  1. Also..make sure you take Aloth with you.,.....cose Leaden key crap...
  2. Usually , factions are ...well..easy doesn't do it justice . But usually , it's a bit more clear.....who is the worst of the worst , who is the stupid...who is the goodie and so on . But here...they all give me a headech...and while I feel for the Huana native....cose I really do . I may just run off solo..and let these idiots keep on bickering.. I need more aspirin...
  3. I like the resting mechanic , and I for one don't care if it seem pointless or useless . I also like crafting (why not cooking?) food and use it .
  4. personally..I'm waiting more for the patch that will fix dialogues and slider..so I can play.... more then a dlc that add booze... although..getting drunk....that should make time fly
  5. Main story was too short . I won't go and say it was dissapointing , because while main story is my bible....let's just say I've played worse . So it's not to that level . But I do wish it was the main story that dragged us around and not side quest . I also wish there were more IMPORTANT (and a fight) at the end . I also wish there were more Urgency , more...OMG THE WORLD GONNA END hysteria as you reach the ending . *Shrug*..a story is only good if it take you on a rollercoaster of emotions . Take Fallout 4 , it was also short like this game...but at least...I had alot of 'Rage , angst , sorrow' in the dialogues choices . You add the setting and you are swimming in a nice pool of 'give me kleenex' . But here , you go to places where the Huana are like in the Bahamas , taking a tan and no fuss no worry (save for their personal issue with the many factions)...but nothing related to the main story .
  6. one of my favorite quest..was also mah Doooooooooooooooom! well..sort of The undead ghost ship . Big fan of Ghost ship movies , books..so when I saw the quest ! OMG! YES!!!!!! Gonna hunt it right away ! But...it was mah doom , cose I was playing as a Honest Priestess of eotha . So..made a vow to return the sword...and it also sucked me to work for pirates... and for a 1st playtrough...urgh...that was horrrible..... the other quest..is the one with the sick trees...
  7. if we going back to Drywood.. maybe we could meet old companions ? like the grieving mother ?
  8. Any evidence? No? Well, I've got evidence in the ending slides that if you let those people live those towns will flourish under Vailians and that's a hard evidence that that faction can do some good. he is still sleasy though.....
  9. This. Maia will stay on the ship, and I am going to sabotage RDC as much as I can. At least Pallegina is honest about Vailians. But also I found it strange that the only two options in a later dialogue were to either "not talk about it" or discuss how to better do her job. Unless I am missing something. You can't outright tell her this is wrong, what RDC is doing is wrong. You can either not talk about it at all or support RDC and advise on how to better break the Huana for conquest. No thats not it. He is not giving territory, he is only inviting Vailian cooperation to establish a trading post and to help their settlement because he is no longer adhering to tradition. The one who wants to stick to tradition in the Priest lady, and RDC are the ones who take land from Huana. Vailians are actually less invasive, they work in cooperation, not through submission. Thing is Tikawara can't survive without trading post because of how scarce the natural resources are. Kokti grows badly there and from what I remember there are troubles with the fish as well. An alliance with VTC is that of necessity and survival, not because the chieftain is stupid. remind you that dialogues are bugged.. so maybe it doesn't show up cose of that. Or maybe you need to do something before it happen ? 'Establish a trading post' take territory that once you put it there..it's theirs . I mean...the trading post aint on a ship , it's right on the island . And it's creating depandance , so same things as signing a contract and you never read the little letters down there . He is stupid in the sense that they eat the fruit for the festival which is tradition and never plant the seed....
  10. Bounties are up there in the open - somebody did something bad and bounty hunters got a permission to put a contract on that somebody's head. It's not some covert assassination mission of innocent people. And yes, they're innocent because they were not guilty of anything officialy - they were just stepping stones in factions rival war. And besides that, it's that Maia lies and hides that information on purpose is what irks me the most. So yeah, not my watch, Maia! innocent? how? That idiot on Maje or whatever is the name of that 1st island..I'm pretty sure he is a sleazy . And you don't gain an outpost to look after in the Valliant by doing good . And the chieftien is letting his peoples die of hunger...counting on trade and handing over territory...for the sake of tradition .
