most interesting dialogue are about kana just like the digsite aloth conversation really need to be a poe1 player to appreciate
  13. no faction doesn't make one dissident anti faction are

  20. despite what most huana believe that is likely not how caste work mataru decide caste when a child birth by their soul and queen are cipher so more likely ciphers in mataru will decide their caste base on how powerful their soul are like glanfathan decide who have the potential to be chieftain
  21. it is the most boring kind of worst the all conquering evil indiscriminately destroy everyone who doesn't obey them so everyone can just fight one army of villain wear the same uniform
  22. Poverty with an opportunity to rise is not nearly the same thing, and not all societies actively embrace classist thinking let alone put religious significance to their classes. Well, to paraphrase the Durance, "the last thing the Deadfire needs is another foreign incursion." If you can convince yourself that you're doing good and that it's your place to decide, I guess there's no stopping you. I'm pretty comfortable with a free-for-all ending, myself. If the Huana want freedom, they're going to have to figure it out for themselves. when nobility are still a thing class decided by birth are plaguing everyone and everything ofcourse it must be corrected but don't choose side between huana vtc and rdc has no significant effect on that No. Nobility didn't litterally, at a systemic level, force the poor to eat garbage. ofcourse neketaka have problem feeding everyone do they keep food for thousands extra population somewhere in the tropical island underground vault? the struggle between faction force people flee to the new city huana doesn't have experience governing for centuries the unrealistic part are not how awful the city can be are the fact such city exist at all