  11. what about that scene ? close to the ending..where you can take your soul..or tell the soul to stay behind... what happen if you tell your soul to stay behind..do you die?
  12. Personally, I didn't catch up that I was helping with assassinations until ending slides. But playing now I just can't help but see how shifty Maia is about this, she definitely knows where all of this is leading, and I just can't trust her anymore. I don't like companions using me for doing their dirty work while keeping me in the dark. you already doing someone dirty work... *shrug*....the gods....a companion....an npc lost somewhere...
  13. yeah the Monsters are really HOT! and you can romance them if you want...I go for Imp myself !
  14. I take Xoti...hand her over IWD was a hack'n slash game . I waited years for them to mod it and add talking breathing whiny companions and then I played the game again and it was awesomeeeeeeeeeee So no , I need my whiny lovely companions
  15. the dialogues are all bugged , xoti , pallegina and aloth ...etc . Dialogues firing too soon , dialogues missing as well . hopefully it get fixed in the patch and be soon....
  16. I have no idea what you talking about ! But if you put a poll with buttons to click......I have to click click click! anyway , looked up this thing..weapon . It say it's a sword..but look like a club... I never..ever...used a club..just cose they are ugly as weapon . And If it look like a club..call it a club...
  17. wait...that sword had a quest? I totaly forgot it's existence......... didn't even use it !
  18. Heck, I don't see why you should be able to change your roster (between those companions you already have in the active party and the reserve) anywhere but back at the ship. Seriously, ya going to yell down from the Queen's palace to your ship for Pallegina to get her butt up to the palace to trade places with Eder? Come on. I would ! You are all the way up there...imagine the echo ! 'PALLAGINA! GET YOUR ASS UP HERE!!!!!!!'' Pallegina: Idiota! Edit: For the loading screen , I fired POE1 and it really load faster for me . And POE2 does load slowly in comparaison . different engine maybe ? And as for the companion changing . They said they had a reason for giving us 5 instead of 6 , I'm of the mind that we should have a button or icon for easy switching back and forth . I personally been using the console command 'ManageParty' to do it..since I don't care for achievement . But for those who do....they probably won't use that .
  19. LOL - huge mistake and misunderstanding on my own part ). You are absolutely right, I approached at predawn hours, never even considered that there is a difference. No problem, she is where she is supposed to be. Thank you for helping my apparantly old eyes see through my panic of missing out of a great companion ) Regarding the title, I mean she and the ranger (name escapes me) are only recuitable after a certian point in the main quest. no worrie , glad everything working for you! Happy gaming!
  20. People keep saying the gods were created, but the actual process was merging thousand of Engwithans souls together and souls are a repository of memories. My guess is that Berath was(are) the Engwithan(s) who created and built the Wheel before being granted apotheosis. Which means that Berath should know how to repair it... if she does..what does she gain letting Eotha do the breaking the wheel down? Unless she use the knowledge to blackmail the gods , or use the knowledge to control the mortal who will rebuild it in a way that will give her an edge or advantage...... Or keep the knowledge..and give up the job she has ? and become something that don't rely on the wheel maybe? She gains long vacations? I feels like we are missing some information about the gods true purpose to really speculate properly. Eothas say they walked away form it, but I don't remember much explanation on what it was outside "strong soul" getting a mention. If souls are involved than the Wheel is involved though. Let's hope not! I'm totally smitten now by Berath and wanna nerd about the gods as much as I can ! why would she summon us when the gods bickers ? To see that they are no different from mortal ? hear stuff the others gods don't want you to hear ? unless berath want death to all gods ?
  21. why are you trying to sneak in ? The HQ is locked at night but open during the day . Btw..is your title accurate? cose....I know this stuff for the beginning , but afte the game end? can you even keep playing?
  22. Pallagina will only be in the castle...which depand on the save you imported , if she followed order back from POE1 . If she was banished , you can find her in the Valliant HQ and recruit her from there . (unless your save say she is died or something) . Valliant gone hostile , as in on the map at sea hostile? or npc hostile?
